      "body": "Muchas gracias por tus palabras amiga sara! Así es, tomar las medidas de seguridad es de suma importancia para protegernos y proteger a los nuestros. La partida de mi tía nos golpeó. Aunque tal y como lo dices, nuestro mayor consuelo es que su alma reposa en un mejor lugar y nos cuida desde donde esté. \n\nMi hermano si es un gran ser humano, ha demostrado ser muy buen hijo. Sus actos para mí son de inspiración. Y como lo dije, la mayor recompensa es que no fue en vano todo ese esfuerzo ya que mi papá salió victorioso. \n\nLa situación de mi otra tia infectada con el virus aún está tambaleante, pero seguimos haciendo todo lo posible para cumplir al pie de la letra su tratamiento.       "body": "Wow amiga que historia, es realmente fuerte el covid. Por eso en el mundo se dedicaron hacer un gran campaña para protegerse y evitar el contagio. Cada vez que salgamos a la calle debemos cuidarnos, no solo por nosotros si no por nuestros viejitos que nos esperan en casa y nuestros niños. \n\nEs triste lo de la perdida de tu tia realmente triste, seguro esta en un lugar mejor y cuidando a todos los miembro de su familia.\n\nTu hermano es una gran persona al parecer, fue muy resposable y atento al dedicarle ese amor y atencion en un momento dificil a esa persona que le dio la vida. Realmente no se que haria si mi papi estuviera en esa situacion.\n\nDios todo lo ve y sabe lo que hace y por algo ayudo a tu papa a salir victorioso del covid. \n\nCon respecto a tu otra tia, realmente de corazon espero que mejore y que la presencia de su hijo que tenia mucho tiempo sin ver, la haga sentir mucho mejor. \n\nDios bendiga a toda tu familia.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\nSe que he estado algo ausente por acá. Los ultimos dos meses han sido algo fuertes. En esta ocasión haré un post algo personal.\n\nHace dos meses mi papá contrajo covid. Al principio no lo sabíamos, pero poco a poco fueron surgiendo los sintomas uno tras otro. Aunque no tuvo todos los sintomas igual ya era algo previsible lo que se avecinaba. \n\nEn mi caso me tocó afrontar junto a uno de mis hermanos mayores con toda esta odisea. Mi otro hermano mayor @gpwar se encuentra en otro país (colombia) y entre los 3 y mi mamá estuvimos haciendo todo lo posible para cubrir todo lo que mi papá necesitaba para su mejora.  Aunque mi papá no vive en la misma casa que nosotros mi hermano mayor @ceparl quien sigue acá con nosotros en venezuela, iba diariamente a estar con él, llevarle comida y estar pendiente de llevarlo a las consultas, comprar los medicamentos y atento de darle todo a mi papá al pie de la letra segun lo indicado por el medico. \n\n> I know I've been a bit absent here. The last two months have been a bit tough. This time I will make a somewhat personal post.\n\n> Two months ago my dad contracted covid. At first we didn't know it, but little by little the symptoms came one after the other. Even though he didn't have all the symptoms, it was already foreseeable what was coming. \n\n> In my case I had to face this whole odyssey together with one of my older brothers. My other older brother @gpwar is in another country (Colombia) and between the 3 of us and my mom we were doing everything possible to cover everything my dad needed for his improvement.  Although my dad does not live in the same house as us my older brother @ceparl who is still here with us in venezuela, was going daily to be with him, bring him food and be aware of taking him to the consultations, buy medicines and attentive to give everything to my dad to the letter as prescribed by the doctor. \n\n<center> ![ROSA HISTORIA COVID2.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmWsBHYL8HMHaRJb1SzhePXrfJyZoPHqwNccK7WbdRZDtu/ROSA%20HISTORIA%20COVID2.png) </center> \n\n\n\nEl inicio fue hace 2 meses cuando mi papá comenzó con una leve tos, dolores de cabeza, malestar general, a los pocos días la tos fue aumentando y empezó a sentirse mas debil. Lo llevamos al centro de atención local donde realizan las pruebas covid. Primero le hicieron la prueba de antigenos y salió negativo. Pero los sintomas persistieron y al siguiente día le hicimos la PCR. ¿Sabes que es increible?  