| body | Great post. I believe the Lakers should keep their core nucleus as well. We can see how the additions of Steve Nash and Dwight Howard put the Lakers behind the rest of the NBA years back. One piece that I highly recommend Lakers get is a superstar Center. Lakers have the cap room and the trade "bait" to solidify this position for the next 5-7 years |

| body | Why green is now my new favourite colour . Today the Cryptocurrency market is finally back in the green after being in the red loss percentage for the last few days, The top 5 are in the green again as Bitcoin is up 4.25% at $9.285 as we speak still below the $10.000 it was at 4 days ago. Ethereum is up 4.4% to $725 after being around the $800 mark under a week ago. Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin are up 11% between them at $1047 and $185 respectively and Ripple is down after its gain at the the start of the week to $0.82. Other Coins up today considerably are Dash at 9%, Tron at 9%, Nano at 15%, Zilliqa at 19% and our beloved Steem is up 4%. As a cryptocurrency holder myself its always good to see people holding and buying more cryptocurrency because i really do believe in it and i want as little of my money to be with bankers as possible. I don't trust the banks at all. Hopefully we see Bitcoin hit $50k this year as i do see a future in this crypto, Ethereum at $5k is reasonable as it is a very useful crypto. Litecoin i hope goes to the moon but i hope it reaches $1k which is possible as it has some major things planned this year. I hope more people are bearish and hodl onto they cryptocurrency because at some point or already the bankers will buy up all the crypto that people panic sell and just like with money and raw materials in the world, them and the elite rich people will end up with most of it. So keep your cryptocurrency because 5 years down the line you will either be grateful you held or regretful you sold on a panic dip. If you are interested in what cryptocurrency coins i hold leave a comment and if you like crypto or sports news please follow. Feedback welcome :) |

| body | With Larry Nance Jr and Jordan Clarkson gone what about the rest of the young guns? The Los Angeles Lakers have a star studded history Hall of Famers Elgin Baylor and Jerry West to another great in Mr 100 point game centre Wilt Chamberlain to legends Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson to the recent Greats of Shaquille O'neal and the greatest Iso shooter i have ever seen... Kobe Bryant. But with the season coming to a close and free agency looming, Will the Lakers go all in, our stick to the rebuild? The Lakers as of now have just beat the Orlando Magic 108-107 and have a record of 26-35 and are now 5 and a half games back of the 8th spot and final playoff spot currently held by the Los Angeles Clippers. This team has exceeded expectations this season and with the young core of the 7th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft Julius Randle, the 2nd overall pick in 2016 Brandon Ingram and the 2nd overall pick in 2017 Lonzo Ball. The future looks bright. 2 young assets were also acquired in the 2nd round who are also part of the young core this season are guard Josh Hart and a player who was in contention for rookie of the year early in the season Kyle Kuzma. The above 5 players along with veteran players Brook Lopez and recently acquired from the Nance Jr and Jordan Clarkson trade and last year's MVP candidate Isaiah Thomas from the Cleveland Cavaliers have added a bit of steel to and leadership to this Lakers team. However they is talk that with free agents available like Carmelo Anthony, Paul George and the main attraction the greatest player in the world as we speak Lebron James, they is growing concern that the Lakers young guns might get broken up and a few pieces may be moved to free up cap space for two big free agents to come in next season. The chances of more moves being made in the summer has risen when young pieces Clarkson and Nance Jr were moved in February. So Should the Lakers stick with the young guns and build for the future? Or Go after Free Agents? My Take..... I personally think that the Lakers should keep the nucleus of Ball, Ingram, Randle, Kuzma and Hart. From what i have seen this season Randle has been playing like a monster and has been a destructive force on the inside, Hart has played very well as a backup point guard and has shown a lot of potential this season and can probably from what i have seen become a decent option a few years down the line. Kuzma has been a hidden gem and has shown this season to be a real star a couple years from now. Ingram is a stud and i see Allstar potential from him, the resemblance to Kevin Durant's game to his own game is crazy and this guy has the potential to be as successful star in this league. Then theys Ball..... the underdog, the guy with the loudmouth dad the guy with the rap album the guy who everyone said after his first game would be a bust..... the guy in my opinion who can be a triple double machine and makes his team so much better whens hes on the court, to me this early..... i see Allstar potential. Love his game too. Lebrons the greatest player in the world at the moment but he's getting old and is on the decline..... is it worth paying big for his decline years? i don't think so as i think Lebron would only come to LA for the celebrity life and to improve his brand, not to win. Paul George? he's a LA guy and i rate him as one of the top small forwards in the game, if i had to choose between him and Lebron? i would choose PG13 as he's still got his prime years ahead of him and he does not need the ball in his hands as much as Lebron. Overall i think that the Lakers should keep building through the youth and keep hold of the veterans they have especially Brook Lopez (not Isiah Thomas as i think he wants max money and he's definitely overrated). Add some pieces to what they have and think of the future. Re-sign Randle in the summer and build towards a bright future with the young guns you have. Then... LA may get a new era of Showtime. | body | Its a tough thing to discuss as some teams are stuck treadmilling to finish 8th and to be swept in the first round of the playoffs with a 10-20 positioned draft pick with a average team. Tanking can legit earn you a top pick and a future superstar long term but sometimes it works like Philadelphia or it doesn't like Orlando. Thanks from a Basketball blogger myself. |

