| title | U.S. Insolvency and Bankruptcy |
| body | It's pretty easy to make a case that both that the Federal Reserve Bank of the United States (FRB) and the U.S. Federal Government are at least bankrupt but probably also insolvent. When you are having to monetize over $7 trillion in both Treasury and Mortgage debt since 2008 and have borrowed another $27 trillion much of which is part of the $7 trillion that was monetized to keep the government operating that's bankruptcy. In reality, the FRB is figuratively writing the Government a check which it doesn't have the money to cover. It's like you writing a check, knowing you don't have the money and it miraculously doesn't bounce. The FRB and Government long ago ran out of money, so they are typing out huge amounts of money using keystrokes on their computer systems. The FRB is writing bad checks to the government so they can pay all the government employees and costs. We still call this money printing only becasue that was what they did in the old days, before computers and the interbank Swift system. Officially, we are not bankrupt, but realistically we are. The expansion of the money supply by monetizing the debt is showing up in both higher real estate prices, some commodities but also the highly overvalued stock markets. Japan, China, India, Germany, and most of the European Union, and other countries in the world are doing the same things so the International central banking system and most countries are also bankrupt. Insolvency is when your liabilities exceed the assets so with many government bonds around the world at negative interest rate levels, how much are they really worth, if it's only the central banks and a few major corporations that are willing to buy them? |

| body | We like to think voting matters, but once in power, most politicians quickly learn that the two major Parties and their leadership control most of the public policies enacted. Those newly elected either decide to join the power structure, or they risk being ostracized, marginalized, and even losing their campaign funding. Without the campaign funds, they will not have the ability to advertise nor be able to be out on the campaign trail. This is why year after year there are so many empty campaign promises made, but never fulfilled. So they end up blaming it on the opposition party, when in fact their campaign promises never had a chance of ever being enacted. It's even gotten worse for the voters. In Florida, as an example, in 2018 the Sunshine Act was passed by the State legislature which would have allowed daylight saving time to stay in effect so that most 8 to 5 workers still had a little daylight when they get home after work. Apparently, it needs Congressional approval and it still hasn't been done. 1. Does Congress under States rights, even have to constitutional authority to restrict a State from adopting such a policy and 2. Why would it even matter to the Federal Government? It gets darker and lighter, at different times, in different States throughout the country. Bottom line, they are going to do what they want no matter who is in power or who you vote for. |

| title | Totalitarianism Has Always Been a Threat |
| body | Americans are so busy trying to get ahead of the poverty curve, with an estimated 35.77 million people living in poverty and another estimated 60 million living "near" the poverty line, that we are now seeing the added totalitarian actions by "most" of the countries around the world. Even counties with few deaths from the faux pandemic are treating their Citizens like mindless cattle. Surely, there was an aggressive influenza going through the world's population but the Doctors and health officials in many countries quickly and efficiently found cures and. used the herd immunity method to slow their death rates, only 8 people died from C.o.v.i.d.-.1.9 in Taiwan; while the health officials in other countries fought over what to do, even arresting doctors for trying effective protocols not yet "approved" by their governments. I can only wonder how many people died needlessly during the last 6 months from this and the other upper respiratory infections like the H1N1 that is still present throughout the world. China, even though it has, to some degree, opened up its economy to capital markets, is still one of the most totalitarian regimes and they are trying to politically take over countries like Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Zomia/Southeast Asian Massiff whose economies are much more free market and prosperous with many more liberties for their citizens. To think that liberty in the U.S. is not being usurped at greater and greater degrees, you must be a fool or a tyrant. You have seen that there are lots of little Hitlers among us. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/31/china-threatens-czech-senate-speaker-vystrcil-over-taiwan-visit.html |

