bodyI’m a bit confused I was so enthusiastic when i heard about this project. But I hear more and more that the coin itself doesn’t have any value, nor that it is usable on the EOS platform. I’ll quote from the EOS terms: *“EOS Tokens have no rights, uses, purpose, attributes, functionalities or features, express or implied. EOS Tokens do not entitle holders to participate on the EOS Platform, even if the EOS Platform is launched and the EOS.IO Software’s development is finished and the EOS.IO Software is adopted and implemented. 7.2. EOS Platform. Buyer should not purchase EOS Tokens in reliance on the EOS Platform because EOS Tokens are NOT usable on the EOS Platform and do not entitle Buyer to anything with respect to the EOS Platform."* Why making a coin that is not usable on the platform? Who says that the people who joined the ICO didn’t gave their money away without getting anything in return? I really was looking forward to this project (as many others) but I don’t really see the point of EOS coins if it has no value and that is not usable on the platform. Could anyone help me with my confusion?

bodyI couple of days I go I was searching if there was a possibility to earn free bitcoins and to my surprise I came across this: https://s19.postimg.org/lveaeyo43/999dice12.png https://s19.postimg.org/w7vj3xbbn/999dice.png At first I was skeptic it sounded too good to be true: free bitcoins, dogecoins, litecoins and ethereum. So I read everything. First what it was: https://s19.postimg.org/a4vb0gp03/999dice_2.png Then I was curious about how it is played: https://s19.postimg.org/5hp8yp1n7/999dice_1.png Ok that sounded too simple and too easy. Who said the game itself was fair? Who said that I got a shot at earning any of those coins? I don’t know anything of programming so I asked a friend of mine to look at the code to see if it was indeed a fair play or not: https://s19.postimg.org/f4sr8eumr/999dice3.png https://s19.postimg.org/68n11lac3/999dice4.png https://s19.postimg.org/jgmeuj7v7/999dice13.png https://s19.postimg.org/73e61d7kj/999dice14.png You can make an account so you can deposit or withdraw your profit: https://s19.postimg.org/j4zwknl3n/999dice5.png https://s19.postimg.org/tpew0cvwz/999dice6.png I didn’t want to deposit one of my coins that I had in my wallet, but to my first surprise I don’t needed to deposit any of them: https://s19.postimg.org/fphflyjkj/999dice15.png https://s19.postimg.org/xe4kzu5xv/999dice8.png https://s19.postimg.org/regtw6l5f/999dice9.png https://s19.postimg.org/a2ghaqro3/999dice10.png https://s19.postimg.org/v0mn8trir/999dice11.png If you click on *Claim Bitcoins Now’* you get this: https://s19.postimg.org/3ovzl8c5v/999dice16.png Followed by this: https://s19.postimg.org/uvs2qmyz7/999dice22_kopie.png We all know how it works; in this case I had to click on all imagines that had to do with boats and clicking in the right bottom: https://s19.postimg.org/gduvin7o3/999dice22_kopie.png And eventually you have got by one click free bitcoins, dogecoins, litecoins and ethereum: https://s19.postimg.org/6x0gy9yfn/999dice17.png Don’t worry the site is available in all kind of different languages. I have chosen English, although it isn’t my mother tongue so all of you could understand what I am talking about. You can change in the upper right corner. This is how it looks like: https://s19.postimg.org/ae74ezmvn/999dice21.png If you try to get more free coins before the five minutes are over you will get this: https://s19.postimg.org/5oh6qdvv7/999dice20.png Of course there is a maximum of free coins you can get: https://s19.postimg.org/mhcg2jxxv/999dice23.png This is how you play the game. Here you see the amount of coins you have: https://s19.postimg.org/8rhwtratv/999dice24.png If you want to play you need to click on bet: https://s19.postimg.org/4tun4co0j/999dice24.png Then this will appear: https://s19.postimg.org/95j8tcuxf/dice999_kopie.png Here you see with how many you are playing: https://s19.postimg.org/5afuqsbrn/dice999_kopie.png And with those buttons you can change the amount of coins you are betting with: https://s19.postimg.org/lzlw0fxqr/dice999_kopie.png You can also change it in here if you prefer: https://s19.postimg.org/4nljf049f/dice999_kopie.png Let’s say I bet with this amount: https://s19.postimg.org/63x1x576b/999dice25_kopie.png Then I make a bet by clicking on *’bet low’* or *’bet high’*, let’s say low: https://s19.postimg.org/vb7xxeaab/999dice25_kopie.png You then