Plagiarism is considered a violation of academic integrity and a breach of journalistic ethics.[source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plagiarism)\n\n`Certainly those of us who are in studios, in content platforms such as Steemit and in the world of music as is my case sometimes need to take ideas, lyrics, rhythms, images and a lot of support material from other authors for the publication of our posts, for the singing of songs, to graphically design some art, etc.\nOur original creations will always be ours, they will be our brain tests, until someone else takes these creations and publishes them as their own, this being a criminal and dishonest act that affects the original creator of the work in question who will feel robbed, victim of abuse.\nIt is necessary to clarify that if it is possible to use external sources to elaborate our creations, as long as we do not publish them as our own and taking into consideration certain steps that must be applied to highlight the original source from where we get the ideas that we incorporate in our publications, in this way the credit will be given to the original creator and we will avoid being branded as plagiarists.`\n\n## Types of plagiarism\n\n**Direct Plagiarism**\n>Direct plagiarism is the word-for-word transcription of a section of someone else’s work, without attribution and without quotation marks.
