| body | --- *The interpretations of animal spirits provided in this Ocean Fauna series are completely derived from my own perspective and exclusively written in my own original words. General knowledge about the animals presented in my series is based on a deep personal interest in the world of fauna honed over more than a decade. Feel free to enjoy this series and leave comments if you like.* --- --- <h1>***The fish spirit***</h1> ***Mode of life:*** Each fish species lives in its own aquatic sphere depending on the individual needs: water quality, oxygen level, salinity, light and food are the factors which define a species' life. Most fish species are cold-blooded, which means that they don't have a constant body temperature but adjust to the water temperature. Usually, fish become more active the warmer the water is. By means of their gills, the fish lungs, they are able to filter oxygen from water whereby they rhythmically open and close their fishmouth so that the water can flow through their gills. Fish are equipped with lateral, dorsal and caudal fins, and more often than not they are colorfully clad in shimmering scales. The skeleton is typically made of flexible fishbones. Many fish species have a sixth sense in shape of holey lateral lines which they can use to follow vortices produced by fleeing prey or to keep the right distance to other aquatic dwellers. Fish smell the substances dissolved in water, allowing them to remember scent and taste of the water stretch they were born in. In this way they can find back to their roots. Fish don't copulate directly but indirectly, which means that conspecific male and female fish meet at spawning sites while the eggs being layed remain suspended in the open water. There are many reproductive rituals and possibilities of caring for fish spawn, which at first evolve into tadpoles before they become the actual fish. --- <center><table><tr><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXVAN4WsDkucTkanrgy64aoVfB3Pytfi4zQ856HjP1F9n/image.png</td><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRYjAxmfHfscgsGdFvY8W7XuUYaARoRehLAa6LQpCiiHh/image.png</td></tr></table> --- ***Spiritually light aspects:*** Fish connect us with our emotional life, dedication to ourselves and abundance. In snyc with the pelagic underground water flows the fish guides us through the low and high tides of life and allows us to succumb to our own Heart currents so as to harmonically surf emotional waves washing over us. Fish open the floodgates into our very own sixth sense with which we can immediately perceive subtle energies, convenient streams and potential tsunamis in our own inner emotional aquarium and act accordingly to always maintain our sea level in balance. Fish invite us to dive into the exploratory whirlpool of conducive rites and manners to discover new ways of exchanging energies and experiencing yet dormant life facets. Being able to find back to their roots by means of olfactory water analysis, they encourage us to \"fish out\" our waterproof primordial faith and dance with instead of against the capricious ocean opera, henceforth leading us to the richness of life.\n\n---\n---\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n1. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQdGt2iyoaxqXsXkeEmKshwzD2z4rH3qutfWyEZb7dMSb/image.png\n\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n2. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVxxuceo23NugEad3EJJngYnMjZx4GY6sDUaxsQ3bNQLV/image.png\n\n\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n3. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmcbLRJQTSgz9D5ztxt6iApiLoACu6etYvUm8nizbWG7wS/image.png\n\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n4. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRYjAxmfHfscgsGdFvY8W7XuUYaARoRehLAa6LQpCiiHh/image.png\n\n\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n5. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmRJ8uQESoZg98McvA3tVorGt3rdoPTeXddvioGuv8vDAa/image.png\n\n\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n6. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSEKJY171PuezYHJtqo966avP86y38oVhapGYMi81uCs8/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n\n---\n---\n\n***Spiritually dark aspects:***\nWhen not in balance, fish can display coldness and existential fears. If we neglect emotional catharsis and don't wash out toxic emotions held for too long our inner aquarium water will become murky and grow noxious weed the parasitic nature of which slowely but surely declares independence from its host, our physical body. The continuous emotional dis-ease consequentially prompts bodily disease. Naturally, the longer we then ignore the emotional root of our physical discomfort the more we will drift into groping in the dark as to how ultimate healing is ought to take place. At its base people in such a condition lack the feeling of being taken care of and loved while the vivid luxuriancy in all creations largely escapes their notice.\n\n---\n\n\n\n\n\n---\n\nEnjoy your day, \n\n***Waterdroplex***\n\n---\n\n***All images: Pixabay***",