see if you have won or not. If it is green you won, if it is red you lost: https://s19.postimg.org/fr0k6v05v/999dice27.png if you want to see only your bets, you go to *’my bet’* https://s19.postimg.org/5i8311c43/999dice25_kopie.png There you will see only your bets: https://s19.postimg.org/7bazpcxar/999dice27.png You can even bet automatic: https://s19.postimg.org/od3trgc5v/999dice27_kopie.png https://s19.postimg.org/ybosdxllf/999dice28.png You can change the amount of coins you want to bet with (1) and you can change how many times you want to bet (2): https://s19.postimg.org/p7uyr89eb/999dice28_kopie.png If you put a number in maximum bet size the following will happen, in my case I put the number 10 in: https://s19.postimg.org/j877nkolv/999dice31.png you can also uncheck the *’reset to base after win’* and the *’reset to base after loss’* and you will get the following screen: https://s19.postimg.org/5sk6y4g43/image.png https://s19.postimg.org/9dg2hcknn/999dice32.png you choose everything and when you hit *’bet low’* or *’bet high’* you can see in *’my bet’* how many times you have won or lost. There is just two ‘buts’ when you want to withdraw the coins you won: you have to win at least a specific minimum AND you need to make a small deposit if you want to withdraw: https://s19.postimg.org/to9jkojgz/dice_999_kopie.png If you ever have a problem or a question, you go to contact and fill it in: https://s19.postimg.org/k2fz4dsb7/999dice18.png There is even a chat box if you are interested in talking to other people: https://s19.postimg.org/z4nm1bngz/999dice7.png Here is the [site]( https://www.999dice.com/?56269718) Hopefully you won as much as I did! bodyI couple of days I go I was searching if there was a possibility to earn free bitcoins and to my surprise I came across this: https://s19.postimg.org/lveaeyo43/999dice12.png https://s19.postimg.org/w7vj3xbbn/999dice.png At first I was skeptic it sounded too good to be true: free bitcoins, dogecoins, litecoins and ethereum. I don’t know anything of programming so I asked a friend of mine to look at the code to see if it was indeed a fair play or not: https://s19.postimg.org/f4sr8eumr/999dice3.png https://s19.postimg.org/68n11lac3/999dice4.png https://s19.postimg.org/jgmeuj7v7/999dice13.png https://s19.postimg.org/73e61d7kj/999dice14.png You can make an account so you can deposit or withdraw your profit: https://s19.postimg.org/j4zwknl3n/999dice5.png https://s19.postimg.org/tpew0cvwz/999dice6.png I didn’t want to deposit one of my coins that I had in my wallet, but to my first surprise I don’t needed to deposit any of them: https://s19.postimg.org/fphflyjkj/999dice15.png https://s19.postimg.org/xe4kzu5xv/999dice8.png https://s19.postimg.org/regtw6l5f/999dice9.png https://s19.postimg.org/a2ghaqro3/999dice10.png https://s19.postimg.org/v0mn8trir/999dice11.png If you click on *Claim Bitcoins Now’* you get this: https://s19.postimg.org/3ovzl8c5v/999dice16.png Followed by this: https://s19.postimg.org/uvs2qmyz7/999dice22_kopie.png We all know how it works; in this case I had to click on all imagines that had to do with boats and clicking in the right bottom: https://s19.postimg.org/gduvin7o3/999dice22_kopie.png And eventually you have got by one click free bitcoins, dogecoins, litecoins and ethereum: https://s19.postimg.org/6x0gy9yfn/999dice17.png Don’t worry the site is available in all kind of different languages. bodyA couple of days ago I was on national television. They wanted to make reportage of people who go up and talk to women, trying to pick them up. Through mutual friends they came to me. I am not an expert on this, nor do I see myself as a playboy. Back then I thought why not. It wasn’t the smartest idea I had. Normally I don’t make a big fuss about talking to girls; it is not that something bad can happen. The mistake I made was that those cameras had such big effect on me. I was nervous really nervous, most of them just kept walking and ignoring me. The ones that did stop I was acting like a creep. But let me tell you the whole story: ## **meeting the first time** Before the meet up with the presenter they wanted to know my story. To know if there was a deeper story that people could relate to. Then the editor came and talked to me to see and apparently he had to defend my point of view to his superiors. Eventually they decided I got a shot and then they could see if they proceed with it or not. So on broad daylight I met up with the presenter of