At the same time, on the Chinese exchanges, BTC/CNY crashed to as low as 3,300USD. \n\nThis created an arbitrage opportunity of just over 21% for anyone with CNY ready to go. They could simply buy BTC on their local exchanges and send it to their accounts or accounts of anyone they knew on the rest of the world's exchanges and nearly instantly realise a 20% gain. \n\nOn CNY exchanges BTC has rebounded around 18.5% off the lows and the gap is currently down to 3912USD on CNY exchanges vs around 4180USD on most other exchanges. That means the arbitrage gap is down to 6.7%.       "body": "So since returning from Indonesia I've been a little busy and havent had too much time to update my sessions so I'm going to bundle them into this update:\n\nSeptember 4th: +338.95, EV +3508\n\n5th: +5221, EV +3516\n\n7th: +10501, EV -675\n\nObviously the smooth sailing from last month has continued and I certainly seem to have been getting some run good from steemit posting!\n\nI also played what I think is my biggest hand of the year so far. To give a quick bit of background, I had been reraising the opponent pretty frequently and winning a number of midsize pots off him with continuation bets. He makes a standard raise on the button with AQQ4 with three diamonds and I make a standard reraise with my AA. He then proceeds to make a non-standard, but for from terrible reraise.       "body": "Obviously, based on my prior posts August was on track to be a good month. The final count was 61k USD to the good and it meant breaking past my former peak after having suffered a 71k downswing during July. I actually played relatively few hours and hands, only clocking 52 hours of play compared to 162 hours in July. This was also partially due to me taking a week off in Indonesia to finish off the month.       "body": "Yep, improvements have to be made, and they are generally made by new entrants. My take is that crypto space is to dominated by technical people and way to few marketing people. That said, almost no crypto coin is ready for mainstream, may none at all. Transaction speeds are way to low to be used for payments. And it is too easy to loose coins, just a single type error, and gone is the money. Steem made that last part much easier by introducing the account names, which coins have that? Anyway, we need still a lot of time before crypto (can) go mainstream IMHO.",
