Samuel estaba al frente, justo al lado de la puerta, podía oler el tabaco mientras se iba quemando en esa pequeña circunferencia que cada año se hacía más negra. No era el mismo tiempo de siempre, no era el mismo cielo, no era el mismo mar. Podía olerse a lo lejos, lo podrido, venía de un lugar lejano y casi olvidado por nosotros. Ese algo nos había dejado sin pesca estos últimos tres años, nos tuvimos que adaptar, aprender nuevas formas de subsistencia. Pero ese algo que venía del más allá había comenzado a arrastrar estas tormentas. Y las cosechan se han ido inundando, cerros completos, desechos en charcos corriendo como ríos al mar, llevándose chozas y destruyendo votes que tenían tiempo anclado a la orilla. Nada parece ser lo que era en mi niñez. ¿Qué quedará para mi hija Marie? Ya esta tierra ha comenzado a caernos encima, ni las estrellas pueden protegernos. Las nubes grises la cubren y solo nos deja ver la luna en el resplandor del agua. ¿Qué decir del sol?<br/><br/>Hay un algo, algo que no sabemos nombrar, que ya no nos quiere aquí. Que se ha adueñado de todo poco a poco y busca devorarnos a su paso. Los hombres del pueblo han comenzado a reunirse. Se frotan las manos por el frío, cada uno echando humo y bebiendo el poco ron que nos queda. No hay leña, nunca había hecho falta. Como tampoco había hecho falta los abrigos. La vecina toma a sus tres hijos entre sus brazos y llora, llora. Carmelina piensa que es mejor caminar tierra adentro, pero la tierra ya ha devorado algunos de los nuestro en los últimos meses, los pocos que volvieron, uno solo, nunca nos contó que encontró allá dentro. No volvió a hablar, nunca. Se puede ver la desesperación, se siente cuando se estrechan las manos. Está la angustia en cada calada, se ve consumirse la paciencia en el breve fuego del tabaco.<br/><br/>¡Remaremos! ¡Remaremos! - Comenzaron a gritar los pescadores - Tres días de sol serán la señal. Solo hay que esperar tres días de sol y saldremos un grupo a buscar otras tierras, hay que irnos antes que esta tierra acaba con nosotros.<br/><br/>El algo oía nuestras disputas, no pasaron dos días y paró la lluvia. Tres días de sol, al cuarto día cargaron todo. Samuel y otros 25 pescadores salieron en los pocos votes que quedaban.<br/><br/>Pronto volverá papá Marie, pronto volverá.</p>\n<hr/>\n<hr/>\n<Center><h1><strong>The wait</strong></h1></Center>\n<p>The drops were falling, loud sounds, and the sparseness of the house made it easier to create the echoes. Just as there has never been a need for coats. The neighbour takes her three children in her arms and cries, cries, cries. Carmelina thinks it&#x27;s better to walk inland, but the earth has already devoured some of our children in the last few months, the few who came back, only one, never told us what he found in there. He never spoke again, never. You can see the desperation, you can feel it when you shake hands.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">Estos últimos dos años he dejado de escribir. El encierro y los cambio que generó la pandemia me llevaron a escribir poco, y a recitar cada vez menos mis poemas. Fue algo difícil, pero con el tiempo he venido superando de a poco esta sequía. Recientemente he comenzado de nuevo a revisar mis antiguos poemas, todos lo que tengo a la mano. Libretas, papeles y cuadernos acumulados con escritos que muchas veces son inentendibles para mí mismo, pero que de alguna manera van dejando migajas que seguir. Ahora, aparte de eso, han dejado una sensación horrible en mí, porque he escrito cosas que son una mierda, sin el perdón de la palabra. Lo cual me va a llevar a buscar una nueva voz, a estudiarme a mí mismo para llegar a algún lugar, dónde, no lo sé, pero a algún lugar. Sin más que decir comparto con ustedes unos de los poemas que creo que tiene un valor significativo y que puede ser el comienzo de un nuevo camino por delante. Ojo, otro poema sin título.\n<p></p>\n<center>***</center>\n<p></p>\nMe he sentado a esperar el olvido, el beso fresco y frío del ocaso. Me he ausentado por largo tiempo de mí mismo, queriendo perder los recuerdos en otros lados. Como quien contamina el aire, he dejado de fumar mi famoso cigarrillo. He intentado ser otro hombre y así no pensarte. Y he querido alejar tus manos de tu cuerpo, no sufrir con esta infancia rota, con este cuerpo vacío, y este pecho anclado. He dejado de buscarte, de esperarte, de anhelarte. ¿Quién soy yo para negarte poesía? Escribí poco, cree poco, casi no hice música. Dejé de hacer muchas cosas en definitiva. Y deje de hablar, hice silencio durante mucho tiempo. Me senté a escuchar el murmullo del viento, que casi me termina de volver loco (si eso es posible, si es que ya no estoy completamente loco). A diferencia de muchos, hoy, me siento a pensar y no quiero decir que fue un año donde aprendí muchas cosas, porque no fue así. Fue un año donde dejé de aprender, donde me dediqué a olvidar. En diferentes ocasiones intenté plasmar esa rebeldía (si lo puedo llamar así) hacía la vida. Me fue complicado en muchos sentido, siento que no lo conseguí, me faltaba algo, tal vez mi voz, tal vez algo de silencio. Así compartiré con ustedes uno de esos poemas, el que considero que está más completo, para recordad el aó que se fue. Y también comparto alguna de las fotos que comencé a hacer este año. Ojalá esta casa fuera solo mía. Y más después de tanto tiempo sin escribir. Sí, amigos, he pasado mucho tiempo sin escribir, buscando palabra y, sobre todo, mucho tiempo en silencio, esperando. A pesar de que todo el tiempo las palabras están a mi alrededor, en muchos momentos siento que se me escapan, que no las encuentro. Algo que en ocasiones me frustra. En fin, espero hayan pasado un tiempo de felicidad a pesar de todas las cosas, les deseo lo mejor en estos días y para el nuevo año que está por empezar.
