I'll try to explain it as easy as I can...\nWell, Data means information & we all know what Type stands for...\nSo, from the word itself we can assume that it stands for \"Various Types of Information\"...\n\nNow, we can come to the definition of DataType in Computer Programming.\n\nIn order to make a software or game or just a normal Program we need various types of Data (information) such as like: Numbers, Names, Fractions, True-False and so on.  These information are been expressed through datatypes & variables (there will be a vast discussion on variables later) . So,\n\"Datatype is a core component of any programming Language that can hold a particular kind of data item, as defined by the values it can take, in that specific programming language, or the operations that can be performed on it. \" \n\n\nSince we know what is Datatype let's know about the Data-Types in C programming Language.\n\nIn C programming Language there are basically 2 types of DATATYPE.\n1. Primary (Basic) DATA types &\n2. Float,\n2. Double,\n3.