| body | Stay in your lane and find out...... Big Baller Brand is a american launched in 2016 by Lavar Ball that has the intention of selling clothing and shoes. Lavar has thre childen who he has created basketball performance shoes for..... The Zo2 Prime for his oldest son and Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball: The Melo1 for his youngest son and Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas combo guard LaMelo Ball: And soon to be released the Gelo3 for his middle son an Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas shooting guard LiAngelo Ball: Lavar has been branching out recently and has started up the Big Baller Brand Challenge Games in Lithuania hosted by LiAngelo and LaMelos team Vytautas Prienai–Birštonas were they play top youth teams in the Lithuanian league. Big Baller Brand have also recently partnered up with Birštonas Mineral Water to import bottled water to the United States and at some point worldwide. Lavar Ball created Big Baller Brand situated in Chino Hills California which makes sense as all 3 of his sons Lonzo, LiAngelo and LaMelo all played for Chino Hills High School. And to state the obvious the 3Bs stands for each of the Ball boys. Upon the brands launch its only sold t-shirts and shorts at a pretty high price normally $50 dollars per item however if it takes off it may be money well spent. Even though the prices for a lot of the projects are expensive like $500 for each of the Ball brothers shoes the shoes are made by the company called BrandBlack who produce really high quality shoes and as you can see in the photo below the Brandblack shoes look similar to the Big Baller Brand Shoes: As a avid shoe collector i can say that the BrandBlack shoes are one of the most underrated shoes on the market and with they shoes being good performance wise, it gives my high hope for the Big Baller Brand Shoes. So..... Can Lavar Ball do the impossible and make Big Baller Brand bigger than the main brands like Nike, Jordan, Adidas and Under Armour? Well.... it all depends on how his three sons perform in the longterm that will determine they success. So far after a slow start Lonzo Ball has been been playing really well since coming back from injury after the all star game. His stats so far in his rookie season are 10.4 points per game, 7 rebounds per game and 7 assists and the Lakers normally win when he's playing. As for Liangelo and LaMelo well they giving the Big Baller Brand name exposure in Lithuania and have both been playing really well (LiAngelo mostly) and this has allowed Lavar to open popup shops in London and Lithuania recently this year. Overall i think long term in the next couple of decades with the right exposure and right investments Big Baller Brand could be as big as Nike and Jordan if they can build on all 3 brothers future success and hopefully pick up a few college players who go on to be superstars down the line. Remember.... Nike, Jordan, Adidas and Under Armour all started off small. Big Baller Brand might not just stop the wheel.... they could break the wheel. Feedback welcome. |

| body | With Mr Kyrie Irving in the team do they have a chance....... The Boston Celtics went through some changes in the offseason swapping the number 1 pick in the 2017 draft via Brooklyn to Philadelphia for a future 1st round pick and the number 3 pick in the 2017 draft (looking like a smart trade for Boston at the moment) and used that pick to draft Jayson Tatum at number 3 in the draft. While Tatum has been great for Boston in his rookie season and looks like he can become a star in this league the major move was when Boston traded Issah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first round pick for Kyrie Irving. Gordon Hayward was all snagged from the Utah Jazz in preseason after his all star season being the main centre piece in the Jazz's playoff run. Hayward would immediately go down to a season ending injury really early into the start of the 2017-1018 season which most pundits said at the time was a awful injury. When the Celtics pulled off the Kyrie Irving – Isaiah Thomas trade, it was thought to be mostly a wash on defense. Irving was regarded as bad a defender as Thomas. The only difference, most thought, was that Kyrie was taller and could at least get a hand in the face of opposing team’s shooters. We’ve come to find out that Kyrie can be an excellent defensive player at times, much to the upset of Cleveland fans. Proof you may ask? Kyrie helped limit standout Mavericks rookie Dennis Smith Jr to 4-of-16 shooting and made a key steal from behind down the stretch to preserve a Celtics win earlier in the season. As for that tiny matter of guarding LeBron James, the Celtics obviously cannot completely stop him. But they do have the personnel to at least slow him down some. LeBron said last year that Jaylen Brown was one of the sneaky good young defenders in the NBA and Stevens tends to agree as he often puts Brown one-on-one with LeBron. Obviously Brown will need help and that may come in the form of Marcus Morris. Morris helped hold LeBron to a season-low 16 points last year when he was a member of the Pistons and Detroit had decent success against the Cavs overall last year, going 2-2. Can they beat the Golden State Warriors? Brad Stevens is the coach with the most success against the Warriors, and now the Celtics have the player with the most success against the Dubs in Kyrie. Kyrie was the difference-maker in the 2016 NBA Finals when the Cavs rallied from a 3-1 hole to upset Golden State .You obviously can’t bank on injuries, but the Warriors are due for some bad luck in June one of these years. The Cavs endured costly injuries to Kevin Love and Kyrie during the Finals trilogy. It’s crazy to say considering the Warriors unreal collection of stars, but the Celtics actually match up better with Golden State than Cleveland. Boston has been built to compete against a sharp-shooting, guard-heavy squad like the Warriors. The hope for Ainge during this whole process was that LeBron would either get old or would bolt to the Western Conference. So....... Can they do it? The way that the Cavaliers are playing at the moment means that in a matchup between Boston and Cleveland you would say Boston would win in 6 or 7 games, what about the Toronto Raptors the top team in the East? could go either way, however if they do get past Cleveland and Toronto then can they beat Golden State or Houston..... maybe just maybe. |