| title | Is The Melt Up Over? |
| body | When some started seeing a slowdown in international trade, such as a decline in bulk shipping container amounts and rates, both land and sea, in late 2018, many predicted a melt-up in the financial markets before an inevitable meltdown. With the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) printing money and the Federal Government spending money like never before, I surely didn't bet against it and some even coined it the "Fed Put" In 2019 we saw a huge rally primed by the corporate tax cut, corporate buybacks, and insiders selling. I'm now thinking the meltup is at or near the top with stocks on average, 26 times earnings with PE Ratios of some of the more popular stocks, way higher. I've just been informed, major supply chain problems have hit the construction industry with some northern contractors even moving to the south because of a lack of building materials. With lumber yards trading materials between them, to try to meet demand, it appears both are adding to price increases as lumber prices have now doubled in just the last two months. With construction starts up last quarter, this is surely going to drastically affect future home prices and sales. Even home appliances are taking 5 to 6 weeks to deliver from what was just several months ago, five to seven days. Are timber prices rising due to inflation, or the lack of supply, or both is a huge question? Surely many businesses are struggling and those who remain in business are going to take advantage of the supply chain issues. Construction is one of the few industries that can't fully be exported and is a primary contributor to GDP. Even rubber gloves and plastic one (1) gallon water jugs for distilled water for the dental industry are out of stock. As we entered 2020, the FRB started the printing presses for the 4th time since the Great Recession and it was still the pedal to the metal for those literally pushing stock pricing higher with a hand full of stocks on the various indicies contributing to most of the rally, with the broader market lacking any real gains. If someone wanted to cover up a domestic and international economic meltdown, a plandemic, i.e. an outbreak that did not materialize into a pandemic and one that was easily cured by many countries around the world with the right treatment protocols, it could not have been more perfectly times with the first major sell-off of stocks in 2020. Now in the 3rd quarter, the major indices have once again hit new records as stock buybacks, coupled with irrational exuberance still appear to be driving up stock prices. The Federal Reserve Bank still has its ![Uploading image #1...]() printing press wide open and the Government annual deficit will be well over $4 trillion (the highest ever) trying to save our country from what happened in 2008 or worse. This is surely inflationary over the long term and I suspect, as we start to see the other effects of this recession, another major stock market correction is imminent. Consider the current U.S. total interest paid on the debt $338.4 billion and climbing, is the 4th largest Item in the Federal Budget behind, 1. Medicare/Medicaid 2. Social security and 3. Defense/Intelligence. Now consider as noted above, we have already borrowed another $4.2 trillion just his past year trying to plug the numerous leaks in the proverbial economic damn. Printing money is the only thing left for the FRB to do as they've already exhausted the potential effects of keeping interest rates low. |

| title | Why are rates so low and home prices so high? |
| body | For somebody with knowledge in finance and economics to say "The Greatest Economy Ever", they are either ignorant or devious. I believe the latter and I'm sure Edward Snowden and Julian Assange would agree. What recovery we did have from the Great Recession was as some economists called, anemic. As you will see, it was surely fueled by greater and greater debt as four phases of quantitative easing (QE) and other purchase vehicles were rolled out by the Federal Reserve Bank. In late 2019 yields in the Repo market spikes forcing the Federal Reserve to intervein in the overnight lending market in addition to having bailed out the Mortgage and Treasury markets through the QEs. Why do you think mortgage rates are so low? The Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) is buying the paper Mortgage Back Securities) (MBSs) from the Government-owned conduits of FNMA and Freddie Mac and the Government is buying the VA and FHA mortgages. So, where is the FED and Federal Government getting the money? The Bankers at the FRB are literally typing the amount needed into their computers as an asset on their balance sheet and and using it as money to buy the assets. The Two assets they have been buying since the Great Recession are the forementioned MBSs, but also U.S. Treasuries issued by the Federal Government. The Federal Government is also literally digitally typing, thereby creating U.S. Treasuries on their computer and selling them to the FRB who created the money out of thin air to buy them. Of course, if you or any other entity, except the Federal Reserve and Government, did this, they would be arrested for counterfeiting. The FRB and Government have long ago run out of real money to pay for the things they do and purchase. In economics, it is being called "Monetizing" the debt and in it is simply printing money as if a computer printer or printing press was used. As of August 26, 2020, the FRB balance sheet was at $6,975,315,000.00. With another $25 billion, which they have probably already spent, as of the morning August 28, I'm writing this, they will have topped the $7 trillion mark and with the Federal Government's Budget Deficit at $27 trillion, that's $34 trillion in total debt, the highest debtor nation ever in world history. The "Annual" Federal Budget this year alone is on track to top $4 trillion. The increase in total FRB and Federal Government debt since the Great Recession is 294%, the Greatest Economy Ever? |

| title | WhistleBlower dragged fro West Virginia State House |
| body | The corruption is so deep and blatant, it isn't even covered up anymore. I noticed the change in blatant actions like this about 15 years ago. The most interesting phenomenon to me was the adoption of the Whistle Blowers Protection Act. As soon as all the whistleblowers started coming forward or leaking information to groups like WikiLeaks, the pushback began with Obama prosecuting more whistleblowers than any prior President in history. It was as if they enacted it to purposefully bring them out and prosecute them to send a message to not fuck with the deep state. Jullian Assange of Wikileaks is still held up in the Ecuadorian Embassy for fear of extradition to the United States even though Trump stated a least five different occasions he "loved" Wikileaks, during his campaign. So, I just have to ask two questions: 1. How many of you saps voting for either Barrack Obama or Donald Trump? 2. Do you think it would be any different if either Hillary Clinton or John McCain would have been elected instead? So when people tell me they have "woken up" and are still buying the demopublican duopoly scam, it doesn't make me think fondly of them and more importantly, what makes them think they've been awoken. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=78&v=-Q94ft2ssqw |