the reportage and talked a bit on how I make the first contact. I was even nervous when I know they were going to film me and the moment the cameras were rolling I got even more nervous. I was shaking on my feet, it felt like the first time I started talking to a woman, except of the nausea. For the people who are wondering I don’t drink when I want to meet new people. https://s19.postimg.org/s8fy24t5f/medm_s1_afl04_003.jpg So after a 10minut interaction I had to perform. Walking up to women wasn’t the problem, but because I was so nervous I couldn’t be comfortable with the whole situation which resulted in back reactions. Not that anyone told me to f*ck off, but most conversations didn’t last long, less than a minute. The ones that did stop were almost always in a relationship so there it stopped for me although some wanted me to continue. I don’t see what for use it has. Normally I don’t care as much and would talk to them maybe I could have another great female friend in my social circle. ## **the next day** The day after our first meet up they wanted to follow me again. Apparently everyone was so impressed that they wanted to continue with me even though I failed tremendously. I wasn’t feeling great that can happen if you get rejected 15 times in 1 hour. But we agreed to meet up again the next day so I went for it. After an hour I said I want to stop for the day. In two days I almost got rejected 30 times. ## **clubbing** After those two horrible nights they wanted to film me when I was in a club. The two other days were on the streets. No matter what I tried I always got rejected. In my whole life i haven’t done this bad just because I was so nervous thanks to the cameras. I started with a wrong attitude: I wanted to show people how good I was, that I had to prove myself but that’s a wrong mindset. If you go out to meet new people always start with the mindset of having fun. https://s19.postimg.org/7029kpeoj/67229_Zrce_Beach_Clubbing_Tour_desc.jpg I kept failing over and over again and I don’t give up. There is always one person that will react well to you. This happens after I got rejected 5 times in the club, problem there was that someone came to us and screwed everything up. ## **one more day** They wanted to try one more day on the streets although it went a bit better, it still sucked big times. It was in this last day I came across like a creep. Jokes that went nowhere and the vibe was bad. You know by seeing people acting and reacting to each other how it went. Everyone has known a creep, never thought I would act that way but due the nervousness I was a creep. ## **the broadcast** Of course my friends were thrilled that one of their friends came on national television. After the broadcasting my friends were a bit angry on the presenter. She told the viewers a couple of times that my outfit wasn’t good enough. All my friends were complaining that she had said that 4 times. That the point of the reportage was: how to pick up women and not on how to dress nicely. Even my female friends were complaining about it. I don’t really get why. I wasn’t looking nicely so she made a comment on it, she was right. I agree that it maybe wasn’t so smart to mention it fore times, but why does it matter? I mean they wanted someone who shows them how to talk to girls, trying to pick them up. That my dress style isn’t great because I am obese it a fact. That I can change that is also a fact, only I have promised myself that I don’t by anymore clothes until I lost weight. ## **after the broadcast** Because I got rejected so many times and I didn’t picked a woman up people were laughing with me and some searched me on facebook so they could provoke me. For some reasons the majority were men. Of course the past days people recognized me more and I had one woman who said to me she liked what I did. She respected me more because I was honest with the girls I talked to show my intention without being disrespectful toward women. https://s19.postimg.org/47920oec3/5_seconds_of_fame_by_ojnab_d6kft4w.png Although I didn’t succeed as I thought I would and by that I mean even a conversation not really to go on dates or other things. I found it a really interesting experience. How many people can say they have met an national celebrity and were on national tv? And as far as the bad reactions goes; there will be always people who don’t approve what you do and those reactions will fade away after my 5 seconds of fame. Things come