You cut the bread in thin slices (easier when not totally dry!) and then add a mix of milk and eggs so that the bread is moist again. With raisins and other dried fruits like apricots you will get a tasty cake (photograph). With bacon, parsley another combination. you could add cheese or fish (even tuna from the tin. Use your imagination and never again throw bread away!!!