los resultados de esa prueba fueron revelados luego de 3 semanas finalmente reflejando positivo. Aunque previamente a esas 3 semanas ya habíamos empezado con el tratamiento para covid. Al principio fueron tes calientes caseros, vitaminas y antibioticos leves, la siguiente semana el tratamiento cambió a mayormente antibioticos mas fuertes a través de una vía intravenosa conservando algunas vitaminas. \n\nLuego de realizarle unos RX periodicamente donde se veían los pulmones afectados fue cuando nos vimos mas convencidos de que el covid había llegado a mi papá. \n\nHubo un momento en el que perdió el olfato, el gusto y el apetito. No quería comer nada, solo tomaba algunos jugos y agua. Comía una vez al día y una pequeña ración. Se desanimó mucho. Llegó un momento que tuvimos que practicamente obligarlo a comer para evitar mas complicaciones. Así estuvo durante 3 días hasta que los medicamentos y conversaciones empezaron a hacer efecto. Luego empezó a comer solo cereal con leche y galletas. Y la misma ración de comida. \n\n\n\nLa siguiente semana recuperó un poco el apetito y comenzó a comer su comida en raciones un poco mayores. Pero sin poder saborearla debido al mismo sintoma. Estuvimos en ese plan durante 17 días. Luego de eso además de su apetito también empezó a recuperar su olfato y sabor. \n\nA pesar de ello la neumonía seguía teniendo fuerza, y sus dolores de cabeza diariamente. Una tos muy grave que no lo dejaba en paz. Luego de 25 días los medicamentos ya estaban tomando mas terreno y comenzó a mostrar mas mejoría. La tos ya había reducido en un gran nivel. Los siguientes días tocaba llevarlo a hacerle otros RX y fue cuando vimos que los pulmones estaban menos afectados. Eso fue una pequeña luz luego de tanta oscuridad. \n\n> The onset was 2 months ago when my dad started with a mild cough, headaches, general malaise, a few days later the cough increased and he started to feel weaker. We took him to the local care center where they do the covid tests. First they did an antigen test and it was negative. But the symptoms persisted and the next day we did the PCR test. You know what is amazing? the results of that test were revealed after 3 weeks and finally came back positive. Although prior to those 3 weeks we had already started treatment for covid. At first it was homemade hot teas, vitamins and mild antibiotics, the next week the treatment changed to mostly stronger antibiotics through an IV while keeping some vitamins. \n\n> After periodically performing X-rays where we could see the affected lungs, we became more convinced that the covid had gotten to my dad. \n\n> There was a moment when he lost his sense of smell, taste and appetite. He didn't want to eat anything, he only drank some juices and water. He ate once a day and a small portion. He became very discouraged. At one point we had to practically force him to eat to avoid further complications. He stayed that way for 3 days until the medications and conversations started to take effect. Then he started eating only cereal with milk and cookies. And the same food ration.\n\n\n\n> The following week she regained her appetite a little and began to eat her food in slightly larger portions. But he could not taste it due to the same symptom. We were on that plan for 17 days. After that in addition to his appetite he also started to regain his sense of smell and taste. \n\n> In spite of that the pneumonia was still going strong, and his headaches daily. En el ultimo RX sus pulmones ya se veían bastante recuperados. Tales 45 días fueron de muchos altibajos ya que habían días que mostraba mejorías y al siguiente se descompensaba. Llegó a bajar 5kg los cuales ha estado recuperando desde que su salud ha mejorado. Hoy en día mi papá luce muy diferente. \n\nFueron momentos fuertes, preocupaciones, trasnochos, gastamos todos nuestros ahorros en el tratamiento y cuidado de mi papá. Pero agradezco a Dios porque teniamos esos ahorros en ese momento. Admiro a mi hermano por hacer frente el solo de tal manera con el cuidado de mi papá día, tarde y noche. Tenía 71 años. A pesar de que recibió un gran apoyo por parte de mis primos y buen cuidado por mis tias y tios, no lograron ganar la batalla contra el virus. Fue un momento de union familiar para darnos fuerzas en su partida. Era una tia muy cariñosa, aunque tenía su caracter fuerte, siempre velaba porque todos estuvieramos bien y muy bondadosa. Luchó incansablemente por darle un buen futuro a mi prima, ahora mi prima está viviendo con su abuelo. Usualmente  hablo con ella, somos muy buenas amigas. Espero que todo lo que mi tia le enseñó e hizo por ella tenga sus frutos mas adelante, y el espiritu de mi tia desde donde esté la siga guiando y protegiendo.\n\n\n\n> ### The thin line between covid and death.\n\n> An of my aunts died about 1 month ago from the covid. Ya tiene una semana desde que a través de los RX y los sintomas que presentaba lo determinaron los medicos que la examinaron, actualmente continúa con un tratamiento muy fuerte y muy costoso además de las terapias con oxigeno.