Clarke,  Henry David Thoreau, Mark Twain, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.\n<hr>\nThese larger than life characters of our past all have left a striking impact for the betterment of mankind. \n\nWhere are the Franklin’s and Jefferson’s of today?\n\nTo start the focus of this conversation, the quote below will serve as such.\n\n*\"Man will ultimately be governed by God or by tyrants.\"* ~ Benjamin Franklin\n<hr>\n\n# Edumucation\n\nNowadays, the question begged to be asked, is at present, \"why are there so few men of wisdom amongst mankind?\" When one considers that Thomas Jefferson was learned in Philosophy in his early teens and was quoting Solon and Plato, we must stop and consider the lack of advancement in today’s education system. \n\nShould our children not also be as wise and learned at this early age as one of our Founding Fathers? Imagine a Philosophy course in our 1st grade education guidelines. \n\nShouldn’t that be the time to plant seeds for sowing a creative nature, a disciplined character and affirming a moral guideline for one’s life?\n\nIs truth, philosophy, honor, good judgment and integrity, important to instill into our children’s minds, hearts and souls? Of course it is. Then why is every aspect of every one of these endeavors diminished within the schooling of our children throughout the world?\n \nOne has to move their child to a private school to even hope for such an atmosphere to achieve even the slightest of improvement. Parents who are skilled and fortunate enough to provide homeschooling are statistically producing child prodigies so far above that of government education, we can easily see the path for a more enlightened world within this simple understanding.\n\nA critical thinking mind might determine that someone does not want our children to think for themselves, much-less facilitate an education beyond the capacity of an obedient worker. \n\nCritical thinkers are hard to control. That is the simple fact that shadows this conversation at all levels.\n\nOnce you know how the world operates, there is no going back. You will realize that we can remedy this elephant in the room, bind the perpetrators and start to move our world into an amazing new future void of any more nefarious agendas. \n<hr>\n\n# Systems\n<div class=\"pull-left\">https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWixtbCUrczydUKPTWQFq6skfea475qdg2uAuF8uZPLwj/dieschlachtbeikulm.jpg</div>\n\nAfter Napoleon defeated the Prussians (Germans) in 1806, it was decided that too many soldiers were not following orders, which in turn caused their defeat. What eventually resulted from this battle was the “Prussian Educational System”, which was developed by the Prussian philosopher Johann Gottlieb Fichte (1762-1814). This system of education is what we have continually developed and improved on. It teaches our children to “Follow Orders”. To be “Obedient to Authority”. “Independent Thinking” and “Critical Thinking” be damned. And here we are 212 years later graduating children onto the world stage, who appear to have the intellect similar to a box of rocks.\n\nIf one has a mind for critical thinking that has not yet been destroyed by billions of dollars of quiet efforts to amend such expanse, the “Obvious” might one day reckon itself within ones minds eye, to suddenly alert one’s internal bullshit detector. And then Zap! The sudden realization that you have been had; been played for as a useful idiot, and the fatal realization that you have been wronged within the subjugation of subtle mind control and further through technological means, will have an overwhelming and stunning realization. \n\nOne can simply be amazed at arriving at this point in ones journey. A new world awaits the awakened soul. The creative force of mankind’s intelligence and inner being lies in wait, like the potters origin clay. \n<hr>\n\n# Connection Issues\n\nSnap. <div class=\"pull-right\">https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYUmGE2LBUTzGam9UPQ6k6yaacxJGS5WCqASRojDUo8r6/wires.jpg</div>\n\nThe powers that be, do not want to hear that sound.\n\nAs when your kitchen smoke detector gets set off due to one’s lapse into distraction, and one burns the casserole, the immediate reaction is complete helplessness. The detector is in alarm and will not shut off. Smoke overwhelms the senses. \n\nWe all kind of panic in these situations. Upon awakening to the walls of deception. One may feel a similar panic. \n\nThe smoke will clear and the alarm will cease.  \n\nWe will either evolve to an evolved anarchy where we do not need government, or we will digress toward tyranny. The less intelligent and unaware we become, the more certain tyranny and subjugation will reign. \nRepresentative Government is the stop-gap measure as we await to evolve, and only if we remain as Benjamin Franklin suggests; a virtuous and moral people. Franklin suggested this formula would be the only manner in which to keep our new Representative Government. \n<hr>\n\n# Trends\n\nWhat astounds me still, is the amount and degree of awakened minds flourished within the days of our Founding Fathers and as far back as ancient Greece with the Philosopher Solan. Why were these gentlemen so much better educated than we are now at some 250 years to a couple of thousand years in the past?\n\nWhat path and within what circumstances did these men and women take to awaken their inner wisdom? Kennedy once remarked at a White House dinner for Nobel Prize winners.