bodyInternally, SSA is a big mess when it comes to Asian-American federal employees working for the Social Security Administration as they are being discriminated at an alarming rate. SSA has been a declining federal agency which has always touting social assistance and societal equality but the unwelcoming disrespect and the hostility is worsening. The ethnic rank-and-file who do not belong to one of the BIG THREE group are feeling the heated aggression big time including from their own AFGE union reps against lower-level Asian-American field employees. It is so rampant that it forcibly pitted some tokenly chosen Asian-American supervisors to be equally or exceeded the viciousness toward these unrepresented employees. Based on this discriminatory culture, it is the only way for many SSA supervisors to prove their management prowess and self-worth recognition by harassing other Asian-American employees. The agency would also look the other way when it comes to lack promotion or retention of those Asian-Americans who are promoted. From Boston to Dallas/Fort Worth Area field offices and throughout, the worst places for those unfortunate Asian employees. This whole unchecked discriminatory culture within a much declining USA federal government agency.

bodyEarlier, I mentioned "ID Chief" out of China, who was recommended as a good source for quality fake ID cards. However, I see that their site appears to be down. Since I am not in the habit of purchasing these things, I'd encourage you to reply with any real-life experiences with other Fake ID Card sites. There are plenty of offerings on the darkweb, but quality is, of course, a key issue. Thasnks! This blog is in its early stages, but the goal remains the same-- turning this space into an ever-evolving, interactive privacy resource. ![51SPvltrNHL._SX355_.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQymqrCtbQYQWAedkz2H9p2Sb52X9nbi3cGNHmzXqQoVA/51SPvltrNHL._SX355_.jpg)

bodyPanda12, My system involves a 2-step approach to dealing with the government and other entities as far as your SSN is required. Unless you aspire to be a total outlaw, use your "official" SSN where you absolutely HAVE to (W2 forms and so forth) but feel free to to employ some creativity where you don't. While the IRS needs to have your "real" SSN, your apartment complex does not. It's all about creating misdirection.

bodyI'm a Privacy Consultant who wrote a book, “Anonymous You”. Prior to publication, I had a change of heart and decided to break my manuscript into a series of Steemit posts. It is hoped that my small corner of Steemit can grow into a complete, ever-evolving privacy resource. Strategies will change as circumstances change- guided by the personal experiences of users. Sound like a plan? Then subscribe, up-vote, and comment as you see fit! This post concludes the “Who Are You” section, an extensive discussion of personal identity documents that will be key for anybody looking to mask, alter, or bury their identity. This is where the “meat” of my system begins. If it grabs you, then feel free to go back and read the previous posts, which are basically introductory/ background stuff. Definitions for terms like “Virtual Self” and “Person Of Record” can be found in the Seven Principles of Privacy sections, which precede this one. Interested in this topic? body![anonymityjljljl.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmUi8RJbjexJXseXgj6ZyUHj3PTzb9Gu9RGDD5YYye3fmW/anonymityjljljl.jpg) Easily fabricated, school records can be valuable supporting documentation, adding heft to a "Virtual Self." To get a general idea what old transcripts and records look like, obtain your own from the school you personally attended. Here's a piece of devious thinking: If a circumstance presented itself where your school records no longer existed, nothing you represented as being "yours" could be disproven, right? So one might be inclined to look for a situation where a high school was destroyed since your purported year of graduation. Googling "school fire," "schools destroyed by fire" or some other variant will unearth many possibilities.(Community High School in Westwood New Jersey is an example, as long as your year of graduation was prior to 1998.) If you're claiming to be from the Midwest, that's tornado country. Twisters always seem to head straight for local schools after they've had their way with the trailer parks. Or so it seems... You could also select a school from a district that, since your year of graduation, has ceased to exist or has merged with a neighboring system. Although all records should have been transferred, you could plausibly claim that those of a Virtual Self must have gotten lost in the shuffle. - LIBRARY CARD This worthwhile piece of secondary ID can usually be obtained without a photo identification. In my town at least, a utility bill in your name will work fine. If you need to actually check out books-- especially controversial ones-- always use a "Virtual You" library card that can't be traced back to Person of Record. - BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES While a baptismal certificate might get you past a landlord, it doesn't carry much weight with officialdom, despite the claims of outdated "new identity" books. Neither the DMV nor Social Security will accept one for identification purposes. Still, you'll find some impressive-looking ones on the Internet. In some locales, especially the south, a family bible serves as supporting documentation. In the days before birth and death certificates, family arrivals and departures were recorded here. Old family bibles can be purchased in used bookstores or on e-bay, and there's probably room for Elmer's name. But if you decide to take a pass on this one due to the borderline blasphemous overtones, I understand completely. If you choose the "spiritual" route, here's another possibility: become an ordained minister. The Universal Life Church will ordain anybody, on-line and for free, no ID required. They make their money by selling certificates, identity cards and so forth. Need we say more? - PERSONALIZED CLOTHING Monogrammed sweaters, work shorts and jackets emblazoned with the name of a Virtual Self can serve as psychologically powerful supporting ID. If you're trying to pass yourself off as "Elmer Fudd" but have spotty paperwork, wearing a golf shirt with "Fudd" emblazoned over the pocket adds credibility. In a thrift shop, I once spotted a bunch of khaki oxford shirts sporting the logo of a major local bank. I had a seamstress embroider the names of some virtual selves on the opposite side. Very effective. Even a work name tag can go a long way towards establishing identity. In a low-impact encounter where you’re passing yourself off as Elmer Fudd, a personalized badge pinned to a golf shirt makes it appear as if you just got off work.

