I just use the linux side to download mods, patches, etc for the games on the Windows side.       "body": "This was fun retro computer to work on.  It is a Gateway ESX 500X from the E-4000 Series.  Originally manufactured in 2002. Number: FPD1810  It works okay, but there is something wrong with it.  Occasionally part of the bottom portion of the picture stretches all the way off screen.  It doesn't do it that often, but when it does, just poking the monitor makes it go back to normal. Which is a lightweight Linux distro, making this computer usable on the internet.  Browsing websites required patients as it was pretty slow.  I just use the linux side to download mods, patches, etc for the games on the Windows side. I disabled the ethernet port on the XP partition.\n\nThe video card was advertised as new, but the box was opened already. I have an external so I don't really care.  It's just for show anyway, unless I need to flash BIOS. That little square gap next to was a firewire port that plugged into the old sound card.
