In the last two weeks, the Steemit has seen a significant growth (~1000%) – rather impressive feat, to say the least. The site launched in May of this year, but it was only recently that contributor funding was released and the the platform paid equivalent of 1.3 billion of Steemit’scryptocurrency (or “Steems“).&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Hoes does Steemit work?</h2>\n<h3>Is it paid?</h3>\n<p>Steemit is currently free to join. The platform is only 3 months old (currently in BETA) so this may that may change.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>What’s the idea?</strong></p>\n<p><img src=\"http://gridconcepts.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/steemit-feature-1024x536.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"536\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;It is simple in theory – give the power to Steemit users to create and curate content on the website and in return they receive a proportional cut of the digital currency, rather than the corporate stakeholders, like we’ve seen with other social sites. Much like Bitcoin, the Steemit currency is completely online and offers an exchange rate against the US dollar. There are currently 657 digital currencies tracked by the price index site Coin market. On which Steemit has managed to reach close to the top of the list as the third largest in terms of market cap in 3 months! But it’s not the crypto-currency incentive that should be most appealing to content marketers – it’s the potential audience that this platform may present.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<h1>How is it different to other social media platforms?</h1>\n<p>It’s all a popularity contest on Steemit, much like that of Reddit and Facebook. The more engagement you get on a post, the more likely you are to show up in trending feeds. But what makes this platform so unique is that audiences get a share of the cash prizes just by interacting through votes and comments. With cash benefits for writers and more importantly active interactors, there’s a great deal of incentive for audiences to consume content like we’ve never seen before.&nbsp;</p>\n<h1>Who contributes content to Steemit currently?</h1>\n<p>The content on Steemit isn’t limited to computer and online currency talk either. Users can post any kind of content they want and categorise their content though searchable tags. Topics range from gardening and travel tips to how-to computer coding guides plus everything in between. Don’t take my word for it though, click on the live feed of all the interactions on Steem to see the rate at which it is being adopted by both content creators and readers alike. Remuneration through interaction is calculated by what posts go viral and who was the first to give these articles the tick of approval. The more popular a post is, the more its voters are rewarded.       "body": "<html>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;It was a school day; mum had come in at the usual time to wake me up. “Hannah, Hannah darling its time to get up” “Five more minutes” I replied, “No now!” my mum said as she yanked the doona off me. I decided I better get up. As I walked out, mumbling to myself about hating school, I realized everyone was already up, which was weird considering I was normally the first one ready in the mornings at my house. “What time is it?” I asked mum barely awake, “8.30am” mum replied, “WHAT!!” I screamed, I had never woken up this late and I would have to be quick considering at my school the first bell rang at 8.45am, which meant I only had 15 minutes. <br>\n&nbsp;</p>\n<p>I manage to get to school, even though I was a bit late. It was a pretty good day at school. It was the late afternoon when I heard my name come over the loud speaker, “Hannah Stevenson, please report to the office, Hannah Stevenson thank you.” Unwillingly I dragged my feet up the office steps, I got to the door and she told me to take a seat, around five minutes later my mum and my little sister walked in. “ Hey mum” “Hi Darl” I could tell she was trying to smile, but it wasn’t working very well. <br>\n “What are you doing here?” I asked her “I thought I would come pick you and your sister up early” “That’s Great!” I said enthusiastically, “Not everyone was happy about it” she said, as she said that I immediately looked at my little sister, why did she have to be such a nerd. “We were just about to have a test” she whined. “So? We get a day off don’t we?” “I guess “sighed my sister. My sister, my mum and I walked down the office steps and into the car park where we got into our car. When we got home we sat on the couch , I reached for the TV remote but mum stopped me. “I need to talk to you guys” her happy mood had somehow been replaced with sadness, “Yeahh??” my sister and I replied at the same time, “ Well girls , aunty Nora rang today” I knew this would be bad news, Aunty Nora never rang unless something had happened, “Well...” my mum started , I could see tears welling up in her eyes, “ Your father.... “ oh goshh mum hadn't mentioned dad for years, “ Your father has passed away” , I stopped dead, I couldn't believe what I had just heard. My dad , my own father is gone, and I will never see him again .I let go of my mum and ran out of the door I just wanted to keep on running and I never wanted to stop. Even though my mum and him had divorced when I was grade 2 he was still my dad , I still loved him. I went to his funeral, As I walked in the door there was a picture of him , staring right at me. At that point I relised that he was gone , he would never get to see me or my sisters grow up . And that would have to be the worst day of my life.</p>\n</html>",

      "body": "<html>\n<p>&nbsp;It's a question many women have. If you are asking this question, you already know that God views abortion as a sin--as murder in fact. So the question is, what is God's criteria for forgiveness of a sin? Or more simply: What do I need to do to be forgiven? In a word, Repent. To repent is to change your mind about your actions so completely that you change your actions. Part of that is being sorry for what you've done. Not just sorry for the circumstances that you feel forced you into doing it, but sorry that you did it, regardless of the circumstances. Some people will think about a sin (abortion or something else), decide that they will repent the next day, and go ahead and do it. Perhaps the next day they tell God, \"I shouldn't have done that. Please forgive me.\" And they think every time they want to commit that sin they can do it, and then just smooth things over with God. That isn't repentance. And God does not forgive someone who hasn't truly repented.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;So if you are thinking about having an abortion, you will either come to deeply regret it, or you will never be forgiven. That mixture of relief and guilt you may feel is not repentance. You have not repented until you come to the place where, if you were in the same situation, you would not commit the sin that you did. If you already had an abortion and you are sorry that you ever did it, and you wish you could undo it, and you have committed that you will never do it again--in other words, if you have repented of the sin--you are ready to find God's forgiveness and healing. But let me warn you. God doesn't want to forgive just one sin and still have to punish you for all of the others. He wants to forgive you for all of them. And for that, you have to be willing to give up all of your sins. You don't come to the bargaining table with God. You have to surrender everything.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/64/e3/75/64e3756d482b5c07d8b3deacbe8d5372.jpg\" width=\"236\" height=\"364\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;Imagine God as a king with subjects. Someone has led an insurrection against him, and he is going to punish the rebels. If a rebel comes to him and says, \"I'm sorry about one crime I committed, but I'm not sorry about all of the rest,\" the king won't have much mercy on him. But perhaps the rebel comes to him and says, \"I'm ashamed of everything I did. I can't make it up to you. I have nothing to give you to repay the damages. But I submit to you now, and I'll do anything you tell me now.\" Then the king forgives him, and adopts him as his own child, and gives him an inheritance in his kingdom. God wants complete repentance and a complete submission to Him. In return, He forgives completely. He never brings your rebellion up to you again. He chooses to forget it, and treats you as if you had never rebelled. He gives you peace instead of guilt. He heals your broken heart. He assures you of His love for you. He gives you help to do what you ought to do when you feel like giving up. He promises that He will never leave you. He adopts you as His child and gives you a supportive family of His other children. He guarantees that no power or circumstance, including death itself, can ever rob you of your relationship as His child. Some people try to prove their repentance by punishing themselves. They think that if they cause enough pain to themselves, God will be more likely to forgive them. That's the wrong approach. That's trying to pay for our own sin and satisfy God on our terms. Rather than submitting to God and accepting His free forgiveness, that's telling God you don't need Him. It's a sign of continued rebellion. Whatever your situation, just submit to God and obey Him. Enjoy His forgiveness, and allow Him to heal you.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://static.ilykecdn.com/uploads/2016/04/08/sub/78117-large-318491.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"250\"/></p>\n</html>",