body![Document.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmX1K85gapnjMY2jWJpmZsUMbv2EhkkRX5mwx9E2DjM5wf/Document.jpg) WHO ARE YOU: Passports and Tax Documents This is a wonderful piece of identification to have, but getting one in a name other than Person of Record's is a high-risk venture. In the post-911 world, passports fall under the auspices of Homeland Security, and passport fraud is a matter taken very seriously. But even if you have no intention of traveling internationally, it's still a good idea to have one. When Person of Record needs ironclad, government-minted identification, a passport is the most privacy-friendly of all, since it does not show your Social Security number or street address. Although driver's license information is entered into numerous databases, passport numbers are not commonly circulated and pretty much stay with the federal government. The downside: all passports contain biometric chips. These chips hold (or soon will) a digitized image of your fingerprints and passport photo, as well as whatever else the government has managed to dream up. Retina scan? Semen sample? This is another good reason why a passport should be sought only in the name of Person of Record. How could you possibly explain a perfect match between Elmer Fudd's passport biometrics and those of your Person of Record-- without employing some far-flung "parallel universe" theory? Not going to happen... While not normally thought of as "ID", tax documents can be effective personal identification for a Virtual Self, and are particularly useful for "proving" the bona fides of a freshly-created LLC (Limited Liability Company. More on this later). If you go to the IRS's website (or a nearby office) official, impressive-looking forms are yours for the asking-- W2's. 1040's, 1099's.... whatever. Fill them out in any name you choose (got an old-school typewriter handy?) then plug in any numbers which reinforce whatever point you're trying to make. As long as these forms are never filed, they're mere pieces of paper. If it suits your identification needs, why not have your LLC issue W-21’s to its "employees"-- your virtual selves? Keep one folded in your wallet.

In the post-911 world, passports fall under the auspices of Homeland Security, and passport fraud is a matter taken very seriously. But even if you have no intention of traveling internationally, it's still a good idea to have one. \nWhen Person of Record needs ironclad, government-minted identification, a passport is the most privacy-friendly of all, since it does not show your Social Security number or street address. Although driver's license information is entered into numerous databases, passport numbers are not commonly circulated and pretty much stay with the federal government.\nThe downside: all passports contain biometric chips. These chips hold (or soon will) a digitized image of your fingerprints and passport photo, as well as whatever else the government has managed to dream up. Retina scan? Semen sample? This is another good reason why a passport should be sought only in the name of Person of Record. How could you possibly explain a perfect match between Elmer Fudd's passport biometrics and those of your Person of Record-- without employing some far-flung \"parallel universe\" theory? Not going to happen...\nWhile not normally thought of as \"ID\", tax documents can be effective personal identification for a Virtual Self, and are particularly useful for \"proving\" the bona fides of a freshly-created LLC (Limited Liability Company. If it suits your identification needs, why not have your LLC issue W-21’s to its \"employees\"-- your virtual selves? Keep one folded in your wallet.",