\n\n“I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered together at the White House, with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone. Someone once said that Thomas Jefferson was a gentleman of 32 who could calculate an eclipse, survey an estate, tie an artery, plan an edifice, try a cause, break a horse, and dance the minuet.” ~ John F. Kennedy \n<hr>\n\n# Remedy\n\nStarting from scratch with new education guidelines, our intentions would first need to be set. We need to know and desire what we want to be as a species within our cultures and communities.\n\nI might suggest a few desirable traits for our children to have by the age of 14, before the storm of “stupidity” hormones become fully embedded within. \n1. Understanding right and wrong within the care of civility and morality.\n2. Becoming a soul of honor and integrity.\n3. Understanding the value of truth in all things while maintaining a highly developed braking system for the tongue.\n4. Being studied in historical and modern philosophy.\n5. Honouring oneself, furthered by the encouragement of others, to follow one’s talents and desires. Developing      support systems for each other. \n6. Being studied and skilled in the nature of effective communication with each other.\n7. Having a full understanding of the nature of freedom, balanced with responsibility.\n8. Being studied in the relationship of math to the nature of reality.\n9. Having a full understanding how our bodies and nature work and how to properly nurture and care for ourselves and our surroundings. \n10. Having a highly developed understanding of man’s past and not his-story.\n<hr>\nIn reference to #10 above, At the end of a kings reign, the king was endowed with the ability to write his version of how events during his time on the throne passed through time. This was His-story, which later became “history”. Fortunately we have multiple accounts of our past, as to compare to any “official” versions.\n<hr>\n\n# Distractions\n\nThe above (10) desired attributes are worth so much more to humanity than “New Math” skills, or verb conjugation. We will probably need to balance the training of the mind through repetition, with deeper and more logical thinking. \n\nIf a parent desires the attributes listed above for their children, they must fully understand the many and varied blatant distractions that abound to compete for your kids attention. Television would be one of these distractions that one would have to maintain strict limitations. \n\nIt has been maintained that saying “No” to something a child desires, must be completed with a response that expresses logic and reasoning while leaving their child’s senses nurtured and fulfilled. The “Because I Said So” line is quite damaging and helps develop a latent sense of rebellion.\n<hr>\n\n# Farm Schooling\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbfnRhdQ3ardAsdbsrucZVgQeREiU4Ke7EMqHgmk6bD4X/Nevada.jpg</div>Full Sail Farm, will have to develop a new model for our education agenda. This new model will be a top priority and will be given the red carpet in our invitations to the round table. \n\nSetting education as one of the main priorities will demand that we attract top minds throughout the world to come be with our progress for our K-12 age groups and to also set up new standards for our College program. \n\nOur College will not produce minds for meaningless careers. We envision this to be more than just a turning point for higher education. \n\nA new economic vision will become manifest in parallel, as we map our new horizons in the way we live our lives. Independence in home and land ownership that stays in the family, generation after generation will be key to the foundation and security of the new system. Food production and energy independence will be the twin.\n\nWe envision seeing teen’s discussing philosophy around the fire on a brisk October evening and then charting the movements of the heavens while God’s little lanterns twinkle on and off in the evenings sky. Boys and Girls will progress through their Rites of Passage studies to pass from teen to full-fledge Men and Women. The tyrants oppression of the people tends to fire up the liberty gene within our chromosomes. It’s a built in safeguard. Think back into our history. The standing up to Roman invasion, The Magna Carta, The American Revolution. \n\n\n*“Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.\nLiberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.”*\n~Benjamin Franklin.\n\nAnd I will add to the above, “The American Revolution’s Self-government “Republic” is the evolution of the Greek’s democracy. When something better comes along, that will mean that we will have raised our consciousness to a level where government is no longer needed. \n\nWhen we can all learn about ourselves; our human proclivity to do the wrong thing in mass and then truly understand why we are so easily controlled, then we can start to learn how to overcome this flaw. It’s really quite simple, but once we grasp this, we must hold the knowledge close forever. Repeating the stampeding over the cliffs edge holds no esteem. How will it be possible to exist without some of these essentials without trade and purchase? \n\nAfter all, when it comes to self-sufficiency, there always seems to be a caveat to the intent of the phrase. \"It can rarely be 100%.\"\n\nMy answer? The same way we are going to provide all housing and business structures; **underground.**\n<hr>\n\n<center>\nThis picture will give you somewhat of an idea of how this works.\n\n![greehouse1.