\n\nElla es una mujer muy valiente, la admiro porque en su juventud trabajó incansablemente para darle una buena vida a mi primo, además de costear todos sus estudios hasta la universidad. Mi primo tuvo que tomar la decision de abandonar el pais y tratar de encontrar mejores oportunidades en otro pais. Eso ultimo fue hace 6 años. Además siempre ha sido bondadosa con la familia cuando necesitan algo y está en sus manos la posibilidad de ayudar.  \n\nMi tia comenzó con una debilidad en su cuerpo, mareos, luego surgió una tos. Eso continuó y fue cuando empezaron a llevarla a hacerle RX y consultas. Un par de días despues ya había perdido el apetito y no comía nada, solo algunos jugos, sus raciones de comida eran muy diminutas. Llegó un punto en el que estaba muy debil, no podía caminar por si sola. A pesar de que ha comenzado a comer un poco mas, su estado de salud sigue muy delicado.\n\n> ### A new battle against covid\n\n> A week ago another one of my aunts was diagnosed with covid. It has been a week since the X-rays and the symptoms she presented determined it by the doctors who examined her, she is currently continuing with a very strong and very expensive treatment. \n\n> She is a very brave woman, I admire her because in her youth she worked tirelessly to give my cousin a good life, besides paying for all her studies until college. My cousin had to make the decision to leave the country and try to find better opportunities in another country. That was 6 years ago. She has always been kind to the family when we need something and it is in her hands to help.  \n\n> My aunt started with a weakness in her body, dizziness, then a cough. That continued and that's when they started taking her for x-rays and consultations. A couple of days later she had lost her appetite and was not eating anything, just some juices, her food rations were very tiny. It got to a point where she was very weak, she could not walk on her own. Algunas curiosidades para personas de otros países es que en nuestro estado predomina el voseo y en el resto del país el tuteo, salvo en algunas zonas donde fue adoptado en pequeñas partes. Aunque el que nos caracteriza a nosotros se diferencia mucho. \n\nUna de los hechos más relevantes de mi ciudad es que acá fue el ‘reventón’ de un pozo petrolero llamado “El Barroso II”, el cual tuvo 9 días seguidos emanando petróleo sin cesar con un aproximado de 100.000 barriles por día. Dando así a conocer nuestro país como uno de los más petroleros del mundo. Ese hecho histórico ocurrió en la década de 1920.\n\n> ### **4- What is your town or city?**\n>I live in the city of Cabimas, located in the western part of the country. Some curiosities for people from other countries is that in our state the voseo predominates and in the rest of the country the tuteo, except in some areas where it was adopted in small parts. This historic event occurred in the 1920's.\n\n\n### **5- Menciona 3 cosas que te gustan más de tu vecindario (o del lugar en el que vives)**\nMe gusta el hecho de que queda cerca de la playa, y aunque la playa no está en condiciones de uso al público debido a su contaminación, hay un pequeño parque y es un buen lugar para ir y estar un rato para despejar la mente mientras se siente la brisa y se observa la playa, la verdad me agrada mucho estar en ese sitio. También hay tiendas, farmacias y restaurantes cerca. There are also stores, pharmacies and restaurants nearby. Algunas curiosidades para personas de otros países es que en nuestro estado predomina el voseo y en el resto del país el tuteo, salvo en algunas zonas donde fue adoptado en pequeñas partes. Aunque el que nos caracteriza a nosotros se diferencia mucho. \n\nUna de los hechos más relevantes de mi ciudad es que acá fue el ‘reventón’ de un pozo petrolero llamado “El Barroso II”, el cual tuvo 9 días seguidos emanando petróleo sin cesar con un aproximado de 100.000 barriles por día. Dando así a conocer nuestro país como uno de los más petroleros del mundo. Ese hecho histórico ocurrió en la década de 1920.\n\n> ### **4- What is your town or city?**\n>I live in the city of Cabimas, located in the western part of the country. Some curiosities for people from other countries is that in our state the voseo predominates and in the rest of the country the tuteo, except in some areas where it was adopted in small parts. Although the one that characterizes us is very different.\n \n> One of the most relevant facts of my city is that here was the 'blowout' of an oil well called \"El Barroso II\", which had 9 days in a row emanating oil without ceasing with an approximate of 100,000 barrels per day. Thus making our country known as one of the most oil-producing countries in the world.