When you were in high school you could order them out of the back of Rolling Stone and buy beer with relative impunity. You sent in a passport photo and they'd return a plausible-looking ID card from the state of your choosing. A dead ringer for the real deal? Of course not. But nobody particularly cared, since you were trying to pass off a fake Vermont ID in North Carolina, where a clerk rarely saw the real thing. Today, fake ID cards are of vastly superior quality, but it's extremely difficult to actually purchase one. And books and websites with real-life exemplars of ID from every site are readily available. Federal law now prohibits anybody in the United States from manufacturing or selling any product that mimics any state ID. Briefly, the action moved to Canadian companies-- until Canada likewise outlawed the practice. Today, there are no legitimate producers of "state ID" cards in the U.S. or Canada, although a search on "fake ID" would lead you to believe otherwise. But place an order, and your money will likely disappear. Or you might receive a generic, cheaply laminated card featuring your name and vital statistics on a plain white background in a generic l2-point font that looks it came off an IBM Selectric typewriter, which it probably did. Yes, it's an "ID Card," and no laws were broken (since the company sent you something, and it looks nothing like anything issued by any state). But the damn thing couldn't get you into a cockfight… But here's the tricky part: while "fake ID" offers are generally scams, there is some terrific work being done offshore. The potential for getting ripped off, however, remains high. Further complicating the scene is the simple fact that the fake ID industry is something of a "movable feast." Old sites are continuously shutting down, replacement or new ones springing up. “Review sites”-- websites that purport to be the "Consumer Reports" of the fake ID realm cannot be trusted. Many of them are run by the scammers and operate for the sole purpose of hyping their own reputation and slamming competitors, some of whom might actually be the good guys. A good fake ID card will cost $75.00 to $200.00. It will have digital holograms and be made of PVC plastic similar to credit cards. I've heard good reports about is "ID Chief" in China (www.idchief.ch). Along with a money order, you send them with a scanned photo, a name, an address, and a signature. There are others, and Googling will reveal the current crop. Let the buyer beware... All things being equal, it's hard to believe that any mail order ID could ever be a dead ringer for an officially-issued one. If you choose to go this route, never show your fake ID to a cop. No matter how impressive the hologram or the print quality, the moment your name is run, it will be obvious that the information on the card does not match what the government has on file. These cards, however, can be extremely useful in retail-type situations. For best results, keep your fake ID in your wallet behind a cloudy piece of plastic, which tends to obscure any discrepancies between it and the real thing. Few busy clerks will make you remove it from behind the plastic. Generally, clerks do not scrutinize ID; their job is to simply make sure you have it. Usually, they'll just jot down the number or key it in, since that's what the boss requires. - HOMEMADE ID CARDS For an investment of a couple or three hundred dollars, you can buy a PVC printer bundled with software that enables you to print your own photo IDs onto hard, credit-card stock similar to that used by the DMV. State-issued IDs are so complex and have so many security features that it is extremely difficult-- if not impossible-- for a novice to make a passible version at home. But other IDs are simple to make, especially if there is no familiar "standard" to which they can be compared. We're talking company IDs or membership identification for clubs and fraternal organizations. If Acme Aerospace is a big local employer, it wouldn't require much time or talent to snag the logo from their website and burn it onto a home-brewed ID card-- featuring Elmer's smiling face.

