It's like saying God should create every human from dust like Adam. Why not create a base, then set it in motion to generate more. Remember when He said, "Go into the world and multiply." Nobody said He didn't mean in population and in species as well. God has always seemed to like systems that self correct, adapt and repeat when needed. Like how the rivers flow into the ocean, and rain into the rivers, and repeat. Hw the earth keeps rotating around the same star. The work of a true creator. The same things humans are trying to replicate with memory metals, self healing roads and AI. An adaptive system. What better way is there to do that than an evolutionary system? I'm not saying life came to earth by chance. That's foolish. I'm not saying the universe was created by chance, that's senseless. The design is too perfect to be by chance. I just mean that the fact that we can explain them with science means somebody (God) designed them with a similar technique. Hence Einstein said his true goal was to understand God. Jesus said the tree that does not bear fruit shall die. The Bible also said his place shall be taken by another, about the traitor. Evolution takes a failing species, and from it creates one better adapted for life in a new world. |

We're supposed to believe that single celled organisms just appeared out of nothing. And that led to trillion cell organisms arising from that. It's hard not to say that with a smirk. | body | Considering that Kierkegaard's idea of the Leap of Faith is so much similar to Jesus' proclamation that happy are those who believe without seeing (John 20:29), I find it hard to understand why humans have decided that THINKING at all is an offence to God. This ultimately makes this my favorite of his quotes, "People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use." So, somebody tells you that to give any credence to evolution is an insult to God, or that evolution refutes theism without ever considering that evolution could actually be a tool, deviced by God to automate creation at some point. God could have vanished water to the Israelites, but he simply told Moses that there was water in a nearby rock, because from the beginning, he made the system very robust, putting Islands in the oceans, and oases in deserts. Evolution could be part of that robustness. Some see science as an alternative to Theism, when science, could actually just be the study of God's work in creation, an idea shared by Albert Einstein and many other notable scientists. We create conflicts because of our inability to see the common denominator in so many things in life. So, Christianity for example has become so greatly fragmented because people have decided to force their poor thinking on others. Then they tell their followers that thinking is offensive to God, simply as a tool to maintain their loyalty, born of ignorance. They tell you never to question man-made doctrines. Hence Jesus said in Mark 7:7, "So well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, just as it has been written: 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. And in vain do they worship me, teaching the doctrines and precepts of men.' For abandoning the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men, to the washing of pitchers and cups. And you do many other things similar to these." God gave man a very complex brain for a reason. Have a beautiful week. |

God could have vanished water to the Israelites, but he simply told Moses that there was water in a nearby rock, because from the beginning, he made the system very robust, putting Islands in the oceans, and oases in deserts. Hence Jesus said in Mark 7:7, \"So well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, just as it has been written: 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me. And in vain do they worship me, teaching the doctrines and precepts of men.' For abandoning the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men, to the washing of pitchers and cups. And you do many other things similar to these.\" God gave man a very complex brain for a reason. \n\n\nHave a beautiful week.",

| body | So, he starts a trade war so he can bully everybody into doing his bidding. If you don't understand, here's the point: If your government subsidises agriculture for example, so food can be cheap, they gotta take that out. Consequently, you're tempted to buy foreign, because that price advantage has been pretty much eliminated. In other words, the rich gets richer, and the poor gets poorer. Local companies are gonna get screwed in favour of foreign. Those that cannot compete fold up. In the end, the GDP of developing nations declines rapidly, while those of developed nations rise similarly. Trade deficits increase, currency depreciates, foreign debts increase drastically, & if you can't keep up, you're screwed. Soon we all need bail outs and we're making shady deals with the rich countries so we can at least have bread. The rest of G7 won't let it happen though. I'm just using it as a thought experiment. Lots of love folks. |

