O conceito é o mesmo do Euro, Dolar, Escudo ou qualquer outra moeda que se lembrem mas no caso das criptomoedas com uma diferença, não existe uma entidade centralizada a controlar a rede (bancos), a rede é auto-controlada através de um protocolo open-source (quer isto dizer que todo o código/estrutura é acessível por qualquer pessoa). \n\nO conceito é que existe uma comunidade que dá valor a uma moeda, ganhando essa moeda um valor real!
