Lo ideal es aplicar la flor de cayena en forma de gel: triture cuatro hojas de la mata de cayena roja, sin usar la flor; colóquela en media taza de agua, y deje reposar por media hora hasta que suelte una gelatina. Luego cuele y aplique el gel sobre el cabello limpio y mojado; no debe retirarlo.\n\nTambién, puede preparar un champú casero para lograr una melena fuerte y radiante: licúe dos tazas de hojas y cogollos de cayena en dos tazas de agua; aparte, hierva a fuego lento ½ panela de “jabón azul” rallado en la misma cantidad de agua, hasta que se disuelva; mezcle ambas preparaciones y luego úselo regularmente.\n\nDe igual forma, es bueno saber que la flor de cayena es reconocida por el efecto que tiene para combatir el insomnio y calmar los nervios; ya sea con baños de infusiones, esta milagrosa planta es el sedante natural más recomendado.\nAsí por ejemplo: corte las hojas y flor, déjelas remojar en agua por 15 minutos o hasta que desprenda toda la sustancia babosa que posee; proceda a colarla y agregue agua tibia. Destine el líquido obtenido para enjuagar todo el cuerpo después de su acostumbrado baño. No solo tiene un efecto relajante, sino que ayuda a aliviar dolores musculares y de la columna vertebral.\n\nPara infusión, vierta dos o tres flores en medio litro de agua hirviendo. Déjelas reposar tapada durante unos 10 minutos y cuele. Puede darle sabor agregando unas gotas de limón y endulzar con miel de abejas. Agrega agua caliente a una taza en la que habremos puesto una cucharadita de hojas secas de orégano, tapa y deja reposar 3 minutos. Después colamos y bebemos poco a poco cuando se temple.\n\nEn general, el orégano es una planta medicinal muy beneficiosa para afecciones del aparato respiratorio debido a su efecto antiinflamatorio, analgésico y antiséptico. Realiza bahos o baños con unas gotas de aceite esencial de orégano.\nPrepara un aceite de orégano o diluye el aceite esencial de romero en aceite base (de almendras dulces, argán, coco, oliva) y masajea las zonas con artritis, reuma, dolores musculares, lumbago, ciática, traumatismos (sin heridas abiertas), luxaciones, etc. para mitigar los dolores y estimular la mejora.\n\nEl orégano es una planta que estimula la circulación de la sangre tanto utilizado de forma externa como interna.\nSi tienes problemas de gases y flatulencias, además de que el orégano contribuirá a prevenirlo, te ayuda a eliminarlos y aliviar sus molestias. Tómalo en infusión después de las comidas.\n\nPodemos utilizar la infusión de orégano de forma externa para limpiar heridas, llagas, picaduras de insectos, etc.\nAlivia los casos de tos realizando gárgaras con la infusión tibia de orégano. También puedes combinar el orégano con tomillo. Podemos mejorar los casos de retención de líquidos con la infusión de orégano.\n\nEl orégano podría estimular la producción de estrógenos, hormonas femeninas que se reducen durante la menopausia.\nPara los casos de fiebre, podemos reducirla con la ayuda de una infusión de orégano. Se debe tomar a temperatura ambiente. También se puede empapar un paño limpio en la infusión de orégano, agregar vinagre de manzana y aplicar el paño sobre la cabeza.\n\nSi tienes dolores menstruales o el síndrome premenstrual, el orégano te vendrá muy bien. Puedes masajear la zona abdominal con el aceite de orégano y/o tomar infusión de orégano. Esta planta es muy útil para los dolores.\nDebido a su acción antioxidante, el orégano es una forma natural de mejorar nuestras defensas y el funcionamiento de nuestro sistema inmunológico.\n\nEl orégano puede contribuir a reducir los niveles de glucosa o azúcar en sangre en personas con diabetes.\nRealizando buches o enjuagues con la infusión de orégano podemos cuidar de la salud de nuestra boca de forma natural.\n\n# <center>5 pasos para cultivar tu planta de orégano:</center>\n\n# Cómo plantar orégano en casa o en la huerta\n\n***1.- Siembra:*** a finales de invierno ya se pueden preparar los semilleros. Debes asegurarte de que los semilleros se mantienen a una temperatura de entre 19 y 22 ºC para favorecer la germinación de las semillas, proceso que suele tomar unas 3 semanas. También podemos reproducir la planta mediante esquejes (mira aquí cómo puedes hacerlo). Si siembras el orégano en maceta asegúrate de que ésta tenga, al menos, 30 cm de profundidad. Entre planta y planta dejaremos 40 cm de distancia.\n\n***2 .- Sustrato:*** el orégano tienen gran facilidad para adaptarse prácticamente todo tipo de suelos. Prepara una maceta con una parte de humus de lombriz o abono orgánico, otra con arena y dos de tierra de jardín. Al menos una vez al año añadiremos materia orgánica y evitaremos que el suelo se compacte, pues esto impediría el desarrollo de las raíces.\n\n***3.- Luz:*** obtendremos mejores plantas si las colocamos en un lugar soleado, donde puedan recibir la luz directa del sol.\n\n***4.- Riegos:*** la planta del orégano gusta de riegos periódicos pero bien racionados, sin excesos de agua. Intenta mantener cierto grado de humedad en la tierra para favorecer el buen desarrollo de la planta.\n\n***5.- Temperatura:*** el orégano es una planta que puede resistir bien el frío, eso sí, si éstas temperaturas se mantienen podrían ralentizar el desarrollo de la planta.