"body": "With Mr Kyrie Irving in the team do they have a chance.......\n\n\nThe Boston Celtics went through some changes in the offseason swapping the number 1 pick in the 2017 draft via Brooklyn to Philadelphia for a future 1st round pick and the number 3 pick in the 2017 draft (looking like a smart trade for Boston at the moment) and used that pick to draft Jayson Tatum at number 3 in the draft. While Tatum has been great for Boston in his rookie season and looks like he can become a star in this league the major move was when Boston traded Issah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and Brooklyn's 2018 first round pick for Kyrie Irving. Gordon Hayward was all snagged from the Utah Jazz in preseason after his all star season being the main centre piece in the Jazz's playoff run.\n\nHayward would immediately go down to a season ending injury really early into the start of the 2017-1018 season which most pundits said at the time was a awful injury.\n\nWhen the Celtics pulled off the Kyrie Irving – Isaiah Thomas trade, it was thought to be mostly a wash on defense. Irving was regarded as bad a defender as Thomas. The only difference, most thought, was that Kyrie was taller and could at least get a hand in the face of opposing team’s shooters. We’ve come to find out that Kyrie can be an excellent defensive player at times, much to the upset of Cleveland fans.\n\nProof you may ask? Kyrie helped limit standout Mavericks rookie Dennis Smith Jr to 4-of-16 shooting and made a key steal from behind down the stretch to preserve a Celtics win earlier in the season.\n\nAs for that tiny matter of guarding LeBron James, the Celtics obviously cannot completely stop him. Morris helped hold LeBron to a season-low 16 points last year when he was a member of the Pistons and Detroit had decent success against the Cavs overall last year, going 2-2.\n\nCan they beat the Golden State Warriors?\nBrad Stevens is the coach with the most success against the Warriors, and now the Celtics have the player with the most success against the Dubs in Kyrie. \n\nIt’s crazy to say considering the Warriors unreal collection of stars, but the Celtics actually match up better with Golden State than Cleveland. Boston has been built to compete against a sharp-shooting, guard-heavy squad like the Warriors. The hope for Ainge during this whole process was that LeBron would either get old or would bolt to the Western Conference.\n\nSo....... Can they do it? The way that the Cavaliers are playing at the moment means that in a matchup between Boston and Cleveland you would say Boston would win in 6 or 7 games, what about the Toronto Raptors the top team in the East? could go either way, however if they do get past Cleveland and Toronto then can they beat Golden State or Houston..... maybe just maybe.",

