| title | PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECTS OF WORKING AT FAST FOOD DRIVE THRU'S? |
| body | .jpg) As a McDonald's employee, I believe that working at the drive-thru (taking orders and money) can cause some serious psychological effects. This is an opinion. I do not say this for the reason that it's boring or an awful job but for the fact that I have noticed how it affects me. First, let me explain what goes on when working in the drive-thru. At my Mcdonald's, taking orders and money at the drive-thru can last for about six hours straight. There are times when there are no cars of course but most of the times, it is taking orders. You are repeating basically the same words for that time, for example, I say "Hi, may I take your order, please?" Then the person starts to say what they want and after each item of food they want, I 99.99% of the times say, "Anything else" or if I am feeling moody then, "ok?". And when they are done or I think they are done I say, "Is that all?" (Side Note)- I sort of master the ability to know when someone is done ordering depending on their tone of voice or words they use. Anyways just imagine saying that for about 6 hours to more than 50 cars. Also, don't forget about the many questions people ask. Throughout the day this same routine goes on and your emotions may change a lot. You might get annoyed, upset, happy, excited, "in love", etc. This can happen because the customers might order in a rude manner, ask annoying questions, do things that get you mad. Or you talk to someone really happy and friendly. Or you see a beautiful girl! (I have a crush on like 100 girls a day). All this obviously causes so many things to go through your mind. This can lead to a lot of stress and depression. For example, after a busy period passes and there are no cars for about 3 minutes, I tend to want to bang my head on the wall or punch the wall, like I have done before. I start acting foolish and talking to myself about random things. I make random noises that I would never make. And I start thinking about weird scenarios or random events that would not make sense. And I also tend to feel depressed. Having horrible thoughts. Maybe I am the only one that this happens to but it does not feel right. If this is a problem which many people experience it should be solved somehow. |

| title | (BLOG) LIFE II- I WENT INSANE AND BROKE MY PHONE |
| body | I said I was gonna post the day of the last blog but I did not. My day went horribly that day at school. I was supposed to be leaving at a certain time to head to a doctor's appointment. Once my step-dad arrived at the school I went to the office to ask them if I was able to leave, I was sent to the assistant principal to ask him. This principal is hated by everyone in our school, he is so rude and has no manners. He does not respect the students. He thinks he is a dictator! Anyways. I then went to ask him very respectfully. After asking him he said no and explained why. He tried to make a joke out of it by asking me, "do you like your house?" I said, "Yeah.". He then said, "well, I like my house too. I don't want to lose it because I let you out." He then started laughing. This got me so mad! First, I'm 18 years old. So why am I not able to leave a school (PRISON). He was basically mocking me and his laughed proved it. So I just left the office and called my step-dad and told him I was not able to leave even though he was waiting outside. I headed back to class. When I got home I was just so furious. I went outside, took a broom and I started hitting a rock with it. The broom then broke and I threw my phone on the floor with all my force. This of course damage the screen of my phone. Great, no phone now! I also had work that day and I did not go. I just stood home and played video games. I went insane that day. Today, I will be heading to work at 10 am. I hope everything goes well. |

It’s empowering to think that we common people have power to let go of the bridge on which the politicians are standing. | title | Recycling Computer Electronic- Do the Benefits Outweigh the Harm? |
| body | ### **My view** **BENEFITS** Recycling computer electronics benefits are greatly impactful and bring positive interest to today’s society. More importantly, this benefits Earth in many ways such as keeping the environment safe and clean. Besides the important benefits of Earth, recycling computer electronic is a perk for companies and consumers. On top of that this idea creates more jobs for people, which leads to having an economic impact on society. In addition, many more innovative benefits are developing on the daily as a result of recycling these components. **SAFE AND CLEAN** Keeping our environment safe and clean should ideally be the first priority for us for the reason that we inhabit within it. Recycling computer electronics does this in many ways, for instance, it prevents hazardous chemicals from escaping into the land or air. When these dangerous chemicals are spilled throughout the environment, this can cause difficulties, for example, health complications. This also causes other species to be endangered and can lead to specific ones to be extinct. Recycling these components avoids these problems by obtaining the computer electronics and storing them so that they are able to be reused whenever. **CHEMICALS** Not recycling computer electronics can cause very hazardous chemicals such as mercury, lead, nickel, zinc, and cadmium to be spread through the environment. These chemicals can affect anyone or anything at any given moment. For instance, mercury can lead to many symptoms in a person like insomnia, tremors, and it can even lead to death. If computer electronics are not recycled this can occur for the reason that the electronics can be thrown anywhere which leads to the chemical being spilled. Many chemicals often end up in the sea and it endangers water species and even humans that use the water. Recycling computer electronics disregards these dangerous events to occur. **ECONOMY** Additionally, recycling computer electronics leads to having a positive impact on the economy. This leads to many more jobs to be created for people. Some jobs may be such as collecting the electronics to storing them safely. In the same way, recycling can benefit companies or consumers. One way it can aid the consumer, by being able to buy cheap electronics for the reason that it has been ‘refurbished’. This also makes it more affordable for vendors since they just have to buy the electronic parts instead of having to mine them. Ultimately, recycling computer electronics can have a positive impact on us. Recycling will lead to a safer and cleaner world. It will also avoid many health problems and keep 8.7 million species safe. Recycling will economically impact us, therefore, making it cheaper for the consumer and the companies. In conclusion, recycling computer electronics will benefit humanity and earth. |