and go in life, so make the best of it without any regret. That’s how I see my experience of 5 seconds of fame. ## **my conclusion** Although it didn’t worked out as I hoped it would. I see that I have been walking a long path to where I am now. I know my first time I wanted to talk to a girl sober. When I was done talking to her, I had to sit down and recover for 10 minutes before. Do you know what I said to her? If she knew if there was another party somewhere. That’s it. Now I can go up to a girl tell her upfront why I am talking to her, start a small conversation and sometimes even get her phone number. Years of trying has gotten me to this point. I am thankful that friends of friends had given me the opportunity to show what I could do. I am grateful that I had an opportunity that most people don’t get. I believe everything in life is an opportunity to learn from, no matter how bad it is as long as you live and you learn great things are ahead of you. That’s what I believe in. the most important things is that although some experiences aren’t as great as you wanted them to be, never regret your choice but make the best of it. Until the next time Take care!

bodyOne of the things take I love to do is playing chess. I don’t know if there is anyone out there who play chess and how good they are. So I thought I made a post about it and how the things work. ## **The board** https://s19.postimg.org/e88ucvl3n/diagram_of_chess_board_setup.png This is how a chess board looks like. Most boards don’t have the numbers and letters to the side. The reason why they have it is because to write a chess play on paper so they could analyze every move they have made to learn from it for the next time. How you write it down that’s something I will tell you later. The thing you need to know is that the queens need to stand on their color they are made of: white queen on whit area and black queen on a black one. Also the right corner at the bottom needs to be white and the player playing white always starts the game. ## **chess pieces** I’ll discuss this short and to the point * **The rook** https://s19.postimg.org/5ehxvry4z/rook.png This peace stand at the corners and they can move vertical or horizontal. This peace is 5 points worth. * **The Knights** https://s19.postimg.org/g2loum843/knight.jpg This peace stands next to the rook. It moves are a bit complex comparing to the rest of the chess pieces: his move is in the form of an L. the L can be lying down or upside down or whatever, as long as it is in the form of an L. this means two steps straight and one to the side. This will makes it clear: https://s19.postimg.org/jc0412w7n/knight_moves.jpg * **The bishop** https://s19.postimg.org/fgwpyid1v/bisshop.png This peace stands next to the knights. It can move only diagonal and is 3 points worth just as the knight is. * **The queen** https://s19.postimg.org/l6cyitj83/queen.png This peace stands between the bishop and the king. The queen can move vertical, horizontal and diagonal. So everything what the other pieces can except from the knights. This piece is 9 points worth. * **The king** https://s19.postimg.org/gyi6a2hsj/king.png This one is standing between the queen and the bishop. It can move to all directions, but can move one step each time. This piece has no points; some say 0 points other infinity points. The thing is if you can take this piece, you have won. * **The pawn** https://s19.postimg.org/d3es7hymr/pawns.png This stand in front of all the other pieces that we already talked about. It is worth 1point each and they move up two spaces on their first move and subsequently moving them one space at a time. So now you know how all the pieces work and how much points they are. The points only matters if you play with not much time. So when the time is up and no one has won, you count the points. The one with the most points wins. ## **special moves** * **Castling** https://s19.postimg.org/jui8dn4pf/castling_1.jpg Castling is when you move the rook and the king towards each other and the moment the meet; they switch places as illustrated above. You have the long castling that is the first on the picture and the short one is the second on the picture if you read from left to right. It can only be done if: -The rook and the king haven’t move earlier -The king isn’t currently in check, nor on his way to do the castling -There are no pieces between the rook and the king * **En passant** https://s19.postimg.org/5o7jfj05v/en_passant.png