| body | Who Will finish top of the Eastern Conference The NBA season has throwing up alot of surprises this season with the Toronto Raptors leading the way in the East to the complete blowup of the Cleveland Cavaliers team at the trade deadline to Kyrie Irving balling out in Boston, here we look at who is in the running for the Eastern Conference number 1 seed and who will be jockeying for seeding in the race for a playoff spot. Toronto Raptors: 45-17 Record No 1 seed: “You could make a case for a lot of teams being the best team, but the numbers say we are there.” These were the words from Raptors coach Dwane Casey recently when asked if his team was the best in the East so far this season. The numbers do back Toronto’s claim. After Sunday's night’s win over the Hornets, the Raptors are 45-17 — the best record in the East, and the third-best in the NBA. That puts them on pace to break the franchise record of 56 wins they set two years ago. More importantly, Toronto has the NBA’s fourth-best offense which is 111 points per 100 possessions and third-best defense in the NBA at 102.7 points per 100 possessions. How impressive is this? The only other team in the top five in both categories? The defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors. So why would Toronto be slightly reluctant to go all-in on his current team? One way to look at it is a chance to guard against the rapidly rising expectations for his squad. But there’s another reason that seems more likely, Toronto knows the true test of how good this Raptors team is and if it is the best team this franchise has ever assembled is going to come in April, May and June. Regular season success isn’t foreign to the Toronto Raptors, who have exceeded 50 wins in each of the past two seasons. But in the postseason, the Raptors have struggled, needing every little ounce of their energy to escape from their first-round series and then continuing to struggle against Lebron and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Two years ago, Toronto made it to the Eastern Conference finals, but only after two nail biting seven-game series against the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat which they deserved to win but could’ve gone either way. Then they were demolished by the Cleveland Cavaliers in arguably the most lopsided six-game series the sport has ever seen. Last year it took six games to dispatch a tough improving Milwaukee Bucks in Round 1, only to get swept by the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference semifinals due to injury to 4 time all star and leader Kyle Lowry. So what’s different this year? The biggest change is in Toronto’s spreading the basketball approach. Last season, the Raptors were 22nd in the NBA in three pointers attempted per game and 29th among the league’s 30 teams in assist percentage. This year, they are fifth and tied for ninth, respectively. Over the years under team President Masai Ujiri, the Raptors have steadily rounded out their roster with players the team has drafted and developed. This season, several of them have become major contributors. Rookie OG Anunoby has stepped into the starting lineup and given the Raptors the big, physical presence on the wings they’ve been searching for. Other former draft picks have developed into reliable options at point guard Fred VanVleet, power forward Pascal Siakam and center Jakob Poeltl, while this summer’s main offseason acquisition, swingman C.J. Miles, has helped Toronto’s efforts to become a better three-point shooting team. Can the Raptors continue to play this way during the playoffs? That remains to be seen, but to do so, Lowry and DeRozan will have to continue to believe that everyone needs to touch the ball as the game winds down, instead of reverting back to the isolation play that they’ve so often relied on in the past. But this season...... It seems that this Raptors squad believe they can stop Lebrons Cleveland and Kyries Boston to make it to the NBA Finals. A Dream? Might just become a reality..... |

| body | Do you need to be a rich market franchise to have the favour of the NBA Commissioner if you want to win a NBA Championship? Over the time that the National Basketball Association (NBA) has been around they has been a lot of controversy surrounding the way the NBA has handled itself. For example lets go back to a recent ex referee called Tim Donaghy who alleged that back in 2002 in a Western Conference Final Game 6 basketball game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings that the referees fixed the result of the game because the NBA wanted 2 big market teams in the Playoff finals. Looking back on footage of the game you can tell that something is not quite right with the way the referees are calling the game in favour of the Lakers. This led to The Los Angeles Lakers beating the Kings and then onto the Eastern Conference Playoff Champions the New Jersey Nets in a 4-0 clean sweep. Consider the frozen envelope. The theory goes that, back in 1985, the league was so desperate to place Georgetown titan Patrick Ewing with the Knicks that commissioner David Stern and various conspirators fixed the proceedings so New York’s envelope would be selected first. This was done by placing the envelope in a freezer, making it easier to detect by touch, and creasing the corner of the envelope by flinging it, Frisbee-like, against the side of the clear-plastic hopper. Yet again the New York Knicks is a major fan based franchise so would making sure they hometown boy gets picked to them help the league bring more fans into the NBA if he went to his hometown team? Coincidence? Personally I think that the fans are now pretty educated on the fact that there’s going to be star treatment in the NBA, that certain players are going to get the benefit of calls that other players aren’t, and it’s obvious to them that certain players are going to be able to get away with a little bit of a traveling versus other players. So there’s a set of rules, and it’s a rule book, and you’re supposed to go out and enforce those rules as they’re written, but it just doesn’t happen. Special players getting special treatment, and that’s just the craft of officiating in the NBA. This is the case for the greatest player in the world at this time Lebron James. Hence the NBA wanting they most marketable superstar in the playoff finals every year regardless of the controversy. Finally i finish up with this, If you look back at the NBA draft is it not too much of a coincidence that hometown stars who are bonafide number 1 picks end up going to they hometown teams? Does it make more sense moneywise and to the casual fans to have 2 teams like Los Angeles Lakers or Boston Celtics in the playoff finals instead of say Phoenix Suns and the Atlanta Hawks? A ex referee comes out and admits to nba fixing games and results and drafts but is then made out to be a liar, yet theys proof to say otherwise. All we want is a fair NBA....