body![imklklkl.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZMQSwrjhm8KWsvHV1khPbaMMcaf8VwvKAVK7sninz9S5/imklklkl.jpg) When Social Security was introduced in 1935, privacy advocates of the era feared this number would eventually be used as a national identifier. Although Social Security cards plainly stated that the number was "Not for Identification," those nine digits have evolved into... well, let's just come right out and say it: your federal serial number. Today, we face significant pressure to part with our Social Security number. No number? Then no job, no bank account, no driver's license. This number is widely circulated and available to anybody. The Internet will even unearth one for Microsoft founder Bill Gates (539-60-5125), since any officer of a public company is required to submit a Social Security number along with the company's SEC filings, which becomes public information. Like Warren Buffet, for example (579-40-8717). In terms of privacy encroachment, the Social Security system has been a slippery slope-- in the wrong direction: In 1962, the IRS started requiring Social Security numbers on tax returns. By 1970, all banks were required to obtain them from customers. In 1971, mi1itary ID numbers were changed to Social Security numbers. Beginning in 1982, recipients of any sort of government program were required to obtain one. The final blow was struck in (how appropriate!) 1984: any person declared a dependent on an IRS return was suddenly required to have a Social Security number, resulting in millions of "kids" disappearing from their “parents” returns between tax years '84 and '85. Pre 1980's, you generally got a Social Security number in your teens in anticipation of your first job. Now, the application is part of the maternity ward's paperwork package. Intend to keep your pursuit of privacy completely legal? Then retain Person of Record's Social Security number. But (just like his driver's license) use it judiciously, and strictly on a need-to-know basis. Except for banks (which are required to file documentation to the IRS) you have no obligation to disclose your Social Security number to any private company-- unless they're hiring you. By federal law, any government agency (federal, state, or local) or state university accepting federal funds must tell you whether disclosure of your Social Security number is optional or required, what statute requires the number, how they intend to use it, and the consequences for refusal to cough it up. If you're a do-it-yourselfer, the creation of a plausible Social Security number involves a bit more than dreaming up nine random digits then blocking them off with a couple of dashes. The numerical sequences and the manner in which they are arranged (xxx-xx-xxxx) indicate where and when the number was issued and whether or not it's valid. The first chunk of a Social Security number (the "area" segment) is composed of three digits that indicate the state from which the number was issued (with the exception of the 700 series, which is reserved for special situations such as railroad workers). For example, numbers beginning with 523 or 529 were issued in Utah, which would expose the lie of a person claiming to have been born in Delaware-- for which the proper prefix would be 221 or 222. The middle segment (known as the "group" or "block" segment) consists of two digits keyed to the state and year of issue, breaking the numbers from each geographical area into groups. For example, if our Utahan had a Social Security number beginning with "528" and his middle digits were "23", these 5 digits, working together, signify a number issued in Utah in 1977. The last segment (the "serial" segment) consists of four digits and is used to serialize the 9999 numbers within each group. Dream up any four digits, plug them into this segment, and you'll have a number that will generally pass muster. But if the finished product is currently in use by another living American, you might have some explaining to do. Avoid this problem by verifying your new number through www.informus.com/ssnllkup.htnl. There is a small fee for this service. A search on "Social Security number distribution" will reveal numerous websites providing tables needed to construct plausible numbers. Some key information along these lines (but not all oF it, unfortunately) is available from the Social Security Administration itself: www.ssa.gov/foia. Similar to using a birth certificate not originally issued to you, there is no penalty for giving a false Social Security number-- as long as there's no attempt to deceive a government agency, commit fraud, or obtain a specific benefit. Although it's illegal for a private company to sell look-alike driver's licenses or state ID cards, the same does not hold true for Social Security cards. Several companies will print any Social Security number you designate on a card that looks similar to a government-issued one. While it's possible to get a new Social Security number directly from the government, this is a daunting task. New numbers can be issued to abused individuals hiding from a vindictive ex (but be prepared to pony up plenty of official documentation), a person who has been relocated with a new identity under the Federal Witness Protection Program, or somebody who has been the victim of identity theft (and can prove it). But being issued a new Social Security number-- like legally changing your name-- is of marginal benefit to privacy seekers. As with a legal name change, the new number will linked to the old, at least in government databases. Back in the 1960's and 701s, draft dodgers seeking a fresh start could score a new number by crossing their fingers and telling Social Security they'd never been issued one in the first place. That their parents had been missionaries in the Congo or some such. But these days, computer databases make it extremely easy for the government (or anybody else) to vet dodgy backstories. Unlike the good old days, anybody eighteen or older who is seeking a first-time number is now required to appear in person at a local Social Security office (with their birth certificate) and sign a scary-looking affidavit certifying they've never been issued a card. You're also required to prove legal custody of any children for whom you are trying to obtain a number. While counterfeit birth certificates can be purchased on the internet (or are easy enough to make), any attempt to use one to procure a new Social Security number will result in a rejection letter stating that the birth certificate cannot be verified. Like so many other "Get A New ID' maneuvers, the classic method for obtaining a bootleg, government-minted Social Security number no longer works. Called the 'dead baby' method (charming name, no?) it involved obtaining the birth certificate of somebody close to your own age who'd died young. Armed with the birth certificate, you then applied for a Social Security number. But since these numbers have been issued in infancy since the 1990's (long before the current crop of 15 and 17 year-olds were born) it's difficult to find a former dead baby who hadn't been issued a social security number before he'd graduated to solid food... But here's a loophole (isn't there always?). As long as the applicant is under 18, application for a Social Security card can be made by U.S. Mail. You are required to submit your birth certificate and some other form of identity, such as a driver's license, medical records, school records, federal or state ID card, passport, school ID card, or report card. Obviously, the latter two would be the easiest to fabricate. But scoring a Social Security number by providing a birth certificate, then writing in and pretending you're an eighth grader whose parents, presumably, were Tunisian missionaries during your infancy creates new problems. Since the previously described birthdate/ birthplace coding of all Socia1 Security numbers are available on the Internet, it's a sure bet that the DMV and your bank also access this data. If an applicant appearing to be in his forties attempts to open a bank account with a Social Security number issued 3 months ago, it could raise red flags. This is yet another reason why the Anonymous You concept does not revolve around changing your identity, but rather using the one you were born with for use when absolutely required-- then living under made-up "Virtual Selves" the majority of the time. Should you ever feel the temptation, never use the Social Security number of a deceased person. When somebody dies, the Social Security death benefit is claimed. This signals the Feds to retire the number, which is eventually re-assigned. Credit reporting agencies cross-reference the Social Security Death Index; so if a proffered number reveals in attempt to transact business from beyond the grave, expect the application or transaction to be flagged for suspected fraud. Finally, here's a creative (but admittedly "out there") way to refuse divulging your Social Security number: In the case of Leahy v. District of Columbia, a federal court upheld John Leahy's religious objection to revealing his Social Security number to the DMV, based on his heartfelt belief that said number represented "The Mark of the Beast”. But even though the DMV can no longer compel you to part with your "Mark of the Beast," they already have reams of personal information about you-- including your picture, date of birth, and maybe even your fingerprint. So obtaining your Social Security number from a source other than yourself would be simple. And a maneuver like that of Mr. Leahy's carries an astronomical 'Asshole Factor", working against the pursuit of a low-key existence. For the majority of us, the most practical straddle is to give the government any information they require for anything conferring a benefit we deem worthy of the intrusion. For most of us, this includes driving or accessing health care. But after surrendering what is needed to score the benefit, we can quietly reclaim our privacy through the back door-- by living the majority of our lives "off the record"-- as Virtual Selves.