This isn’t a well know phenomenon. A pawn must have just moved two squares. This move must have placed it adjacent to a pawn of the opposite color that could have captured it, had it moved one square. The opposite-color pawn moves to the place it could have captured the pawn that just moved. En passant must be performed immediately or not at all. Because it isn’t well-known this rule is mostly ignored or prohibited in tournaments. * **Pawn promotion** http://www.bestofchess.com/en/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/Pawn-Promotion.jpg When you can get with your pawn to the other side of the board then you can switch the pawn for knight, bishop, rook or queen. * **Check** http://www.chesscorner.com/tutorial/basic/check/checka.gif Check is when a piece can attack the opponent’s king. Not matter if it is the queen or just a pawn. If the king gets attacked then you have to tell your opponent this, if he haven’t seen it, by saying check. Then you need to make sure that you move your king into safety. * **Checkmate** https://www.chessclub.com/user/resources/rules/images/Checkmate2.gif Checkmate is when a piece attack the opponent’s king and no matter what the opponents king does he can’t get him to safety. If that is the case, then you have won the game. ## **writing a chess play** Every piece has his own letter. So that if I would write a play down and give it to you, you can play it thanks to my writing. Each move starts with the number and followed by the move that white makes followed by the move of black. If a piece takes another peace then an X follows. When the king is under attack you put the symbol + behind it and when it is mate you put # behind it. This is why the numbers and letters next to the board come in handy: all pieces are standing on an area and that area is designated with the letter followed by a number. When a king does a castling it will be written down as o-o for the short one or o-o-o for a long one. If you want to write en passent up the paper, you put (ep) behind the move. It seems all complicated but I will make more sense when I give a full example of a game. https://s19.postimg.org/4zb9gi1lf/schaken.png ## **tactics** This is the guidance every big player does: * **Middle** First you try to concurs as many areas of the middle. By doing so you make it harder for the opponent to put pieces there and it helps you with the last step of the tactic. * **Developing** This means that your break your bishop, knights and queen free from the pawns so that they can help you with the last step. * **Castling** Although not everyone does this, because some people think it is a ‘lost’ move most players do this. By castling you king is into safety and both roots are facing each other, which can help to either defend the king or help with the last step. * **Attacking** This is the last step. When you put all the pieces out there and your king is safe, then it is time to win the game. Don’t forget that your opponent is trying the same thing. ## **quick checkmates** I’m going to show you some plays that in a few steps you can win or lose the game. I am only going to show you how it looks like, then writing the play down, because it brings now value to this post by writing it down how it is played without seeing it. * **Scholar’s mate** http://www.chess-game-strategies.com/image-files/famous-checkmates_scholars-mate.gif That is how scholar’s mate looks like. One of the easiest things to prevent this from happening is (for the example above) to move the knight from g8 to f6. This fits also in the tactic, because you try to concur the middle AND you are developing it at the same time. * **Fools mate** http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_r3_TiE_UCUQ/R6YZOt0L6ZI/AAAAAAAAAAU/ED4WhkASEPM/s400/fools-mate.png Make sure that you never, ever put the pawns forward as you see above. If you never do this, then you will never get fools mate. Fools mate is only for the people who don’t use the tactic to concur as many areas in the middle of the board. I have giving you everything I know about chess and helped you on your way to make your first moves on the path to become a worthy chess player. I have given you tactics and even the quick checkmates so you have a guideline on what to do or not to do. If you want to practice all of this with an opponent then I suggest you go to [chess. com]( https://www.chess.com) maybe we play against each other. Until then, take care!

