You open a notepad, and you keep starting at it for 16 min. &nbsp;At least that's what I do! and it's longer for some people and shorter for others. It's totally normal, everyone experiences it, even the best writers.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Here are some few tips to help you overcome the writer's block everytime. Write anything</h1>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>When starting, don't try to think about all the information you gathered and how you're going to put it all in one perfect long post, you will definetly get stuck. As will smith said, don't set out to build a&nbsp;perfect wall, instead, try to perfectly lay down one brick at a time. Start small. So, in our situation, write anything, start writing down the main titles. Now focus solely on the first title and forget all the other paragraphs, think as if you're only writing one paragraph. Start writing random words( related to the topic of course), now &nbsp;you have a sentence, continue writing. It doesn't matter if you make grammar mistakes or your phrases are not well formulated, just write. Soon you will have your first paragraph ready. Repeat this for every paragraph and boom you have a post. Save the editing for the end&nbsp;</h1>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sometimes writers constantly switch between writing fluently and editing/correcting words and phrases. This causes them to lose focus, thus they get&nbsp;stuck again. That's why experts recommend writing your whole article first. Ignore the mistakes and don't interrupt the flow of ideas. Save the editing until the end. Do not try to write the perfect word and the perfect sentence, trust me you'll have a hard time trying to write a perfectly&nbsp;coherent paragraph right from the start.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<h1>3. Talk it out</h1>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This sounds weird but it's so helpful. If you're having trouble writing a post, stop writing and try to talk about it as if you were explaining your chosen subject to&nbsp;a friend. What would you say? how would you say it? Get rid of distractions&nbsp;</h1>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Writing requires all of your attention. Create a space where there are few if any outside distractions. Turn off your phone, log out of social media accounts, leave a do not&nbsp;disturb sign at your door.</p>\n<p>If u have the four legged creature of cuteness(cat) like I do, this step just got to a different level of difficulty.</p>\n<p>Your goal is to have a quiet space where you can focus thoroughly on writing. Some people like to listen to soft music to help them enter a state of flow so they can write fluently. I personally love the rain and its sound calmes me and helps me focus, if you're like me, I highly recommend www.rainymood.com . Practice, Practice, Practice</h1>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As they say, practice makes perfect. If you're struggling to write 1 post in 2 days, you have to attribute more time to writing. Not necessarely steemit posts. Try writing few lines describing your surroundings, write about your date , write about how was your day (this is the easiest one, I do it all the time). Writing is like any other skill, if u devote enough time for it, you will simply get good at it. You'll start writing faster, and what took you 30 minutes to finish before, now takes you 10 minutes. You'll experience less and less blockage every time you write.</p>\n<p>If you're a serious about becoming successful on steemit you should practice more often and improve your skills. Don't expect to write 2 blogs and make tons of money, If you do, forget it, &nbsp;leave now and don't waste your time. This path has been followed by people for a very long time, which also adds the parents' expectations of their kids to be successful at their studies and never actually caring what they want to achieve in their lives, they just want to increase their self esteem by seeing their kid excel at the field they chose for him. This safe route is: go to college, meet a girl, graduate, get a 9 to 5 job ,(get an average salary which is the bribe they give you to abandon your dreams) marry that girl u met in college, 2 years later, have a child, after a while you start enjoying the weekends more and hating mondays, then you start hating your job. The thrill and excitment is no longer there, the job is giving you no joy, you're just there to pay the bills. and you lead a monotone, mediocre life and then you die having liced an average life, never achieving your full potential, never getting out of your comfort zone, never enjoying life. Everyday I read books, watched seminars, followed the steps of great people who changed the world. I satrted changing my life. Among the most crucial topics that faced was social conditioning, how it affects our behaviours and prevents us from living our lives the way we really want. Being influenced by great minds like Gary Vanynerchuck, Grant Cardone, Jim Rohn.., I started following their steps, leading me to my dream of becoming an entrepreneur, and college is not for entrepreneurs becuase they don't teach you how to build a business, how to do proper marketing nor how to invest your money. So, having set my goals and dreams and making a plan of what I wanted my life to be like, I decided that college is not for me so after 3 years of waisting my time I dropped out. Taking the decision wasn't easy, turning my back on society's standards and making my own path and of course parents' expectations didn't make it any easier. Right after quitting and having to deal with all the mental limitations that society has put on us. I was once again free, in control of my own destiny and it feels so good to be in command, to be the captain of your own ship and not having to follow a path forged by others. And so the adventure began, &nbsp;I've already been making bracelets for myself \"as a passion\", I now had the time to take things seriously and make a business out of what I loved to do, and indeed I did I started making bracelets and selling them and later on expanding the business even more. Being a businessman meant that I had to make different sources of income, so I started searching online on how to make money. I ended up setteling for desinging and selling t shirts online all over the world, it was very challenging , but I managed to be successful at it. I also was successful on some different projects I started, and now since I stumbled across steemit, I'm gonna focus more on it and on investing in crypto currency. You should go to college, get a degree and then search for a job.</p>\n<p>If u want to be free to do whatever you want in life, whether to be an entrpreneur, an artist, a super star... College is not necessary, you can skip it.</p>\n<p>As for parents, let your children decide. Yu may think they're still kids and can't make such decisions. I'm sorry you're wrong.