| body | --- *The interpretations of animal spirits provided in this Ocean Fauna series are completely derived from my own perspective and exclusively written in my own original words. General knowledge about the animals presented in my series is based on a deep personal interest in the world of fauna honed over more than a decade. Feel free to enjoy this series and leave comments if you like.* --- --- <h1>***The coral spirit***</h1> ***Mode of life:*** Corals are sessile cnidarians dwelling the ocean floor particularly in tropical belt regions. In terms of growth form there needs to be differentiated between soft corals and hard corals. The latter have a hard calcium-based skeleton which forms the bulk of a coral reef-structure, hence they are also called stony corals or reef-building corals. Usually, the skeletons have plant-like branches at the tip of which colourful coral polyps like anemones or jellyfish attach themselves. Most often it is these polyps which lead people to falsely believe that corals are submarine flowering plants. Corals mainly feed on endosymbionts, i.e. symbiotic algae (zooxanthellae), whose photosynthesis metabolism is perfectly dovetailed with the coral nutrient balance, and they are the primary reason behind the intense colour in the vivid coral tissue. Partially, corals also filter microplancton, nutrients and trace elements from the marine water stream. Space and sunlight are vital needs for the coral growth so that all corals, whether within the same species or not, compete with each other for most rapid growth. --- <center><table><tr><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQZ7Q7H52pect3km46XdL6eChH3EzPWUReafpicJkarvb/image.png</td><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmd6Fv3qAiqnHS3BuZHU8cWFg745HgSKs1pe53MbzkPKVm/image.png</td></tr></table> --- ***Spiritually light aspects:*** Corals demonstrate cooperation, support, beauty of diversification and the power of the subconscious. The corals' vivid colorplay is a result of symbiosis, hence the coral teaches us that complementing each other by means of unifying our strengths allows us to shine our unique essence the brightest. There is no need to be flawless. The coral teaches us that we are flawless with our flaws. Having deficites is not a weakness but a call to explore the potency of cooperation, and there is nothing wrong with that because ultimately we are all one. As stony corals serve as stable foundations for polyps, they also encourage us to ground ourselves so that we can provide emotional and spiritual support to those around us. By sustaining a steadfast fundament for everyone we will help them to traverse hardships and transits more harmoniously. As one of the oldest sea-dwellers appearing like submarine flower gardens to the Human eye, coral reefs remind us that quality and longevity of our desired manifestations are honed in our inner subconscious garden of emotions, which therefore requires our dedicated attention. --- --- <div class="pull-left"> 1.https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQPB7gUB1beURsaTi86KxLkMnVdhRcpw9iZ3xx47A2NxS/image.png <div class="pull-left"> 2. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXQyy9wfSs7txM9od93HhMbJzCDfkxmgPKcHnYXRc63aR/image.png </div> <div class="pull-right"> 3. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaWnfAJ4Fp1oQVjp96zkZdSM83Wf125iCmjakwkx9eURU/image.png </div> </div> <div class="pull-right"> 4. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUGDM8kQMqXEZBoSA6K88Pu75omGgVwfF9CP1GfYCToPd/image.png <div class="pull-left"> 5. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSoyXWj8CxSn8WJq2gVSc7hWg15psdMm6ZccCipos5Wju/image.png </div> <div class="pull-right"> 6. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYGLkXa5RypeJrUuXGekpB9Wn2nrRuNHqe7SRneyzaaMZ/image.png </div> </div> --- --- ***Spiritually dark aspects:*** With the coral as our spirit animal, we might be more easily prone to slipping into a no-holds barred survival instinct mode when we consider our territorial scope of expression to be jeopardised. Just like rapid growth of a coral allows it to shadow their conspecifics, which leads to their death, an obsession for expansion might entail envy when somebody else flourishes in a way we would like to experience it for ourselves. We become chronic begrudgers who principally don't grant others something we don't have. We always focus on what we don't have but never on what we have, creating an aura of lack instead of abundance. The fact that in extreme cases corals even develop stinging tentacles to kill off reachable tissue of competing corals is reflective of envy controlling us to such an extend that we act destructively against those thriving. Overly controlling others is always indicative of a loss of control over ourselves, and if we don't create balance in this respect we will inevitably end up doing things we might regret one day. --- --- ***About me:*** I am a passionate blogger who lost access to his original Steemit account. As stony corals serve as stable foundations for polyps, they also encourage us to ground ourselves so that we can provide emotional and spiritual support to those around us. By sustaining a steadfast fundament for everyone we will help them to traverse hardships and transits more harmoniously. As one of the oldest sea-dwellers appearing like submarine flower gardens to the Human eye, coral reefs remind us that quality and longevity of our desired manifestations are honed in our inner subconscious garden of emotions, which therefore requires our dedicated attention.