One nation-state steals from their citizens to use the money to overthrow others either by direct force as in warfare or indirectly through installing those who align with them into positions of power. | body | I am finding Steemit both unintuitive and very limited. Even the directions/instructions and ability to give fee back is limited or non-existant I do not like Facebook but it has many cool features. You must have a feedback and suggestions box, if you want to be successful. I see the potential but I also see a lot of people posting and nothing else. I have found that instructions are one of the most important elements of any software application. Poor instructions lead to frustrations by users and if you provide no remedy they will go to another platform. Whether it is installing another hard drive on your computer or learning the various attributes of the real estate MLS platform. I have been a power user since 1986 with an Osborne and have worked on massive mortgage, appraisal, and real estate platform applications. I even designed one of the first mortgage origination software programs and used create space to publish my own book. Then, I noticed, all of a sudden, they did even call them programs anymore and everything is an application now. Sadly the software developers lag behind the hardware development because the software folks don't communicate enough with the end users. It reminds me of the rich and poor in this country. The developers are snobby and don't want to deal with the computer illiterates, even though they are the ones that they need to help them improve their software. The rich have lost touch with the poor and middle class and don't realize they need them both as consumers and workers and by putting too much taxation and regulations on the middle class they are destroying their ability to be quality consumers. If you tax people to hard they have no money to spend. |

| title | Increasing Inflation And The Perfect Storm |
| body | It's all about the money or as Deep Throat in the Watergate scandle stated, "follow the money". If anyone doesn't know, its the rise in the 10 year and 30 year U.S. Treasury Bonds yields, now at 2.83% and 3.14%, almost 1 % higher than a year ago that is spooking the world markets. Here are just a few reasons why. In economics today, we should really be saying "Follow the Debt" becasue the money is literally being created digitally by our government. The need for printing presses is pretty much obsolete. A one percent increase doesn't sound like much but it's an important indicator of rising inflation rates. The idea that the U.S. Government is over $20 trillion in debt and U.S. consumer debt is at an all-time high in most categories like credit cards, student loans, and auto loans, rising interest rates, even just 1% over a year, is in fact scarcely because of the potential reactions and adjustments other markets will need to make. The perfect storm, like in 2008, is again starting to form over our economic system with the lack of Treasury demand on everyone's radar. China has even publically stated, it will not be buying anymore. Japan is already up to their eyeballs in Treasury debt as well as their own bonds and commercial paper. Our Federal Reserve Bank and banks have them all over their balance sheets as does the Federal government itself. When there is limited demand, prices generally rise; a supply-demand function. Any investors will want higher yields on their investments which equates to lower treasury prices. This means interest rates will rise and the government will have to sell even more bonds to make up for the lower prices. Everyone around the world is asking themselves who is going to step up and by the Treasuries when their prices are falling. Who and why would anyone do such a thing unless they had to. The fact that the Government is not cutting spending and are actually increasing it and the recent tax cuts only exacerbate these problems. Our political system is increasing the debt at a time when demand for that debt is waining. Because of excess spending during teh Vietnam War, in 1973 the U.S. agreed to go off the gold standard during the oil embargo by OPEC, and Nixon decoupled gold set at $35 an ounce, from the USD and it started to float against gold and other currencies. By 1983 the USD has lost over 50% of its value and teh resultant double-digit inflation caused the interest rates on FNMA home mortgage loans to peak at about 14% before taking several years to come back to normalized rates of between 6% and 8% annually. Some of us older folks remember this tumultuous period in our economic history and it is not one that we would prefer to go through again. The storm is getting larger and well foormed because we did not learn from our history. As if the 1970s and 2000s were not good enough lessons, the political system has double our Treasury debt since 2008. .jpg) |

\n\nThe perfect storm, like in 2008, is again starting to form over our economic system with the lack of Treasury demand on everyone's radar. China has even publically stated, it will not be buying anymore. Japan is already up to their eyeballs in Treasury debt as well as their own bonds and commercial paper. Our Federal Reserve Bank and banks have them all over their balance sheets as does the Federal government itself. \n\nWhen there is limited demand, prices generally rise; a supply-demand function. \n\nThe fact that the Government is not cutting spending and are actually increasing it and the recent tax cuts only exacerbate these problems. Our political system is increasing the debt at a time when demand for that debt is waining. \n\nBecause of excess spending during teh Vietnam War, in 1973 the U.S. agreed to go off the gold standard during the oil embargo by OPEC, and Nixon decoupled gold set at $35 an ounce, from the USD and it started to float against gold and other currencies. By 1983 the USD has lost over 50% of its value and teh resultant double-digit inflation caused the interest rates on FNMA home mortgage loans to peak at about 14% before taking several years to come back to normalized rates of between 6% and 8% annually. \n\nSome of us older folks remember this tumultuous period in our economic history and it is not one that we would prefer to go through again. The storm is getting larger and well foormed because we did not learn from our history. As if the 1970s and 2000s were not good enough lessons, the political system has double our Treasury debt since 2008. .jpg)",