| title | Perspective of Life as a Function of Age. |
| body | Life is so simple & yet so complicated. All that matters is age. When you're a baby, you don't understand why your mother keeps trying to force bad tasting stuff (they call it food) into your mouth even when you're crying & spitting it out, & that jst confuses d hell out of you, because after they do it, dey smile & hug you & ur stomach even feels a lot better! Then you're about thirteen, your body starts to confuse you, & you just wanna run out of it -- thank God for home economics classes in school that teach about puberty. So, you think you've got problems, but then you get a bit older, & the whole world starts to confuse you, & you feel so damn lost. Like the more answers you get, the more questions arise -- even from the so-called answers! So, you realise there is probably no escape from this madness. And it's like, in Kendrick Lamar's words, "Mass hallucination", because all your peers are in the same boat. Then even as an old man, religion still tells you that you're gonna understand why you've been living all these while, after you die. So, we're always one step behind. However, in a sense, that's what makes this life so interesting. So, happy confused lives. Lots of love. |

| body | SCREENSHOT: VIDEO CLIP: https://youtu.be/z-Bz2QFEUfE DESCRIPTION : The app draws a circle half the radius of a parent circle on four points on the parent's circumference. One at the top, one at the bottom, one to the right, and one to the left. This continues until the size of the generated circles reach a radius limit. Tapping the top half of your phone screen changes the background color, and tapping the bottom half changes the line color. Hence, it's an interactive program. NOTE: I don't really know how much to tell you; so, for the sake of brevity I kept the description short. If you want more info, just post your question on the comments section. TOOLS: 1. An Android phone. 2. APDE (A Processing IDE for Android) or the desktop Processing IDE SOURCE CODE: float initialRadius; int radiusLimit; void setup() { initialRadius = 350; radiusLimit = 20; } void draw() { drawCircle(width/2,height/2, initialRadius); } void drawCircle(float x, float y, float radius) { noFill(); ellipse(x, y, radius, radius); if(radius > radiusLimit) { drawCircle(x + radius/2, y, radius/2); drawCircle(x -radius/2, y, radius/2); drawCircle(x, y + radius/2, radius/2); drawCircle(x, y -radius/2, radius/2); } } |

| title | COLORED BALLS USING PROCESSING |
| body |  I designed this with a very simple app I made using an Android Processing IDE called APDE, which uses the position of my finger on my phone screen to determine the color and position of each ball. Here's the entire code: int[] value = {50, 20, 150}; int[] pos = {20, 20}; void setup() { } void draw() { fill(value[0], value[1], value[2]); ellipse(pos[0], pos[1], 50, 50); } void mouseDragged() { for(int i = 0; i < 3; i++) { value[i] += 5; if(value[i] > 255){ value[i] = 0; } } pos[0] = mouseX; pos[1] = mouseY; } NOTE: By changing the initial values of 'value' and the rate at which the values change, you can change the colors obtainable. |

| body | I hear a lot of people say things like, "My happiness doesn't depend on anything or anyone." Seems very intelligent, bt dat's just something we all wish was true. Our happiness is always dependent on something or someone. It's our curse as living things. Happiness always has a source. Our whole lives are based on d pursuit of happiness -- ours or those of others, knowingly or unknowingly. All our lives consist of trying to obtain or retain those sources of happiness. You know when Westlife said, "Everybody's looking for that something."? I believe dey meant happiness. You could lose something today that would make your happiness vanish like magic. So instead of putting up a strong face dear, just look for the things and people in d background of your happiness and hold them dear. Have a nice day. LOTS OF LOVE. |