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmS8gXEhXJeatsGzXrHJRNa64KtL2iaqqbPhTB6iFtoYMZ/greehouse1.jpg)</div>\n\n\nAnd we can even do this as far north as Colorado.\n<hr>\n\n# Our Choice \nMother nature maintains a constant source of heat at around 8-10 foot under your feet. A constant 52 degrees Fahrenheit is ready and waiting to utilize. Some existing projects have used air piping, water/glycol piping and others have used tunnels of different sizes. These applications are all partially passive and also partially active. \n\nFull Sail Farm will be utilizing the geothermal heat transfer method using underground polyethylene piping that will be transferring heat via a glycol solution and a high efficiency pump. This solution releases its heat via a fan coil heat exchanger where the air is ducted from the ceiling of the greenhouse, drawn across the heat exchanger coil and then transferred through a supply air duct low to the floor. The ducting also draws from one side and blows from the other allowing a push pull of airflow from left to right of the length, for maximum efficiency. \n\nThe problem with blowing air through pipes to extract the heat is that it has a lower efficiency and also the potential for biological growth in the piping. The results are the same as you will witness in the video below.\n\nTo get the impact of what the potential is for this, I highly recommend taking a few minutes to watch this YouTube video. This clip is about a guy who retired from the post office 25 years ago and started tinkering with this concept. He is now growing dozens of orange, lime, lemon, fig, and cherry trees in his underground greenhouse on the plains of Nebraska! Bananas need lots of humidity, shade and heat and don’t like it below 70 degrees. Oranges don’t mind cool evenings and can withstand some strong heat and sunshine. Pineapples just can’t freeze or be over-watered. Coffee just needs an 85 degree daytime greenhouse environment year round. Cool nights are just fine.\n\nOf course there are countless varieties that are better adapted in more challenging environments. It does take trial & error. Each greenhouse will have different climates to fit what is being grown. We just dial in the climate and let natures bounty proceed forth!\n\n# Refrigeration \n\nFor our cold space storage, Full Sail Farms will utilize 10 foot tall by 16 foot wide tunnels at a depth of around 18 feet, using mother earths natural temperature of around 52 degrees to maintain fruit, potatoes, grains and some vegetables. Directly off of these main food storage tunnels will also be both  40 degree Walk In refrigeration and Walk In freezers. These systems will utilize mechanical refrigeration achieving extremely high efficiency via the geothermal constant temperatures to condense the compressor hot gas and reject the heat. \n\n# But wait there’s more!\n\nNow you might be starting to understand how we will be able to provide for our needs of coffee, pineapples, oranges, bananas, limes, lemons and lots of exotic spices such as cardamon and cinnamon.\n\n<div class=\"pull-left\">https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXJN8VBvKKuo5JrUZuLq6yn8SnPddZFbFHhmW4mEpvBki/undergroundGreenhouse3.jpg</div>Our greenhouses will be protected from the wind, temperature extremes and will have redundant safe-guards to protect temperature sensitive crops. Need 65% humidity? Done. Need to never get below 52 degrees in the winter? Done. And so on….\n\n<hr>\n\nThe farm will utilize lots of different means of energy such as photovoltaics, wind energy, geothermal and some not so natural such as natural gas micro turbines to supplement times of high energy demands. Each of these resources will have either waste heat or excess energy to be able to give toward our more cold sensitive greenhouse environments if needed, and when none is available, we can always resort to the turbines for power! The crops must live!\n\nIn certain greenhouse environments, we will utilize aquaponics. This is where we utilize a fish tank, lots of high quality fish, and then filter the nitrogen laden fish waste in the water, via plant watering and thereby provide high nitrogen content fertilizer for the plants, along with lots of minerals. This all gets way cool and involved. The water tanks will also act as a heat sink in the winter. In the summer, the water will also be able to be cooled by the glycol geothermal loop as will the greenhouses in certain conditions. The typical intake and exhaust fan is generally the solution for summer temperature control. We will also be utilizing shade cloth and other shading methods to control excess heat.\n\n# Greenhouse Visions\n\nAt this point, we are envisioning around (14) 120 foot underground greenhouses. Each will have its own climate control specific for whatever crops we are nurturing. Each will utilize a certain type of passive heat assisted active system to maintain the desired parameters. \n\nWe will also be able to start our crops much earlier than any other greenhouse could offer. Early plantings could allow tomato harvests as early as late May and early June and throught the summer and fall. Many crops will be planted in a staggered time line on a rolling basis to keep fresh product ripening up until the last of November. We will also be utilizing soil heating using active solar heat transfer to keep certain crops root systems warm. This helps extend the growing season even longer. \n\nImagine a consistent supply of every food you need, every spice, herb and more. Be it from cold storage or fresh off the vine.
