Tensions have flared again following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Indian-administered Kashmir, on **April 22, 2025**. The attack **claimed 26 lives**, predominantly Hindu civilians, and sparked a severe reaction from India.\n\n#### Operation Sindoor:\n\nIn retaliation, India launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of **May 7, 2025**. The Indian military targeted nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir, claiming these were terrorist infrastructure used to plan and execute attacks against India.