| title | DUAL POWER SUPPLY ARDUINO GAS LEAKAGE DETECTOR |
| body | <h1>MQ2 Gas Sensor Module</h1> MQ2 gas sensor can be used to detect the presence of LPG, Propane and Hydrogen, also could be used to detect Methane and other combustible steam, it is low cost and suitable for different application. Sensor is sensitive to flammable gas and smoke. Smoke sensor is given 5 volt to power it. Smoke sensor indicates smoke by the voltage that it outputs .More smoke more output. A potentiometer is provided to adjust the sensitivity. Sn02 is the sensor used which is of low conductivity when the air is clean. But when smoke exist sensor provides an analog resistive output based on concentration of smoke. The circuit has a heater. Power is given to heater by VCC and GND from power supply. The circuit has a variable resistor. The resistance across the pin depends on the smoke in air in the sensor. The resistance will be lowered if the content is more. And voltage is increased between the sensor and load resistor. <h2>MQ2 Module Schematic</h2> <h4>SPECIFICATIONS</h4> 1. Power Supply: 4.5V to 5V DC 2. High sensitivity to Propane, Smoke, LPG and Butane 3. Wide range high sensitivity to Combustible gases 4. Long life and low cost 5. Analog and Digital output available 6. Onboard visual indicator (LED) for indicating alarm 7. Compact design and easily mountable 8. Simple 4 PIN header interface 9. Drive circuit is simple. 10. Sensor Type : Semiconductor 11. Concentration : 300-10000ppm ( Combustible gas) 12. Supply voltage = 5v <h2>MQ2 Working Principle</h2> The MQ2 has an electrochemical sensor, which changes its resistance for different concentrations of varied gasses. The sensor is connected in series with a variable resistor to form a voltage divider circuit (Fig 1), and the variable resistor is used to change sensitivity. When one of the above gaseous elements comes in contact with the sensor after heating, the sensor’s resistance change. The change in the resistance changes the voltage across the sensor, and this voltage can be read by a microcontroller. The voltage value can be used to find the resistance of the sensor by knowing the reference voltage and the other resistor’s resistance. The sensor has different sensitivity for different types of gasses. Arduino nano <p>The circuit diagram above shows that Vin is connected to an internal voltage regulator, hence it can take 12 - 7V DC as supply voltage.</p> .png) <p>The arduino serial plotter is used here as an oscilloscope for callibration of the sensor. Note that we could use the analogue output of the MQ2 module only as a data source for the arduino serial plotter and use the digital output to actuate the buzzer. Doing that would require adjusting the variable resistor on the module for callibration. I actually used both (kinda). An LED on the module comes on when the digital output goes high. I adjusted this to come on under the same conditions the buzzer should on, hence eliminating the need for any extra indicator LEDs, or using the arduino built in LED.</p> <h1>Arduino Code</h1> #define SENSOR_ANALOG A5 #define BUZZER 10 #define THRESHOLD 100 //This value depends on what you are sensing #define DELAY 500 void setup() { Serial.begin(9600); pinMode(SENSOR_ANALOG, INPUT); pinMode(BUZZER, OUTPUT); } void loop() { int analogSensorReading = analogRead(SENSOR_ANALOG); Serial.println(analogSensorReading); if(analogSensorReading > THRESHOLD) { digitalWrite(BUZZER, HIGH); delay(DELAY); digitalWrite(BUZZER, LOW); delay(DELAY); }else { digitalWrite(BUZZER, LOW); } digitalWrite(BUZZER, LOW); } <p>If the information above does not satisfy your needs, you are 100% free to ask in the comments, and if you feel there is a feature that should have been added, feel free to point that out. It would make me feel good to know I've got folks with similar interests out there.</p> <p>Note: I do not guarantee this as an optimal commercial system. It is nothing but a hobbyist's test job.</p> |

As a guy who watched a lot of Kung Fu movies as a kid, I strongly believe in tai chi, which promotes using opposing forces to your advantage. Tech is not going away. It is here to stay. Technological development is an integral part of human existence. Instead of trying to pull your children away from tech, teach them to use it. By the way, what is it about sleep that "non-sleeping" scientists keep preaching about? If they slept their lives away, nobody would be listening to them in the first place. As a kid, staying up at night is a punishable offense, but believe me, it is a very helpful ability in the University and higher levels of your life. There are people who work hard day and night, & we celebrate their achievements. Who ever got a prize for sleeping 8 hrs consistently? If your kid likes gaming, teach them programming or graphics design. Changes are he enjoys the graphics of the game or the logic fascinates him. He likes social media, convince him to learn a real skill, and upload his work on his status often. It'll get him the popularity he wants, and get you the productive child you want. He likes math and social media, what a way to meet like minds. How do you think stackoverflow works? People like to teach others and showing off their knowledge, but they like doing things online and they lack their own websites; so, there's stackoverflow and steemit 😂. |