| title | (Blog) Time I |
| body | 6:00 am Today I woke up with a really active mind! I woke up thinking of new ideas for apps. Of course most of them are already made. I also did some pushups! As the days go by you might notice changes with my mindset. I tend to have a hint of maybe bipolar disorder. My mood changes like every other week. I’m either motivated or overthinking my life and not wanting to do anything. I been trying to work on this by viewing my life from a third perspective. This means that I try to be aware throughout the day about how I’m feeling, what I say, my actions, etc. My first post talks about this philosophy. Anyways, its been working but there might be a day where I just want to disappear. (By the way, I won’t harm myself) The thought goes to my mind though from many reasons. But I’m working really hard to stay motivated each day and fight the day. Now I’m going to be getting ready to head to school so I will be posting another one of these later on. Have a nice day! |

| body | Let me introduce myself. My name is Victor Rodriguez and I’m 18 years old. I’m currently still in high school, I will be graduating in a couple of months. I like to describe my life as a usual one but with hidden spots. I have a passion for reading and trying to make new ideas. I like to consider myself as a pre-entrepreneur. My goal in life is to do something big with my life and change people’s lives. Currently I’m a young lost soul trying to find its purpose in my life and it just seems impossible. Everyday I wake up trying to think of a new idea and trying to see if it would work. After that I head to school as a Senior with the same mentality and I go through it. Then finally depending on the day, I head to the best job in the world. McDonald’s. So what will I be on Steemit? I will be releasing all my thoughts. Thank you. |

| title | DISTANT WORLDS I |
| body | .jpg ) ## **John & Anna** After a long day of work, John gets home. He gets out of his car and starts walking towards the entrance of the house. He goes to open the door but before he grabs the doorknob he looks at the sky and breathes heavily. Then he opens the door slowly and gets in. He closes the door behind him and sees his wife Anna sitting down at the dining table. Anna looks at him and smiles weakly. Her face expresses a grim look. "How was your day sunshine", John says with half a smile. "I've had better days", Anna says. John makes his way to the chair next to Anna. He pulls out the chair slowly and sits down. He grabs Anna's hands and stares at her. "Darling, we have to do this today or our daughter will be...killed" #### The Venovis Act was introduced in the year 2030 for the entire world after the population reached its "limit". In this world to have a child someone in the family has to sacrifice themselves because of the Venovis Act made by the government. If the child is born and no one decides to sacrifice themselves, the child will be killed. |

| body | You seem to have a great point and I sure agree that "Democracy is a sugar-coated knife". Democracy is true to be a hoax. Democracy can be used for many things, such as corruption. Of course, this happens nowadays with the United States system and maybe it's not as visible to us but it goes on behind the scenes. Many people don't seem to notice. Here is where I see Democracy in a positive way. It can be seen as a bridge where "the people" hold the two ends of it while the "government and powerful" are on it. Ultimately we have the ability to let go of the bridge. |

