      "body": "<center><h2>Tags, Attributes, and Elements</h2></center>\n\nAlthough the basics of HTML is plain text, we need a bit more to make it a nice and shiny HTML document.\n\n<h2>Tags</h2>\n\nThe basic structure of an HTML document includes tags, which surround content and apply meaning to it.\n\nChange your document so that it looks like this:\n\n<center>\n\n`<!DOCTYPE html>` \n`<html>` \n`<body>`\n   This is my first web page\n`</body>`\n ` < /html>`\n\n</center>\n\nNow save the document again, go back to the web browser and reload the page.\n\nThe appearance of the page will not have changed at all, but the purpose of HTML is to apply meaning, not presentation, and this example has now defined some fundamental elements of a web page.\n\nThe first line on the top, `<!DOCTYPE html>`, is a document type declaration and it lets the browser know which flavor of HTML you’re using (HTML5, in this case). It’s very important to stick this in - If you don’t, browsers will assume you don’t really know what you’re doing and act in a very peculiar way.\n\nTo get back to the point, `<html>` is the opening tag that kicks things off and tells the browser that everything between that and the < /html> closing tag is an HTML document. The stuff between `<body> `and `</body>` is the main content of the document that will appear in the browser window.\n\n<h2>Closing tags</h2>\n\nThe `</body> ` and  `</ html>` put a close to their respective elements (more on elements in a moment).\n\nNot all tags have closing tags like this (`<html>< /html>`) some tags, which do not wrap around content will close themselves. The line-break tag for example, looks like this : <br> - a line break doesn’t hold any content so the tag merrily sits by its lonely self. We will come across these examples later. All you need to remember is that all tags with content between them should be closed, in the format of opening tag → content → closing tag. It isn’t, strictly speaking, always a requirement, but it’s a convention we’re using in these tutorials because it’s good practice that results in cleaner, easier to understand code.\n\nYou might come across “self-closing” tags, whereby a br tag, for example, will look like `“<br />”` instead of simply `“<br>”`. This is a remnant of XHTML, a form of HTML based on another markup language called XML. HTML5 is much more chilled out than XHTML and will be happy with either format. Some developers prefer one way, some prefer the other. We tossed a coin and decided to stick with the simpler version.\n\n<h2>Attributes</h2>\n\nTags can also have attributes, which are extra bits of information. Attributes appear inside the opening tag and their values sit inside quotation marks. They look something like` <tag attribute=\"value\">`Margarine`</tag>`. We will come across tags with attributes later.\n\nOnce again, quotation marks aren’t always essential but it is a good-practice convention HTML Dog uses for consistency and clarity. We suggest you do the same\n\n<h2>Elements</h2>\n\nTags tend not to do much more than mark the beginning and end of an element. Elements are the bits that make up web pages. You would say, for example, that everything that is in between (and includes) the` <body> `and` </body>` tags is the body element. It isn’t presentational — that’s what CSS is for — HyperText Markup Language is a simple, elegant way to structure content.\n\n<center><h2>Getting Started</h2></center>\n\nMost of the stuff on the web is no different than the stuff on your computer — it’s just a whole load of files sorted into a whole load of directories.\n\nHTML files are nothing more than simple text files, so to start writing in HTML, you need nothing more than a simple text editor.\n\nNotepad is a common text editor on Windows-based computers (usually found under the Programs > Accessories menu) and Mac OSX computers come bundled with TextEdit but any program that lets you fiddle with text will do.\n\nType this in to your text editor:\n\n\n>This is my first web page\n\nNow create a folder called “html” wherever you like to save files on your computer and save the file as “myfirstpage.html”.\n\n\n\nBe careful. It is important that the extension “.html” is specified - some text editors, such as Notepad, will automatically save it as “.txt” otherwise.\n\nYou also need to ensure that your file is being saved as plain text. TextEdit, for example, will start new files as “Rich text”, containing lots of formatting extras, by default. In such cases, go into the preferences and make sure you check the “Plain text” format option before creating a new file.\n\nTo look at HTML files, they don’t even need to be on the web.       "body": "There was a heartbreaking moment of clarity that brought me to my knees, when suddenly I realized—it’s you.\n\nIt wasn’t because of sweet answers that suddenly spilled from our lips, washing away all of the memories from the times when we only wanted to see half of what was there. Nor was it because anything changed—except maybe that we finally had.\n\nIn reality, it was just a few hours of time bending in half long enough for us to find our way to each other.