| body | Determining value in a limiting/controlled environment is a supply-demand function predicated on the need/usefulness of the product or service. That is why some governments and now companies like Facebook are creating various methodologies to divert/minimize/stop the use of cryptos. Everyone should have seen this coming and it will intensify as the central banksters and multinationals formulate and implement additional methods of minimizing participation. You all know cryptos are a direct compeditor to fiat currencies and stock markets. I am not insinuation this is a bad thing, quite the contrary. I personally like the idea of cryptos as a competitor to the printing presses of fiat currencies and fractional lending. My point here is value. How do you determine and thus increase value other then by increasing demand? Demand is limited to those who really need the cryptos to conduct commerce and trade. Investment is purely a function of trying to determine the social need. Investment for the reason of just return on investment creates a false sense of need in the market. I was a real estate appraiser for some 20 years and now a realtor. It is why I am probably so fixated on evaluation price and value. The recent run-up in the prices of cryptos reminded me of the irrational exuberance of the middle 2000s in real estate. It is impossible in my opinion unless the need for the product is somehow stimulated and the pushback from fiat competitors is thawarted for anyone to know if the price will rise or fall. | title | A World History of Tax Rebellions: An Encyclopedia of Tax Rebels, Revolts, and Riots from Antiquity to the Present |
| body | By David. F. Burg Read preview Synopsis A World History of Tax Rebellions is an exhaustive reference source for over 4,300 years of riots, rebellions, protests, and war triggered by abusive taxation and tax collecting systems around the world. Each of the chronologically arranged entries focuses on a specific historical event, analyzing its roots, and socio-economic context. Excerpt A World History of Tax Rebellions: An Encyclopedia of Tax Rebels, Revolts, and Riots from Antiquity to the Present provides a historical context to the long struggle against the payment of taxes through examples of tax rebellions throughout world history. Because taxation has often been onerous, and in many cases excessive and cruel, reaction to its enforcement has been consistent, heated, and even violent. Tax revolts or protests date at least to the Later Han dynasty (AD 25-AD 220) in Asia, to the era of Hammurabi (1792-1750 BC) in Babylon, and to the Roman Empire (27 BC-AD 337) in Europe. They persist to the present, as evidenced by Proposition 13 in California and similar subsequent tax reversal initiatives. Many major historic events, such as the Magna Carta, the American Revolution, and the French Revolution of 1789 originated largely as tax revolts. This circumstance alone suggests that tax revolts and tax protests are far more complex than the terms themselves imply-their motivations and ramifications most often go well beyond issues of taxation or even still broader economic considerations. Thus tax revolts and protests frequently subsume larger economic, political, social, and even religious issues. Taxation often simply provides the ostensible cause for protest and insurrection, especially since taxes afford a ubiquitous, detested, and identifiable target of opposition. The underlying issues motivating the tax protesters may be too diverse, complex, or subtle to evoke the clear focus needed for effective protest; but nearly everyone understands taxes at the most personal and visceral level. Most people also apparently chafe under the perception of taxes as an inescapable burden, irritant, or inequity. As Benjamin Franklin's dictum states, "in this world nothing is certain but death and taxes," and many citizens at certain times may have felt that the possibility of escaping the former actually seemed greater than that for the latter. Taxes, however, are at least corporate and tangible-almost everyone pays them, usually in hard currency or goods-so that disgruntlement and objection come easily. Franklin's dictum is, of course, based on historic reality. Taxes appear to have coincided with the beginnings of advanced civilization. The ancient states of Persia, Greece, Egypt, and Rome all had sources of revenue based on forms of taxation, ultimately including taxes on real property, sales, and inheritances and customs duties. Unfortunately, official or other documents for many ancient nations or regions have been long since lost to time and decay, so that there is no way of knowing about either their systems of taxation or any possible protests. Furthermore, the extant historic records for many of these ancient states are skimpy, providing incomplete information at best. Consequently, events from the Middle Ages to the present compose the bulk of this book. A World History of Tax Rebellions: An Encyclopedia of Tax Rebels, Revolts, and Riots from Antiquity to the Present contains entries categorized into different time periods and arranged in chronological order; entries on individuals involved in those revolts; an appendix that lists entries by country or region; a general bibliography; and an analytical index. The entries are global in scope and range in time from antiquity to the present. Included are entries depicting not only openly rebellious events but also orderly protests and forms of avoidance. Avoidance, although perhaps not overtly insurrectionist, has been a significant act of resistance to taxation, especially if it results in changes to laws or policies governing tax systems. Each entry concisely traces the origins of a particular tax revolt SHOW MORE |
