That number is expected to increase to 277 million by 2050, according to The 2013 World Alzheimer's Report.\n\n - 60% of them will become “lost” at least once\n - 70% of those will become “lost” 3 or more times\n - 46% of wanders not found within 24  hours may die\n\n**The problem is twofold.**\n\n1. People don't yet know that there is a simple elegant solution to save the ones who do wander\n2. People who care for those at risk are in denial, \"What?
