God will never give you an assignment without standing with you to see that the assignment is completed.\n\nWhen He (God) sent Moses to go and rescue the children of Israel from the land of bondage (Egypt), He was with Moses till he succeeded in taking them out of the land of bondage. \n\nAll we have to do as believers is to trust and obey him. Elijah obeyed God, served God diligently and God took him to Heaven without him seeing death. So wheresoever position we find ourselves to serve God, let's serve him with all our hearts and in obedience cos it really pays to serve God.