\n\nThis time it wasn’t because either of us were pretending to be the people we thought we should be, and it wasn’t about who was playing the game better.\n\nIt simply became a moment when we both were fully present and had let our walls down enough to see each other.\n\nI thought I knew what I wanted and needed in a partner—until I met you.\n\nYou were nothing I ever thought I’d want, yet somehow you ended up becoming precisely the kind of man that I need.\n\nYou were a surprise—one that I wasn’t prepared for.\n\nI had known that there was some sort of connection between the two of us, some undercurrent of energy that goes beyond what the logical mind can explain, and for a while that was enough for me to know.\n\nAnd then life changed in the million and one ways that it tends to—and suddenly, without warning, I found myself in love with you.\n\nSure, maybe the signs were all there, but even if that was so, I was still the last one to know.\n\nThis love felt different than the feelings I knew I possessed toward you long ago. Lifetimes before, you had asked if I loved you, and I said yes—but now I know that there is a difference in loving someone versus being in love with someone.\n\nIronically, as I try to think back and remember when I first knew I had fallen in love with you, I can’t actually remember when it happened. Perhaps it was when you brought a flood of memories back with the single touch of my wrist, or maybe it was when I saw my youngest grab your hand and mine in her small little hands for a walk together.\n\nIt might have been in the way that I saw you with your own child, so tender and sure that my heart broke open so widely for you, I don’t think it will ever close.\n\nBut still, I don’t remember falling in love with you…only that somewhere between the dance of autumn leaves and the new ripe buds of spring, I suddenly discovered this well of love within myself with depths that now seem unfathomable.\n\nNow, I realize that it’s always been you.\n\nEven as I walked away from you and found other men to distract me from the way your dark eyes would burn into mine—I see now that I still never really left your gaze.\n\nAlthough I have said bitter and harsh words to you, I know now that I never meant any of them. It was just that you always had a way of triggering me and challenging my choice to live a life that was expected of me, instead of one that I wanted.\n\nAnd through it all, I never really expected it to be you—in fact, in some ways I was hoping that it wasn’t.\n\nBut as we were discussing stars and fireflies, I was simply and honestly taken aback when I realized and suddenly thought: “Oh, it is you.”\n\nHowever, I don’t really know what all this means—and the reality is that in the end, it may ultimately mean nothing.\n\nAs strongly as I felt that moment of clarity when I was by your side and in your arms—I don’t know if you had the same experience or not.\n\nPerhaps there was nothing truly special in anything that happened that evening or in the way the lights created a golden curtain as my hair fell around your face when we kissed.\n\nIt’s possible that our fingertips were spelling out lust against our bare skin rather than love—and afterward, I became anxious about that: what if you experienced the evening in a completely different way than I did?\n\nUntil I realized—it doesn’t matter.\n\nIt doesn’t matter if you felt that tingling of love start ringing in your chest as my body was pressed against yours, nor does it matter if you regret what happened or not.\n\nBecause before the evening was over, I was already thinking that even if all we had was this night—and this moment of fireflies in a secret, enchanted forest—then I will still be eternally grateful for it.\n\nI was grateful for you for showing up for me in the way that you did.\n\nI was grateful to be in your arms and by your side with nothing—not even ourselves—standing in the way this time.\n\nAnd it was then that I truly realized that not only is it you—but it always has been.\n\nYou are the love that I never saw coming, the one that I tried to run away from and close my eyes to because I was scared of what you would ultimately mean to my life and how it would have to change if you met me here in this place where anything is possible.\n\nI was terrified by the woman I would have to become in order to be the one that you needed as well—that is, until I realized that I never had to do anything, other than just be myself.\n\nBecause that is the woman that you are most enamored by—the messy me who shines the brightest in the darkness of truth after my walls have come crashing down.\n\nI don’t know what the future will hold, and I don’t know when or if you will ever really figure out what place it is that I occupy within your heart, but the thing is that I trust in the magical way that life works out.\n\nI truly believe that if you are the one who is meant to stand by my side, then one way or another, you will find your way here to me.\n\nAnd just maybe, if or when that time comes, I’ll find out that it’s me—and that it always has been too.",
