      "body": "Good read, thanks for pointing me towards this in the welcome post I made. \n\nI didn't realize the whole religious zealots thing, but it makes a lot of sense. I think the only thing I disagree with is the quotes from the early church stating that someone within the armed forces should not be admitted to the church. I think that a big thing Jesus also preached was that no man was excluded from becoming a part of his church, and while I do think we should be pacifists, I don't think that you need be a pacifist to be a christian. It's just something you pick up as you deepen your relationship with the lord.",

I spent 4 years on the shop floor running CNC machines, assembling, applying edge banding, before I was given an opportunity that was way out of my skill set. The owner of my company approached me one day and said there was a local poultry farm who wanted to renovate a small office and he asked me if I could go measure out the room and design them an office. I could have said no, that I didnt know how to do it, or that I was too busy with my other assignments but instead I said, \"sure\".\nThat day I became a designer, what I came up with wasn't impressive, but the customer liked it, and my boss was impressed that within two weeks time I continued my other work duties, learned how to create 3D models, and presented the customer with a set of 3D models and a room layout. \nFrom there I have continued to wear many hats for the company I work for but my favorite one is creating spaces for people. What I would like to offer the steemit community is this.\nI will freelance draw and model for steem.\nI can design custom office furniture for steemians and offer manufacturer direct pricing.\nWhile I would be willing to do the design for steem the product would have to be purchased in USD. \n\nI'm going out on a limb here, I am not sure how many people are interested in this sort of opportunity, or if you have even read this entire post. When I look around at the steemit community there are so many people bringing so much to steemit, and although I enjoy blogging and have a podcast, this is really what I do 50+ hours a week.       "body": "I'm only a week into steemit, and honestly I haven't discovered anyone yet that I would say is my favorite, but I am blown away by the amount of people on steemit who are cryptocurrency experts, I am really new to cryptocurrencies and after purchasing $100 USD of litecoin I transferred it to STEEM POWER. I feel the responsible thing to do before I invest more is to continue to learn about cryptocurrencies and more specifically the way steem works.       "body": "I recently attended a church service in the US and was shocked that they were discussing placing armed guards in the church to protect the congregation from attack (they had received no threats, or anything to begin to justify it). I tried to highlight the incongruent nature of a Christian church with armed guards, but I believe it fell on deaf ears. Support of the wars and violence against one's enemies is, in my opinion, the greatest blindness in the church today. Thanks for your writing.",
