She has battled many things. Homelessness, addiction, two young boys! She has been in shootouts, and now, she's settled down. And there is one way I can make that dream come true for the both of us!!!\n\nThat dream come true is a Tiny House.\nThis solution is perfect. I can build it myself with recycled materials, and I'll be able to give back something to my mom that she'll have for the rest of her life, and will help her live out the rest of her life in peace with a book in her hands. \n\nMy grandfather also owns undeveloped land in Colorado, Costilla County, so she'll never have to pay any lot fees either! The great thing about Costilla County is that there are already modern thinkers pushing for alternate living ideas in that very county, it's a match made in heaven! But also, we are now in Washington, one of the main states for the Tiny House Movement.\n\nI myself love the Tiny House Movement. I've built a small website to host video tours of tiny houses since they are so beautiful to look at. The Website I built is \nTinyHouseTours.Co Check it out if you love videos of tiny houses as much as I do.\n\nI know my mom will probably never own a home of her own, and I may own one in the future, but just getting there is a long way away, and she's tired!\nI'll keep pushing, as I always have, driven by a feeling of Duty towards her.\n\nThis means literally the world to me. I don't think I can go through life knowing that my mom's needs may not be met. I'd have peace. She'd have peace. I'd be more thankful than I can even imagine.\n\nThe way the funding will be broken down is simple, a double axle trailer usually costs about 2000 minimum. I was planning on using the rest of the funds to build the shell, and over time fill it with all the \"creature comforts\" that she could want! Don't get me wrong, I understand that space is limited, and that it could be difficult to raise a family in a tiny house, but I think they are great transitional options for younger people who want to branch out a little bit. \n\nSome people may even end up living their whole life in a tiny house, and that's fine too! I know that some people want, and even need more space, which is completely understandable. I often dream of having a tiny home with a garage that I can dock next to or something, a man cave if you will.\n\nNot only are these houses easy to clean, but they also are usually little to no emissions! We never saw it coming. Seeing what mortgages did to so many families, and before that credit cards were all the rage. With a little savvy, I really wasn't affected by the 08' situation too much.\n\nThere's always a revolution, especially through the younger generations, and in a time when mortgages are still high, and the housing market is still \"OK\", the Tiny House RE-emerged! (most tiny houses are over 50yrs! http://thetinylife.com/tiny-house-infographic/)\n\nThat's right, I'm no ultra tiny house proponent, but I really think they should be much more popular! Don't get me wrong, I understand that space is limited, and that it could be difficult to raise a family in a tiny house, but I think they are great transitional options for younger people who want to branch out a little bit. \n\nSome people may even end up living their whole life in a tiny house, and that's fine too! I know that some people want, and even need more space, which is completely understandable. I often dream of having a tiny home with a garage that I can dock next to or something, a man cave if you will.\n\nNot only are these houses easy to clean, but they also are usually little to no emissions! That's what I really like about them.