\nThis is yet another reason why the Anonymous You concept does not revolve around changing your identity, but rather using the one you were born with for use when absolutely required-- then living under made-up \"Virtual Selves\" the majority of the time.\nShould you ever feel the temptation, never use the Social Security number of a deceased person. When somebody dies, the Social Security death benefit is claimed. This signals the Feds to retire the number, which is eventually re-assigned. Credit reporting agencies cross-reference the Social Security Death Index; so if a proffered number reveals in attempt to transact business from beyond the grave, expect the application or transaction to be flagged for suspected fraud.\nFinally, here's a creative (but admittedly \"out there\") way to refuse divulging your Social Security number: In the case of Leahy v. District of Columbia, a federal court upheld John Leahy's religious objection to revealing his Social Security number to the DMV, based on his heartfelt belief that said number represented \"The Mark of the Beast”. But even though the DMV can no longer compel you to part with your \"Mark of the Beast,\" they already have reams of personal information about you-- including your picture, date of birth, and maybe even your fingerprint. So obtaining your Social Security number from a source other than yourself would be simple. And a maneuver like that of Mr. Leahy's carries an astronomical 'Asshole Factor\", working against the pursuit of a low-key existence. \nFor the majority of us, the most practical straddle is to give the government any information they require for anything conferring a benefit we deem worthy of the intrusion. For most of us, this includes driving or accessing health care. But after surrendering what is needed to score the benefit, we can quietly reclaim our privacy through the back door-- by living the majority of our lives \"off the record\"-- as Virtual Selves.",