bodyhttps://s19.postimg.org/mmfa9h7df/ice_berg_illusion_kopie.jpg We all see what other people have and how easy it came to them and we think in ourselves that they are fortunate and we aren’t. That isn’t completely true: yes, some people get lucky or inherited wealth or genes of whatever. But the most people made it all by themselves, by doing the things they have to do to get there. Most of us don’t see how hard people work for it; they only see when people succeed. Just like an iceberg they see the top of it, not what is beneath it. So I will give some key points if you want to succeed and I will use steemit as an example for it. ## **dedication** https://s19.postimg.org/9wb1wdzf7/dedication.png If you want to succeed than you have to keep reminding you what your goal is. Make sure your goal is something that you can give people or that you like doing. If you do things for the wrong reasons it wouldn’t work. When you have found your goal be dedicated to it and see what the best way is to get there. If you just do the things for money, then sorry I have to bring it to you but it isn’t going to be a great success. Do you think that some professional athlete does it for the money? I don’t think so, many great athletes get rich if they win one title or succeed a couple of times and even after they have earned so much money that they don’t have to work anymore, the keep doing what they do because they love it. In terms of steemit: Why are you here? Is it because you wanted to earn easy money? Or is it because you want to share interesting things to people? There is a big difference between them. If you are here for money, then you will get a hard time earning them. If you are here because you have something interesting to say or you can help people with something then you might get rewarded for it. Do you want to know how you know which of the two you are? Answer me this: if you couldn’t earn any money with it; would you still be here and write posts? ## **hard work** https://s19.postimg.org/pj6wni2kz/hard_work.png When you determine your goal then to get there you will need to work hard for it. You will not get it on a silver platter. You will need to work hard and see if what you are doing brings your results. Also maybe you should learn more about what you want to tell the people, so research can be another factor has in terms of work you should do to get to your goal. Most people try shortcuts by promoting themselves of by taking from someone else, rather than working for it. If they don’t succeed they get frustrated and it turns out in being angry at the people who are successful because their success is an overnight success. In terms of steemit: Make an article and see for yourself what you can do better next time. In my case it went like this: Making a lazy introduction post, then learning how I could make pictures in my post, making a nice layout and I see that my post slowly get better than the previous one. The last post I made before this one I like it so much that I read it a couple of times and see my spelling mistakes I made, even big ones. ## **good habits** https://s19.postimg.org/yfhorft77/good_habits.png If you want to reach your goal, you need to see which habits can help you to get there and which ones need to be adapted. It all depends what your goal is. Good habits makes the work goes much smoother and doesn’t cause heavy stress. Make your habits work for you rather then against you. In terms of steemit: Depending on what your goal is here on steemit, you should see if there are habits you can change so it helps to get to your goal quicker. As a truck driver I need to take a break after driving 4hours and a half. My pause is 45minutes long: In the past I would have watch an episode of *the big bang theory* or *how I met your mother* now I can write another article for steemit or do some reading so I can fill in the blanks or understand the subject better before I make a post of it. ## **disappointments** https://s19.postimg.org/nh6f994lv/disappointed.png There are going to be times that you did so much and work so hard and you think you are going to accomplish it and then it doesn’t happen. Then you feel disappointment and start to question if you will ever accomplish your goals. When you feel disappointed then understand that it is part of the journey. In terms of steemit: Normally if you do it for the right reasons as I described above than you shouldn’t feel disappointment. You can only feel disappointment when you want to accomplish something and you didn’t get it. ## **sacrifice** https://s19.postimg.org/g2h3gviqb/sacrafice.png On your way to success, you will need to sacrifice things that you love to get to your goal. Some people work 15hours a day, so they could work and accomplish the things that bring them closer to their goal. Others use their free time to do stuff. Nobody want to make sacrifices, but if you want to reach your goal ask yourself: what is more important to me? My goal or the other