Lo mismo pasa con los videojuegos para algunas personas, necesitan historias que puedan creerse para poder sentir algo. No vamos a entrar en si son mejores los argumentos basados en hechos reales o no, cada uno tiene sus gustos, pero sí que nos parece que cuando un argumento está basado en algo que sucedió de verdad le aporta un barniz de veracidad que siempre resulta interesante… ¡y que da miedito!\n\nAsí que en 3DJuegos, tras repasar Los 10 Mejores Juegos de Terror Clásicos, profundizamos ahora en aquellos títulos que basan sus historias en relatos reales; los juegos a los que perfectamente podría acompañar la coletilla \"basado en hechos reales\" que tanto miedo da en ocasiones.\n\n1.Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Jack el Destripador\nHay muchos videojuegos que trataron el tema de Jack el Destripador y, de hecho, barajamos incluir Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper. Sin embargo, por ambientación y calidad de la aventura este contenido descargable de Assassin's Creed Syndicate se ha hecho con un lugar en el especial… A pesar de no ser estrictamente terror. Con Jack the Ripper obtuvimos una forma extraordinaria de prolongar la vida útil de la fantástica aventura de mundo abierto de la serie AC. Scotland Yard se muestra incapaz de lidiar con los asesinatos de Jack el Destripador, de modo que los protagonistas del videojuego debían embarcarse en una investigación fascinante que nos tenía varias horas entretenidos en una revisión que lograba inyectar ciertas y sorprendentes dosis de terror en la fórmula habitual de Ubisoft con ensoñaciones, violencia salvaje y momentos de auténtica pesadilla.\n\n2.Kholat\nEl Pico de la Muerte. ¿Se te ocurre algo mejor que eso para ambientar un título de terror? Kholat era un título polaco que se basaba en lo que sucedió en los soviéticos montes Urales en 1959. Un suceso que todavía levanta polémicas dado el hecho de que ahora, incluso casi 60 años después, todavía no está claro qué sucedió. Muchas muertes violentas de unos montañeros, desmembrados de una manera casi inhumana, y distintas voces que apuntan a si se pudo tratar de extraterrestres, una explosión o incluso el yeti. En 2015 apareció este videojuego de terror y misterio que, haciendo uso de esos mimbres, no acabó de lograr ser un título memorable pero sí interesante y sugerente.\n\n\n3.Project Zero - Fatal Frame\nDe los lazos que unen los videojuegos con las historias reales, el de Fatal Frame es uno de los más truculentos. La Mansión Himuro en la que se ambienta el título es uno de los lugares más conocidos e infames de Japón, puesto que es ahí precisamente donde tuvo lugar una masacre relacionada con el ocultismo. Tortura, prácticas de desmembramiento y todo tipo de rituales aterradores que fueron empleados por el clásico Project Zero; no sólo para apoyarse en sus muros como telón de fondo, sino para emplear algunas de las prácticas que tuvieron lugar allí como pavorosa inspiración.\n\n\n4.The Cat Lady\nConstruido como una mezcla de historias de depresión escuchadas y vividas por Michalskii, el creador de The Cat Lady, su obra erige su narrativa a través de una ambientación de pesadilla. Las mentes atormentadas de los internos se convierten en protagonistas de este videojuego en una versión convenientemente corregida y aumentada de los hechos reales presenciados por aquel. Un tratamiento de la depresión salvaje, con momentos realmente virulentos y, en general, una atmósfera muy lograda.\n\n5.The Town of Light\nUno de los videojuegos más recientes de este especial es The Town of Light, protagonizado por una jovencita de 16 años llamada Renée. ¿Por qué figura aquí? El Hospital Psiquiátrico de Volterra en el que se ambienta estaba ubicado en la Toscana italiana, y cerró sus puertas en 1978 acusado de ejercer prácticas “demasiado crueles”. Considerado por los lugareños como “el lugar de no retorno”, parecía el sitio idóneo para ambientar un título de terror: un thriller de misterio en el que tenemos que tratar de escapar de las instalaciones.",

Aunque en enero de 1994 se llegó a un acuerdo financiero por un valor de 32 millones, Chandler reconoció tras la muerte del artista que nunca sufrió abusos, y que todo fue una invención de su padre “para escapar de la pobreza”.\n\nOshima no estuvo involucrado en el desarrollo de Sonic 3, pero es probable que Hirokazu Yasuhara o Yuji Naka (los otros dos creadores de la mascota y director y productor del juego, respectivamente) explicase o confirmase la existencia de la cinta al desarrollador.
