Today i am going to talk a little bit about preparing sarma and about eating them.\n\nFirst of all sarma is some rice, meat and onion wrapped in unsliced *sauerkraut*. ![kks.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmeKAM8csrZH28euUmdvXHWgMyG79C7v8hcdPPehHRNCaz/kks.jpg)\nSo sauerkraut is finely chopped cabbage left in some barel with some liquids to age and become sour. \n\nSo for making sarma we need:\n-500g nicely minced meat \n-2 onion heads\n-1 garlic head\n-1 carrot\n-100g rice\n-1/2 spoon of paprika\n-5g pepper\n-salt (depends on how salty you want it to be)\n-3 bay leafs\n-200 ml oil\n-200g bacon\n-1 head sauerkraut\n\nOn a ripping hot pan spill some oil and then add your garlic, onion (finely chopped) and some shredded carrot. When you think these veggies fryed enough you add that 500g meat and half of our bacon chopped on cubes and keep that mix frying. Add some salt and pepper, add rice and half of tea spoon of paprika. Mix all that and let the flavors get to know each other before turning the heat off, letting it cool while we need our sauerkraut. (HINT: Pick some smaller sauerkraut heads because we need smaller leafs to make our sarma look perfect). \n\nSo, first step is over and it should look like this:\n![sarma1.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcAMeje2NYPTQkgBQYLgaD8vGRE7tNJGJq6WVDshtjjJe/sarma1.jpg)\nI didn't use my own pic for this because i do it first time and it doesn't look nearly good as this looks.\n\nNext step. Use your sauerkraut leafs as a wrap for your sarma filling, straighten your leaf and use a spoon to fill the leaf with the filling (about two full spoons per leaf). Put your bay leafs on top of your sarmas and close the cooking pot.       "body": "Hello steemit users, recently i heard about this super cool social network and all of it's adventages upon all the others. So, the main reason i made my account is the desire for a new social network that's a lot less toxic and filthy than the others (i don't need to name them). But, i am getting ahead of myself. My name is Petar (you can call me Pete) i am 19 years old and i come from Serbia. I used to attend to College of Hotel University in Belgrade, but it didn't work out so well :(. However, i've learned a lot from a fail, we may call it a mistake. I wasn't born in Belgrade, that's just the city that i live in at the moment, i come from a city located in southern part of Serbia, named Sokobanja (it basically means falcon spa?). It's a small city with about 10000 inhabitants and a lot stories. However, now i live in Belgrade - a city with about 1,3 million people living in it (guess we can call it a tough change huh). I am currently preparing for an IT Academy and now i learn about programming and stuff, it's really motivating me and it keeps me busy which i like to be. So, there's the main reason i am doing this, when i failed to finish my first semester of college i attended to i got so depressed and demotivated that i even considered going back home because it's just easier and back there no one expects nothing from me, but finally i kinda got out of depression and sadness (at least i think so) and i feel responsible to greet every single human being that chooses to talk to me. I am trying to spread the positivity on everyone because everyone deserves it and everyone needs it. My profile is going to be focused on that kind of stuff. Motivation, positivity and strive for a better time in your life.",