thing? In terms of steemit: Depending on how your life is like, you sacrifice some small or big things in your life to be here. In my case I sacrifice my free time to work on post and read others post and vote for those I like or find interesting. Sometimes I do research for the things I don’t understand or want to know more off. ## **failure** https://s19.postimg.org/hislz0ln7/failure.png I can guaranty you that you will fail. Sometimes, sometimes not and when you fail you should see what you did wrong. What things you need to adapt and try again to see if it will work this time. You can fail a couple of times before you will see improvement. It is like Einstein once said: *’Insanity: doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result.’* In terms of steemit: You should try different things on here to see what works best for you. Sometimes you should try something unusually as I did with my [sex story]( https://steemit.com/story/@trimpy/steemit-s-first-erotic-story-18). Actually I am trying different things in my post to see how people react to it. As in this post I try more images in it. ## **persistent** https://s19.postimg.org/w39otuglv/persistence.png No matter how many times you fail how many sacrifices you make, all those disappointments, the hard work, dedication and good habit it all will be in vain if you don’t persist. Persistence is the raison why you will reach your goal. Learning from your failures will give you a bit of success, sacrificing give you more success, …. In the end only if you have persistence then all those previous things will fall into place. In terms of steemit: Keep doing what you do to get to your goal. I don’t know what your goal is, but if you ever want to reach it, if you ever want to be rewarded for it one way or another then keep doing it. That’s what I am planning to do anyway, keep posting so I can give back. Sometimes that means entertaining people with stories or pointing out the way they can follow if they choose to. If we pour all those things together we get this picture: https://s19.postimg.org/k2o8t4977/ice_berg_illusion.jpg It is an illusion that successful people have it easy. Maybe now when they have made it them have it easier than you, but they all worked for it. They all were committed to their goal and they were prepared to pay the price to get to it. That is something we all have to ask before we even start: the price I pay to reach my goal, am I prepared to pay it. If not don’t even start. If the answer is yes, then do it and know that those 7 things I talked about will happen, must happen to get it done. Until you decided to go for your goal Take care!

It is like Einstein once said: *’Insanity: doing the same things over and over again and expecting a different result.’*\n\nIn terms of steemit:\nYou should try different things on here to see what works best for you. Sometimes you should try something unusually as I did with my [sex story]( https://steemit.com/story/@trimpy/steemit-s-first-erotic-story-18). Actually I am trying different things in my post to see how people react to it. As in this post I try more images in it. \n\n## **persistent**\n\nhttps://s19.postimg.org/w39otuglv/persistence.png\n\nNo matter how many times you fail how many sacrifices you make, all those disappointments, the hard work, dedication and good habit it all will be in vain if you don’t persist. Persistence is the raison why you will reach your goal. Learning from your failures will give you a bit of success, sacrificing give you more success, …. In the end only if you have persistence then all those previous things will fall into place. \n\nIn terms of steemit:\nKeep doing what you do to get to your goal. \n\n\nIf we pour all those things together we get this picture:\n\nhttps://s19.postimg.org/k2o8t4977/ice_berg_illusion.jpg\n\nIt is an illusion that successful people have it easy. \n\nUntil you decided to go for your goal\n\nTake care!",

bodyIt is our default state to be happy and we all work to that goal, one way or another. We all want to be happy and so this whole ‘how to be happy’ will be separated in four parts: [The first is about my life](https://steemit.com/life/@trimpy/how-to-be-happy-part-i-my-life-s-story-so-far) [The second is just pure theory]( https://steemit.com/live/@trimpy/how-to-be-happy-part-ii-the-theory) [The third will be practical tips]( https://steemit.com/life/@trimpy/how-to-be-happy-part-iii-practical-tips) The fourth will be about self-reflection #### http://blog.slate.fr/sagalovitsch/files/2016/05/Happy-People.png In our quest to find happiness we came to the last post (oooh) and this will for me the toughest one to write. You have to do the reflection, I am only going to write a guide which you can follow if you want to. ## **being honest** Before I start with the guide, you need to be completely honest with yourself. Not with me, not with your boy/girlfriend, only you. That is the toughest part for you. Listen to your emotions, they always tell