body![labyrinths-of-love-5-1236366-638x386.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXeFH5oiq49amriV5YB4srRVXLW9bPUMjZLAxkEKa99xY/labyrinths-of-love-5-1236366-638x386.jpg) Rather than running the risk of trying to get a new license issued in the name of a Virtual Self (an undertaking that is almost always illegal), continue driving as Person of Record, unless running your license during a traffic stop would light up NCIC database like a pinball machine. These days, your driver's license gets a healthy workout, mostly in circumstances that have nothing to do with traffic enforcement. So a practitioner of enhanced anonymity should always keep his safely tucked away unless confronted with a situation where producing it is absolutely required. Be aware that there is no law compelling you to carry a driver's license (or any other identification document) unless you are actually driving. Some bureaucrats are in favor of a domestic environment resembling Zimbabwe's (where it's compulsory to carry I.D. at all times or face a fine or imprisonment), But there is little chance that post-Snowden American would tolerate such a requirement. Still, the idea of a National Identity Card has been kicked around for years. Although the concept appeared to gain traction following 9/11, it was effectively blocked by civil libertarians. In mid-2002, the "Driver's License Modernization Act" would have set uniform standards for all licenses and established a national database and identification system. Although this bill ended up going nowhere, its proponents tried again- with the "Real ID Act," designed to standardize licenses and make them acceptable for "official purposes" such as entering a federal building or boarding a commercial airliner. Although 'Real ID' passed, states balked (not due to privacy concerns, but because of the cost of implementation) and it was quietly phased out. Nonetheless, a de-facto National ID system is already in place. Practically speaking, there is little difference between having a single federally-issued ID card and the current system of 50 interconnected, state-issued ones. Thanks to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and your Social Security number, if you're driving on an Ohio license, a cop in Wisconsin will, the moment he runs your name, know if you have an outstanding warrant in Missouri. But what about doing it the old fashioned way—by bribing the DMV. You know, the old, “Hey… I know a guy” routine. One of the most persistent ID urban legends is that the DMV, Social Security, or Bureau of Vital Statistics are rife with corrupt employees who will put their careers (or liberty) in jeopardy by running custom-order bootleg licenses or paperwork for shady individuals. But post-911 security measures have sharply curtailed the practice and ratcheted up the penalties. These days, few DMV employees enjoy the kind of access required to engineer production of a license without any assistance from co-workers or other departments. In some states, a driver (especially a first-time applicant) no longer walks out of the DMV with his permanent license. The clerk takes your application, then transmits it along with your photo to an off-site, security-aware company that handles the actual production of licenses for several states. There, the information you've provided is vetted against other databases. If everything checks out, your license will be mailed. And Mr. Elmer Fudd, in all probability, will not be getting one. Still, the "I know a guy" notion persists. Just slip a couple of Franklins to some guy in a bar, then go to the DMV and see Vinnie at window three. Hey... this particular down-low could be on the up and up. But it might be a scam. Vinnie could be under observation for having pulled this sort of thing in the past. Or Vinnie could be seeking to better his position at the DMV by setting you up. Best advice here is that if you "know a guy," make sure you really know this guy. If you have experiences to the contrary- please respond and let us know! Perhaps theres a particular state or county that has a shockingly lax policy towards issuing licences. If so, don’t keep the info to yourself!

bodyI don't know a lot about specific identity documents and so forth in the Commonwealths, but would imagine that the principles are applicable, after some local tweaking. Most of these strategies involve quietly manipulating the system, so in just about any Western-style democracy, they could be retrofitted to work. But my main idea is to provide a forum for others to discuss what they know and what they've tried-- so any reader commentary regarding non-US democracies is certainly welcome. Thanks for reading!

bodyHi Gene! My blog is a arunning, sequential series of posts, taken from a book I wrote. But rather than publishing it as on old-school, I'm trying to present this information in blog form in the hopes of engaging others who have experience doing these types of things. Any uncertainty can probably be cleared up by reading previous posts you may have missed. Addressing your specific question: "ACTUAL YOU"- Is the living, breathing flesh-and-blood entity currently reading this post-- regardless of your name or how you are known to the government. "PERSON OF RECORD"- This is Actual You, as known by your "real name." The name by which you are plugged into officialdom, such as the DMV and your state's Bureau of Vital Statistics. "VIRTUAL SELF"- A made-up name (or names) underwhich you might be living, working or transacting business, or by which you socially introduce yourself. Total privacy is probably impossible, especially if the Government has a specific intrest in you, specifically. For the rest of us, I believe that sufficient privacy can be achieved through obfuscation and misdirection to meet the needs of most. Thanks for commenting, and keep reading!

bodyI am assuming you are speaking from a US residence perspective. I read your article and found it somewhat hard to follow, although I only give my phone # when I am expecting a response. The other stuff you describe about 'actual you and person of record tied to a physical address was a little too much for me to comprehend, I am a firm believer in privacy, however in today's world is it even attainable?