| title | Should Animals Be Used for Scientific or Commercial Testing |
| body | .jpg) Here is my view **ANIMALS FOR TESTING** The scientific or commercial test on animals should continue. This practice is very important to humankind. It allowed for many individuals and generations to be saved. It lets us understand the world and life in general. It leads to many discoveries such as vaccines, new chemicals, and substances that we are able to use for ourselves. If it was not for these scientific or commercial testing on animals we would not have much of what we have now. **MEDICAL DISCOVERIES** Many medical breakthroughs had happened because of testing on animals. An example of this can be the removal of the pancreas on dogs, this allowed the discovery of insulin. This was important for saving lives of diabetics. Another example is the polio vaccine. Animals were tested with this vaccine and from this, the disease world wide diminish by 99.9% from 1988 to 2016. ”The polio vaccine, tested on animals, reduced the global occurrence of the disease from 350,000 cases in 1988 to 27 cases in 2016.”(Procon). An important one was the vaccine for Hepatitis B which was successful because of the testing on chimpanzees. Without the ability to test on animals many people would suffer. Not only does testing on animals find vaccines but it aids with the research of brain injury, tuberculosis, and even cancer. **SIMILAR RESULTS** Testing on animals such as the chimpanzees and mice produces similar results compared to humans. Chimpanzees share most of their DNA and mice are genetically nearly similar to humans. “Chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans, and mice are 98% genetically similar to humans.”(Procon). Not only that, but all mammals have similar ancestors, this includes humans of course. They also have equal sets of organs such as the lungs and kidneys. Biologically, humans and animals are similar which lead to the same illnesses. Some of these may be, diabetes or cancer. This allows for the tests to create similar results as it would produce on a human. Even though testing is done on animals, the animals themselves are treated if they have illness or diseases. This allows for animals in the verge of extinction to be saved. FAIR TREATMENT Even though we do test on animals, they are treated humanely. Not only is this to produce reliable results but for the care of the animal. Animals that are being researched are taken care of carefully. Not only by the researchers but specialized people such as veterinarians and animal health professionals.”Research animals are cared for by veterinarians, husbandry specialists, and animal health technicians to ensure their well-being and more accurate findings.”(Procon). These procedures are follow for the animals sake. Also to follow the regulations of the Animal Welfare Act. The animals need minimum housing standards and even access to safe food and water. This is possible because veterinarians are required to do regular inspections. **CONCLUSION** At the end of the day, testing on animals is required for the survival of humanity. It had saved many humans and animals themselves. Lead to many new medical discoveries which decreases the death rate caused by illness and diseases. Made sure that chemicals we might use for humans are safe and can be use commonly without any dangers. The animals that are tested are well cared of and treated humanely for their sake. We understand that animals are important and we do as much as possible to treat them fairly. They have contributed to many new discoveries in the medical field which allowed for the saving of millions of lives. _Works Cited_ _(PROCON)“Should Animals Be Used for Scientific or Commercial Testing?” Should Animals Be Used for Scientific or Commercial Testing?, animal-testing.procon.org/._ |

| body | __________________________ .jpg)__________________________ **[I need feedback]** Rainy, and cold. Street lamps light up the busy streets of London. Here, I stand in the middle of a crowd of everyday people going about their everyday lives. As I look up into the grey skies, it seems that the skies reflect what we are facing. Just a grey, emotionless, and numb society. Nothing special. What if I told you, I was born in the wrong time period? What if you told you, I had the wisdom, the knowledge to living better than a just an everyday life? Think I’m crazy? Well, here’s my story. And here are the lessons I have learned and will share with you. You see, humans are very interesting life forms but at the same time, they’re highly destructive to themselves and others. This makes humans weary of ourselves and everyone around them. This builds stress, trust issues, and unhealthy relationships if we are not careful. In order to avoid these problems, we have to first reach within ourselves and bring out our best to share with others. Humans require only the basic of needs. Yet, there are people living in grand housing, or people complain about there not having enough of something. For example, money. People even gossip about each other constantly. And for what? Attention? Status? |

Well, here’s my story. And here are the lessons I have learned and will share with you. \n\nYou see, humans are very interesting life forms but at the same time, they’re highly destructive to themselves and others. This makes humans weary of ourselves and everyone around them. This builds stress, trust issues, and unhealthy relationships if we are not careful. In order to avoid these problems, we have to first reach within ourselves and bring out our best to share with others.\nHumans require only the basic of needs. Yet, there are people living in grand housing, or people complain about there not having enough of something. For example, money. People even gossip about each other constantly. And for what? \nAttention? \nStatus?",

| body | What if I told you that there are hidden secrets within us and our thoughts. Nobody seems to understand what our words mean but as the story keeps unfolding, the water becomes more clear. Our society seems to be a pattern, a formality, path, course which we have to follow. Not because we are forced to it but for the reason that we get accustomed to it. We have to follow guidelines and procedures throughout life. We as kids learn to be like others, we learn from what we see and apply it to our lives. We like to feel like we are part of something, we like to feel an importance which cannot be really explained. As humans, it is one of the top feelings we love to have. Understanding why our society follows these guidelines is an important piece. Well, it is very simple. Someone created everything and he left it so it ran its self. Most individuals let nature run its course. This means that humans like doing what already is set up for them and we follow those paths already created. Why wouldn’t we? It is the easiest way to get through life and enjoy it. Maybe this might be our purpose in life. To wake up, get to a place, leave the place, go back home, and restart. Of course, it is why would it not be? We just take what is presented in front of us. We follow that path already created for us. We abide rules and actions that are supposed to be for us. Are these paths really for us though? So why do we follow them? The mindset we should have is that we should create our own patterns and lives. Do more than expected of you and you will see the outcome. |
