It’s been a while since I last wrote here, and I’m finally pushing myself to do it again. Work has kept me unusually busy over the past eight months, which also meant fewer photo walks and less material to share. Hopefully that changes now as I honestly do miss creating and sharing content.\n\nA few days ago I spent an afternoon in the city center, and I was lucky enough to catch a strange weather phenomenon. The sky turned a fiery orange, as if the sunlight had dissolved into the clouds themselves.       "body": "It has been a long time since I last shared photos from one of my regular break spots — Torgau. Lately I have been there a bit less often, but there was a time when I visited this place very regularly because we had many deliveries there. My dad even used to joke that I probably had my own summer house there. 😁 The number of deliveries in Torgau decreased and because of that my visits there became less regular as well.\n\nNevertheless every single time I stay there overnight, I still go to my favorite place by the lake. This week the qurator’s contest theme is “peaceful”, so I thought my sunset shots from Torgau would fit the topic perfectly. For me, this place always radiates an incredible sense of peace and harmony.\n\nI really enjoy spending weekends there and going for an evening walk by the lake while admiring the beautiful sunsets every single time. It is a moment when I can slow down, sit on a bench and simply think for a while.       "body": "I'm currently on holiday with my wife at Centre Parcs in (Whinfell Forest) Penrith for a bit of a break. I've taken the opportunity for a wander and got some great shots of red squirrels and birds, and people on a zip wire, but I've been itching to get out and take some shots of the centre at nght.\n\nI almost went out Tuesday night but that was nixed as my battery had run out!
