Current telecommunication resources are monopolized by groups that dominate the business such as MNOs, and therefore, freedom of communication is suppressed. With \"ROM\", we are trying to present the freedom of connection (communication) through the sharing of communication resources.\n\n# Authentication via Blockchain\n\nThe telecommunication service can be provided only when the user is authenticated. This is because the user needs to be known where he or she is located before being made a connection. Actually, there is not much difference among the prime costs of telecommunication services between countries because they are already digitalized. However, MNOs(mobile network operators) charge an excessive amount that is more than ten times based solely on the location that the user has authenticated. ROM project aims to establish a convenient communication environment so that the telecommunication service can be used in the same condition as the domestic one using the Internet via the change of the authentication method with the block chain technology. To enjoy true freedom of telecommunication beyond the coercive authentication of MNOs, it is what ROM is aiming for. This is the same as Ripple's ability to have made all banks escape from prison of 'swift code' in the international remittance market.\n\n# Service of ROM Project\n\nROM is a multi-platform that combines IPTV, communication, and game services. It is a decentralized data communication service that produces more values by using a user’s idle communication resources through\n\n# “ROM Service”. \n\nThe name of the ROM communication service that we provide is \"Hybrid Roaming\". \"Hybrid Roaming\" is a service that combines 'voice' and 'data'. It provides 'voice call' service which combines existing voice communication network and VoIP service with 'data' using ROM chip, at a breakthrough price. Through ROM, one can use the same communication service around the world using their phone number.\n\n# “ROM-TV Service”\n\nROM-TV provides an OTT(IPTV) service that transmits various TV contents in real time through the Internet using a set-top box(ROM BOX) based on Android OS. It is the only company that signed a contract for contents copyright with major broadcasting companies in Korea and acquired the authority to transmit VOD contents as well as live broadcast contents to Southeast Asia. In addition, ROM plans to offer common services by entering into a partnership with the major broadcasting and communication companies of each nation. First, it will open an internet TV OTT service across Vietnam in cooperation with VTC, a Vietnamese government-run broadcasting station. It plans to offer customers stable services and pay copyright-holders the correct copyright fees.\n\n# “ROM-GAME Service”\n\nROM offers VAS with an Android set-top box. There are already many services in the Android ecosystem. In particular, gaming, shopping, and advertising have become quite close to the people’s daily lives. In case of a game, while a virtual society is built in one, various services can be made by combining diverse goods obtained from the game—game money and items, example—with an ROM Token. These additional services will not only be limited to the ROM platform, but will also provide an opportunity to expand their reach and be used as a means of payment in online shopping malls (eg\nAmazon, Alibaba, Timon, Coupang, etc.).\n\n# THANK YOU\n\nROM, scheduled to launch in 4th semester of 2018, will become the world’s first cryptocurrency to be utilized in everyday life across multiple countries.