you if you are lying or not. As we have seen: happening -> thought -> emotions -> reaction So when I ask you something you will feel if you are lying or not. Never underestimate the power of emotions. Feel how your emotions change or doesn’t change. ## **limiting belief** The problem with limiting belief is that it’s like blocks building on each other. It always starts with a thought and the more evidence you find to support that thought it will become an opinion. Add more evidence that support your opinion and it will become a mentality and add again more evidence it will become belief. You can’t separate it from each other; they are really built to become your worldview. The evidence that we are talking about can be all kind of things: it can be things you heard, saw or read. It can even be if you keep thinking about it and find logical arguments that support your thought or opinion. Thoughts and opinions are fluid and in or conscious, but the mentality and the beliefs aren’t anymore and it is by those two that you see the world through. https://s19.postimg.org/p48ygc3v7/artikel.png The biggest problem with that is you can’t change mentality or beliefs by just saying it or come up with a bit of evidence to undermine the other person his mentality or belief. The only person who can change the subconscious of the other person is the other person himself. When he has knowledge of his worldview he can search for evidence that doesn’t support it any longer and has the evidence starts to sink in, slowly his subconscious changes and so does his worldview. You just have to see if that belief is helping you are not. If it doesn’t than it is a limiting belief and I recommend changing it in something that will help you that support you in your life. For example: if you have the belief that friendships doesn’t last long, then you can find evidence that undermine that belief and evidence that friendships does last long. ## **self-fulfilling prophecy** One of the things people do if they have a limiting belief is acting and reacting so that it will support the belief. Otherwise his world collapses and that is something we all try to avoid. So how do we make our self-fulfilling prophecy? https://s19.postimg.org/4y5ghg87n/limiting_beliefs_viscious_cycle.png Because we see the world through our limiting belief, our thinking is affected by it. Through our thinking we handle and because our thinking is affected so is our action, which lead to an experience that most likely causes pain and we see it as evidence to support our limiting belief. For example: I have a belief that women superior to men and they don’t deserve it. So I will treat women as that they are inferior to men and by doing so they react negative to me and so do my friends, which leads to my conclusion that women are superior because they act in some way and so do other people (my friends) just because they are women and the cycle is back from where I start. This is a good example of how the self-fulfilling prophecy works. As you can see the limiting belief is something that doesn’t make sense and the way they react to me is evidence of the thing that doesn’t make sense. So now how do we stop this cycle? Easy, we reframe it. So as in the example above I would reframe the *‘women are superior to men and don’t deserve it’* into *’women and men aren’t superior nor inferior to each other’* if I get a negative reaction back I can reframe *’ you see? Women think they are superior to men because other men do the same as they do’* in to *’maybe she has a bad day’* ## **self-reflection** The question is how do we know what are beliefs are and if they are inhibiting us or not? The best thing is that we ask our self questions and we analyze our actions. So if you acted in some way, then why did you do it? What were you thinking? Don’t forget our actions come from our thinking either conscious or unconscious. This is the toughest part for me. Because I don’t know you at all, so I can’t really get to know your worldview. But follow this diagram and you will get a good idea how your worldview is: https://s19.postimg.org/gbwl6e843/aricle.png You have to determine yourself that the way you act or react or think is a limiting belief or a downwards spiral as we have seen in my previous post. If you have a belief that people are here to get you, then you are going to be having a hard time to be happy. If you have a belief that people are here to help you and want to make your life for the better, then you have more change to be happy. I have given you the tools to make yourself happy. As I said in my first post I have read books and books on how to be happy because I wasn’t. I have shown you how we can reaction, how our brain works and how you can make a change in you thinking. I’ve talked about the quick fixes and the slow fixes, but I can’t do it for you, I only have shown you the way. If you want to walk the path of happiness, then it is your choice. Until you have made a chose, Take care!