\n\n---\n---\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n1.https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQPB7gUB1beURsaTi86KxLkMnVdhRcpw9iZ3xx47A2NxS/image.png\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n2. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXQyy9wfSs7txM9od93HhMbJzCDfkxmgPKcHnYXRc63aR/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n3. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaWnfAJ4Fp1oQVjp96zkZdSM83Wf125iCmjakwkx9eURU/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n4. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUGDM8kQMqXEZBoSA6K88Pu75omGgVwfF9CP1GfYCToPd/image.png\n\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n5. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSoyXWj8CxSn8WJq2gVSc7hWg15psdMm6ZccCipos5Wju/image.png\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n6. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYGLkXa5RypeJrUuXGekpB9Wn2nrRuNHqe7SRneyzaaMZ/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n\n---\n---\n\n***Spiritually dark aspects:***\nWith the coral as our spirit animal, we might be more easily prone to slipping into a no-holds barred survival instinct mode when we consider our territorial scope of expression to be jeopardised. As one of the oldest sea-dwellers appearing like submarine flower gardens to the Human eye, coral reefs remind us that quality and longevity of our desired manifestations are honed in our inner subconscious garden of emotions, which therefore requires our dedicated attention. --- --- <div class="pull-left"> 1.https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQPB7gUB1beURsaTi86KxLkMnVdhRcpw9iZ3xx47A2NxS/image.png <div class="pull-left"> 2. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXQyy9wfSs7txM9od93HhMbJzCDfkxmgPKcHnYXRc63aR/image.png </div> <div class="pull-right"> 3. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaWnfAJ4Fp1oQVjp96zkZdSM83Wf125iCmjakwkx9eURU/image.png </div> </div> <div class="pull-right"> 4. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUGDM8kQMqXEZBoSA6K88Pu75omGgVwfF9CP1GfYCToPd/image.png <div class="pull-left"> 5. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSoyXWj8CxSn8WJq2gVSc7hWg15psdMm6ZccCipos5Wju/image.png </div> <div class="pull-right"> 6. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYGLkXa5RypeJrUuXGekpB9Wn2nrRuNHqe7SRneyzaaMZ/image.png </div> </div> --- --- ***Spiritually dark aspects:*** With the coral as our spirit animal, we might be more easily prone to slipping into a no-holds barred survival instinct mode when we consider our territorial scope of expression to be jeopardised. "body": "\n\n---\n\n*The interpretations of animal spirits provided in this Ocean Fauna series are completely derived from my own perspective and exclusively written in my own original words. General knowledge about the animals presented in my series is based on a deep personal interest in the world of fauna honed over more than a decade. Feel free to enjoy this series and leave comments if you like.*\n\n<h1>***The coral spirit***</h1>\n\n***Mode of life:***\nCorals are sessile cnidarians dwelling the ocean floor particularly in tropical belt regions. Space and sunlight are vital needs for the coral growth so that all corals, whether within the same species or not, compete with each other for most rapid growth.\n\n---\n\n<center><table><tr><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQZ7Q7H52pect3km46XdL6eChH3EzPWUReafpicJkarvb/image.png</td><td>https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmd6Fv3qAiqnHS3BuZHU8cWFg745HgSKs1pe53MbzkPKVm/image.png</td></tr></table>\n\n---\n\n***Spiritually light aspects:***\nCorals demonstrate cooperation, support, beauty of diversification and the power of the subconscious. As one of the oldest sea-dwellers appearing like submarine flower gardens to the Human eye, coral reefs remind us that quality and longevity of our desired manifestations are honed in our inner subconscious garden of emotions, which therefore requires our dedicated attention.\n\n---\n---\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n1.https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQPB7gUB1beURsaTi86KxLkMnVdhRcpw9iZ3xx47A2NxS/image.png\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n2. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXQyy9wfSs7txM9od93HhMbJzCDfkxmgPKcHnYXRc63aR/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n3. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaWnfAJ4Fp1oQVjp96zkZdSM83Wf125iCmjakwkx9eURU/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n4. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUGDM8kQMqXEZBoSA6K88Pu75omGgVwfF9CP1GfYCToPd/image.png\n\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">\n5. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmSoyXWj8CxSn8WJq2gVSc7hWg15psdMm6ZccCipos5Wju/image.png\n\n</div>\n<div class=\"pull-right\">\n6. https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYGLkXa5RypeJrUuXGekpB9Wn2nrRuNHqe7SRneyzaaMZ/image.png\n\n\n</div>\n</div>\n\n---\n---\n\n***Spiritually dark aspects:***\nWith the coral as our spirit animal, we might be more easily prone to slipping into a no-holds barred survival instinct mode when we consider our territorial scope of expression to be jeopardised. | body | ***Mode of life:*** Corals are sessile cnidarians dwelling the ocean floor particularly in tropical belt regions.
